Pulling Cable Underground Made Easy With Runpotec Profi Set
The Runpotec Profi Set cable pulling equipment makes it easier to pull cable or wire through underground ducting. The Profiset also works with the Runpo meter to measure the exact length of cable or ducting.
Gary Hayers lifts the lid on some cable ducts to see how the Profi set works.

Fantastic bit of kit 👍🏻
About waste, haven't seen during my construction industry journey, that any contractors are bothered about waste of materials, at the end and during the project skips are full of materials that can be used, their answer sounds like new project new quote.
@2:20 or of course without paying hundreds more, they could have just marked the damn fibreglass, like they do cables :)
I have had some battles with the rods let me tell ye 😂😂 that break system is a blessing
Great camera work! 😊
Once you get a splinter from that Cobra it's almost a given that from the point in time you will wear gloves when rodding *GUARANTEED* because it's bloody painful.
Ooh yes my friend you definitely will wear gloves i have a scar to prove that dam painful
It must be a great bit of kit as BT open reach use it . Fantastic video as always Gaz 👍👍👍👍❤️
Thanks 👍🏻
Eye shields and gloves, I’ve seen the damage they can do when they snap and shatter. Get a stash of spare ends and glue too.
Nice product. Drives that unit better then the van on the A1 this morning. Lol. I'm still lolling at the plate. BJ & URT. Pmsl. Shame they couldn't keep left.
Why not just print metre measurements on the fish rod?
Love the Rumpotec kit - if your were buying one of these cable pullers for EV charging, mainly home, which one would you recommend? big outlay for independent
Just buy a regular cobra in the lenght u need.
Great video, but I noticed when the armoured cable dropped a loop off the drum the video was cut so we could not see the armoured pull back up on the drum. I know by sheer look when that happened the armoured reached its destination. It would have been great if we see the cable pull itself back on the drum and not get snagged underneath
Can This Reel Holder Handle 800Kg of SWA Armoured Cable? kzhead.info/sun/eriJp8WBroWggqc/bejne.html
Yeah. Just as bloke says it can't happen it does.
@@piotrlobacz No, "just as bloke says" it _will_ happen but the drum spooler is designed not to make it a problem. The shape of it mean the cable most of the time doesn't get jammed there causing it to snarl, so it releases itself later as the cable winds higher up the drum again.
I wish they would coat fiberglass roddig stuff with a teflon or kapton layer. Them splinters are a barstool when they happen.
Not a new idea, started using cobra cable pullers in 1991 for NYNEX cable Comms catv installations, seems a welcome upgrade so 👍
NYNEX that's going back some years. I still work on their original network in Brighton UK, it's now Virgin Media O2.
@@kingsman428yes it was a life time ago, went through all the buy outs , cable & wireless to ntl, then Virgin media, know the Brighton network well mirrored from Portsmouth, Bournemouth
Morrison Telecom Services need to sort out a similar partnership and get their people some proper duct pulling kit. Saw a couple of them in a local OR chamber with what looked like a screw together drain rodding kit. Did not look fun at all 😕
It has to be said Doncaster Cables get the job done properly
oke ser
Gonna need a bigger van .
😁
👍👍👍👍👍
👍🏻
Great bit of kit 👍🏻

Makes superod look Mickey mouse
👍🏻
Try doing the fine work with these in cavities. That would be a good laugh. The better answer would be to have both or more options.
