Packy, have you ever made a video about the inter-workings of a bowling ball? I think it'd be interesting to see why some balls hook more than others, and I think you'd be great at explaining the physics behind that. I always thought half the ball was solid and the other half was hollow, and this is why the ball curves. Please do a video about this because I would love to hear your thoughts. Also, it'd be a great educational video for new bowlers.
Close buddy you’re on the right track Balls are made with a weight block which is a denser material than the outer shell The size and the shape of the weight block determine the bias of the weight while it’s spinning which “pulls” the ball in one direction or another Think of a lawn bowls ball they’re heavier on one side than the other which helps them curve very similar concept

Whatever the scent, it wouldn't beat the smell of the PowrKoil18 coverstock on the Danger Zone. Which the Vintage Danger Zone's coverstock still nailed.

I have the 3.0 and this is the perfect step down off of that. I start with the 3.0 and when it becomes too much in transition, I go to the Effect. The ball is so nice.
What would you say is a step above 3.0?

@@JMetal98 sorry for the late reply. It would be perfect fit between them. It’s a tad earlier than the widow 2.0 hybrid. A very good 2 ball for your case.
@@mcdowec.2020 I did end up seeing one a local PS and did get it. So far, been happy! I actually used it subbing league for all 3 games last week haha.

I’m not surprised Packy really throw amazing shots. The Hammer effect really shows the action. Also, I really like the colours on the ball. Purple is one of my favourite colours and if I ever smell it one day I’ll let you know what flavor.❤🎳
i'd kinda like to see a baseline flat ten to start. would help me a lot to see better what we're talking about for versatility. starting maybe soft wrist, stright up the back, just how far down lane will it travel before reading the friction, etc. then maybe a firmer, up the back release. then off the side...

I got a ghost for my first ball and I’m having a hard time figuring it out at times. I either get way to much hook out of it but sometimes won’t get any. I’m right handed and don’t use my thumb. Any recommendations?

The envy tour solid which is the one I have or the new envy tour pearl? Because the envy tour solid rolls way smoother/ cleaner than this new hammer effect but I think it’s similar to the envy tour pearl but that’s just me.

4 different colors? And it has a scent? Wow. That sounds like a potential benchmark ball you can bowl with not only in tournaments but also in local leagues.
I wish they would come out with a vibrant 4 color ball then I'd be impressed it looks like all the other dark colored balls.
The Taboo spare ball had 4 colors: Blue, green, red, yellow. The Columbia 300 Antics also had 4 colors.
Well, other "4 color" balls have been brought up before, but what was said is that they were 3 "base colors" which mixed. This is 4 base colors. Just what I heard. lol
They used the colors of other popular hammer balls into 1 ball essentially.

How does this ball compare to a Pearl Envy Tour? Does it snap more or less than the Tour? Is the hook shape wider?
the only thing that makes it one of a kind is Robert Smith! he did a review on that ball and made it look good
theres definitely other 4 color balls isnt the phase 4 gold black gray and purple? And it just looks black going down the lane anyway. the motiv evoke is a way bigger color technology flex

I felt this ball wasn't as strong as I was expecting yet first full game with it was a 244, then a 227, then a 213....You can tell when it finds the friction lol...

@@Lovetheducks I'm not sure but I think it may have some effect to settle the mind. Like aromatherapy. But I also think Storm may have done this to offset the smell of a bowling bag with the shoes and towels.

@@Lovetheducksyes storm did it purposely. Each storm ball has its own unique scent. Storm had a patent where they were the only company that was allowed to have a scent but I believe that patent was lifted due to the owner of storm passing away hence why this ball has a scent.

Incorrect, Motiv Forge Flare has yellow, orange, black, red, and gray if you count the two big emblems. Otherwise its red, orange, black, and yellow.
