  • I like the bit at the end when he sits down on the beach and thinks: "darn I wish I had thought to tie up the boat before I set off on the bike".

    • really? I thought the one where he arrived was hardly a beach with boulders and rocks. the one where he ends was ofcourse a beach but a very different one and ofcourse the boat couldn't have been there as self driving boats aren't made yet. he clearly arrives somewhere else in the end and he finishes his journey and sits down enjoying the view. if only he drove back to the right beach or maybe they wanted us to assume the beach as a metaphorical character

    • That's just what I was thinking, he did not even beach it. Still amazing, ride, more like a mountain goat along that path. Wonder if the route was planned and walked. Can't think that he'd ride in blind.

Bennett recorded Grit at his lymphoma's worst, when he could no longer play his instruments. 33 years young, he succumbed to cancer. What an exceptional tribute to his grit and legacy, for Danny to have cycled up this treacherously beautiful ridge. Things people do - hats off to these legends. ❤️
