    • He looks goofy yes. But he's actually very effective in termes of angles. Fights southpaw as a righty, which IS not a natural thing to do AT first. The way he 1-2ed Edwards and dodging AT the same Time, Canelo does this too. Very sharp. Don't forget the Bros do everything with a saving energy mindset.

You can be slicker, faster, hit harder and have better grappling but as soon as you cant keep up its all downhill and very quickly, and no-one will come back. It's just a matter of holding on until the bell because you probably are not going to finish them.

  • Legit, I think the diaz brothers' striking is a neat look at making opponents play by your rules. Their boxing is so messy and long that it forces opponents to essentially slap fight and flail their arms to stop it, which ruins their opponent's striking game. Like all of Diaz's strikes and grabs are "wrong" but it kinda means you have to defend "wrong" or get hit; And I think that really messes some guys up when they have a set way of understanding how to strike.

Boxing with excellent jujitsu on standby is just their style, with great volume and timing. Also throwing caution to the wind cause they can take a punch like no other, they don't care much about defense, which makes them so exciting to watch.

There wasn't much money to gain back then, they just had it in them to get in there and fight. The money didn't matter. The belts mattered, but not as much as today. He brings in that Tank Abbott, or Don Frye I don't give an eff attitude. Alot of guys try and act like them, but it's an act. Those guys like Nate aren't acting.
