@Bigfoot well, Tito doesn't know what it's like living in the wild...so yeah, good luck to him. He was never taught how to survive alone. His instincts will only go so far without knowing how to hunt and live on his own. He wasn't integrated into the wild. He ran away. So what you're saying doesn't apply here. He most likely will die on his own. But like you said, that's good right? Hopefully they never find him 🤦🏻♀️

Reminds me of how my kitties get hyped up over things expectedly..like I threw ball of wadded up wrapping paper down the hall and my cat went berserk on it for a good 5 min..hilarious. Love their paws and how they chew their food. A few months back I walked down my road to pick up my mail around Midnight, and I walked right up to a raccoon in the dark and it scared the crap out of me. I thought it was a big cat at first. He took off and so did I. Looks like they make pretty good pets. 😍
If you get one when their eyes are still closed and you feed it and they haven’t been shown what to do by their mother , they’re workable , if not good luck , they are quite nasty , they do Carry rabies as well as leptospirosis, which will kill a dog or cat ,and will destroy a humans kidneys in short order . They also will get in garbage cans , I’ve had this happen numerous times , just be careful lifting the lids .

I have raccoons living under my deck and they find smooth shiny rocks from somewhere and put them into the water bowls . These stones are not from anywhere on my property which means they are carrying them back here for some strange reason . Ive seen this over a period of many years

My pup doesn’t like apple sauce, celery, or carrots. He’ll only eat carrots and celery or any vegetable if they have pb or ranch or any condiment on them. His favorite human food is mac and cheese, cheese in general but most of all donuts(his favorite is the glazed ones he only gets a bite of a glazed or the dough no chocolate though). My old pup that died last May loved cheese, peanut butter and most of all pepperoni pizza. He hated saltines and pretzels, i can’t remember if he liked vegetables or not though. He loved apples too

I'd love to have a pet racoon. I adore how dexterous their cute little hands are and they're also extremely intelligent! U guys in the States are so lucky. The most exotic wildlife we have in the UK are badgers, deer, rabbits and foxes.

Disney did make a movie based on the book, "Rascal" by Sterling North. A must see/read for raccoon lovers the world over. I just purchased a hard cover first edition (1966) of, "Raccoons Are The Brightest People", also by Sterling North. Both are books I read when I was young and had a pet raccoon. Well worth a re-read.
