  • These are backstreet garages where cost of repair work is much cheaper than dealerships, and it gives such workers, young and old, a livelihood, plus improving ongoing skills. My hat off to them for doing a quite a decent job, with very rudimentary tools and equipment available. Thanks for sharing the video.

  • The engine looks in good condition but the oil pan is bent in out of shape were the pump is located starving the engine oil Flow, that happens when they place the lift under the oil pan to change tires ext, even in the removal off the engine they place the lift right on the oil pan

    • Lo único admirable es que trabajan con las uñas. Ese motor no va a tardar pero ni 2 meses. No torquearon cabeza, head cilynder o como le llamen. Más bien no torqueo nada.

  • Паника. Вместо планировки головки просто протёрли тряпкой. Мальки клапанов не поменяли, гидрачи не проверили. Шикардосный ремонт. Башку на герметик. Это не паника, это ахтунг какой-то. Ржал весь ролик.

  • Man i when i was young you couldnt do home reno or fix something without me being in the fray. Now i see my seed and every toy every remote control car he has took it apart and i see me in him. That kid if working with his father uncle brothers is having the time of his life. I know some might see it different now i say ask your child for a cup of water and see if he can even get away from his game system.

  • Los ajustes perfectos sin torquímetro, para que se afloje todo en poco tiempo o para que quiebre algo al primer cambio de temperatura. Asi que reparación perfecta para que llegue justo a un taller mecánico y armen el motor con seriedad.🤭

  • It looks like they don’t change oil,they just continually add ,that’s why the oil was so black, and the car eventually leak oil ,in the piston also eked tight the oil filter to stay for the next five years,otherwise very skill children’s, no time for video games.

  • Good job on using what tools you have but this is bad long term for whoever's buying the car. Using gasket maker instead of proper oem gaskets or even after market gasket on almost everything is bad. The only gasket i saw was the valve cover gasket and the o-rings. The water pump is also not the proper gasket maker , you are supposed to use water proof type instead of the same oil resistant type everywhere else ..... Also, no torque wrenches, reusing tons of old stuffs that are cheap like the thermostat. This is more like a quick cheap repair to flip for money.

  • That was some dirty oil and coolant. No wonder it needed rebuilt. Should have replaced all hoses and belts and filters w that dusty environment. The timing chain cover.intake and oil pan def gonna leak😂

  • ❤😮😅😊 Good job there guys. I got a distant cousin to that car. I got a lot a Toyota echo 2003. It got almost 245,000 mi on it. That's still running though. I got to add oil every 600 to maybe 800 mi and it runs good and runs on premium and let it runs great. That looks like a 1.5 l engine. Very similar to what I have here in the United States. Just some things are a little different. Good job guys. Thank you. Good luck to you.

  • A very basic repair at best, not a restoration at all. No measuring/honing of the cylinders, they're using the old head bolts, no torque wrench in sight, the head gasket gets smeared with - whatever that stuff is. And to top that all off, they tighten the hell out of the new oil filter, just to make sure it never comes off again. Not a great example of 'skills'. Not to mention the child labour. Colourful it is though.
