Himalayan 452 vs KTM Adventure 390 Drag Race
The Himalayan 452 has a peak torque output of 40Nm at 5,500rpm and out of that, 33Nm is available from the 2,500rpm mark, with the ADV redlining at 8,000rpm. Features-wise, the motorcycle gets an all-new round 4-inch instrument console with music and phone controls along with integrated Google Maps navigation. From what we understand, such a configuration offers a good balance of bottom and mid-range performance.
KTM 390 Adventure is powered by 373.27 cc engine. The claimed mileage of 390 Adventure is 30 kmpl. KTM 390 Adventure gets Disc brakes in the front and rear. KTM 390 Adventure has Tubeless Tyre and Spoke Wheels Wheels.

Don't be a blind hater just on the basis of differences in their engine capacity! Does that even matter here?? Even Ninja 300 is a killer of KTM 390s even when the latter is around 75 cc more! Let's appreciate the new and more advanced product by RE! It's comparatively better as compared to the Adventure 390 as the Himalayan is still better in terms of low-end torque and tractability! Learn to appreciate a better machine irrespective of being of any brand! Day-by-day RE is improving its product at a faster pace and this is coming from a KTM rider only! 🙌❤️@@tyldudn

Meter is accurate too, when Himalayan was at around 156 and ADV 390 was at around 158-159, Himalayan was pulling towards ADV 390, which means that it's meter is accurate

@@whatdaftheydoinovader keep your high hopes down. KTM is known worldwide for their off-roaders yet their Indian variants never came close to the capabilities of RE and Hero. The fact that RE made a true off-roading bike capable of this speed should put KTM India in deep shame which never could produce a true off roader nor a twin engine
Curious why KTM was struggling at 158-159 for a certain time and once RE moved ahead it picked up again goong to 163-4 .. The RPM on KTM also was held up for a but while RE Moved up.. I own adv 390 and 160+ is usually not a struggle and rpm doesnt stagnate at that point.. However.. RE has done a good job with this.. it looks like a reliable and low end torque friendly bike.. Thats seriously a game changer..
Agree I don't think the KTM ka full potential use kiya hai. It's an easy win for adv. The bike is lightweight and generates more power.

I pity those who use insane stuff like himmy or any adv on tarmac. Id admire an adv with dust scratches and dents. I have 900 cc cafe racer, 1700 cc cruiser, 650 interceptor and himmy 450. Each of them have different purpose and pleasure. Yes, i am addicted to 0-100 but i wont expect 650 super meteor to compete with 650 interceptor coz interceptor will win any day coz of lesser weight. Scram 450 (if launched by RE with reduced weight), shall outgrow adv 390. Great engine developed by RE. The only issue of delayed initial acceleration should be taken care of.

Adv 390 go till 169 170 in good condition. Some extra weight of the crash guard and saddle stay made the difference
This Himalayan wins in two aspects: low end torque and high end speed. Low end is a friend in need in off road situations while , top speed makes tarmac travel interesting .Hats off RE ❤

I have test ridden it and all I can say is it have some damn adrenaline pumping power and torque 🔥 I wish to own this beast but financial problems is a big barrier 🥲 Like I've seen it, ridden it, loved it, and with the short 10 minute test ride I even made a bond with it, but that big barrier is preventing me from owning this beast. Gotta buy this once I passout of college and get a job. Till then it's a dream......

Both as in the indicator outer circle is for breaks and the inner tube is for indignation.

RE really made a very good engine, but they have tamed down the performance to not make people scared when they ride the bike. I feel the engine has a lot more untapped potential, especially in mid range. I want to see how much a race dynamics piggy back ecu can do boost the midrange
