"You Learn" Duet by Alanis Morissette & Elizabeth Stanley | Jagged Little Pill

2021 ж. 8 Нау.
349 242 Рет қаралды

We recommend blasting the newly dropped version of "You Learn" performed by dynamic duo Alanis Morissette and Elizabeth Stanley. 🙌 🎶
Performed by Alanis Morissette and Elizabeth Stanley
Musicians: Tia Allen, Damien Bassman, Eric Davis, Matt Doebler, Kristine Kruta, Alex Nolan, Bryan Perri, Mary Jo Stilp, Mark Verdino
Inspired by Alanis Morissette’s Grammy Award®-winning masterpiece, JAGGED LITTLE PILL is “immaculate - charged, confrontational, and uncompromising” (Daily Beast). This electrifying new musical brings to the stage the “joyful and redemptive story of the Healys, a family with a lot of healing to do” (The New York Times).
Through explosive choreography and the raw power of an onstage band, JAGGED LITTLE PILL creates a spellbinding musical experience that “vaults the screaming audience to its collective feet” (The Guardian). The result is an exhilarating, fearless look at what it means to be alive in 21st century America. Featuring a book by Academy Award® winner Diablo Cody (Juno), this is “a show you want to shout about” (Variety). Rolling Stone says, “JAGGED LITTLE PILL burns with passion. I want to see it again and again.”

She was so amazing, and unlike so many performers her voice was not only still good but better than ever. Her arrangements of her classics had also evolved - I loved the originals but also loved the new arrangements too - it was like hearing them anew, while they also still felt like a familiar much loved song. She is such a talent.

Impressive. ...and how much confidence in your vocal ability do you have to have to KNOW you can sing with Alanis, still sound amazing, and hold your own? Also impressive. Awesome musicians, too!
