Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan ➖ After spending months in the middle east, it is guaranteed that you're going to need a shoe clean to make sure your kicks are looking fresh! Today I went on that shoe clean hunt with my friend @worldnomac. After getting it done we searched for some local food and found ourselves smoking shisha at a local restaurant with some friendly staff. We then finished our day off at our hotel making the most of the 5-star facilities.

The one that cleaned your show is not a rich guy. He works like a shoe-cleaner because he can not do anything else. You most likely made his day. Shoe-cleaners don't get a lot of customers daily.

As I've said in the @World Nomac's site, I'm surprised about Kurdistan, no matter if belongs to Iraq or is an independent territory, it's an amazing place to visit and enjoy of their friendly people. I'll be there as soon I can, for sure. Up with Kurdistan 🤩😍
Thank you very much, and no we don't belong to anyone. Kurdistan is an autonomous region so we have seperate government and military. Its "within" iraq but iraqi government dosent have any authority in Kurdistan.
Kurdistan will remain an Iraqi land even if its government is independent, and its name will remain (Iraqi Kurdistan).
@@imannaji993 The official name is "Herêmi Kurdistan" or "Autonomous Region of Kurdistan" in English. You yourself can call it whatever you want if it makes you feel better. Call it North-Iraqistan for all I care. At the end of the day, Iraq has no actual control in Kurdistan and I think we have made it very clear the direction we're moving in the future. All I am going to say is, enjoy your visa-free travels to our mountains while you still can😉
They take their salaries from the central government, and they have a good annual percentage of Iraq’s budget, which comes from Basra oil, although the region contains oil, but it goes to the regional government and their families, and the Kurdish people do not get anything from it!! In general, they hold Iraqi citizenship and an Iraqi passport. They are only a region in the State of Iraq and are also part of the great Iraqi people, even if they deny that.
