    • The reason why Mladenovic celebrates on unforced error in your video is that every times that happens she is winning the game. Then the last balls are at the end of the match when they are in a win or die kind of situation. It makes sense for her to celebrate, so no real fault there. That, however, is Roland Garros, and the French tennis audience is by far the worse, the less civil, the less considerate of all tennis audiences on the planet. They even booed their own Alizet Cornet when she lost because she had to withdraw due to a sever injury.

Bouchard and her one career title and her 1 win against a newly returning player (check the heah 2 head 😉😉😉) means nothing when you really think about it. In-form Sharapova would have EASILY beaten Mladenovic in Stuttgart, Bouchard here, Sevastova in New York, Halep in Rome, Bertens in Madrid, Garcia in Montreal...hell, she might have beaten Osaka in Indian Wells and Muguruza in Paris. In the case of Sharapova while i like her she made a huge mistake and the use of that drug was banned for a reason as was steroid use. It was already banned in international hockey and the whole Russian junior IHF team was banned from competing for use of that PED something she and her doctors would know explicitly. • As a Canadian, I am just glad that women's tennis is now represented by the likes of Leylah Fernandez and Bianca Andreeescu rather than Genie Bouchard. Her self-entitlement and arrogance just annoys me - when she was first starting, granted, it was a little bit fun, a little edgy, but it quickly got old, especially when you don't have the results to back that arrogant talk.

  • Not a fan of Bouchard, but her point about not giving wild card to players banned for doping make sense. What's the point of the ban if players can just comeback easily after a ban? Wild cards should be given to players that lost their ranking cause they got injured or childbirth. Even with the wildcard they have to work hard to overcome the disadvantages of injuries and lack of training, players who are banned for doping can still train and remain in top form until their ban lifted.

    @skychaos87@skychaos87 Жыл бұрын
    • That's echoing the sentiments I had at the time. Sharapova was welcomed back like she was returning from an injury or retirement. She was returning from a doping suspension. What player returning from a suspension gets WCs? If she wanted to get back, she should have been playing challengers and qualies to get her ranking back up.

    • @@iamshadowbanned699 Except that Sharapova didn't cheat. In other words, Bouchard falsely accused the other athlete of cheating. And on top of that, she arrogantly played someone she is not - that is, the "savior" of fair play in sports (someone who did not shake hands with another athlete). And her whole Salierian complex of mediocrity. That's what people criticized her for here. Someone who really didn't even care about justice. Going back to Sharapova, there is a difference between cheating and unknowingly taking a banned substance (a substance that was previously legal). Between fraud and stupidity. After all, Sharapova was not convicted of cheating (fairly). That's the bottom line. Slander regarding "cheating". A lie that has been debunked many times, yet Sharapova's detractors will continue to repeat this lie. Just another demonstration that a lie repeated a hundred times eventually becomes the "truth".

    • @vecnyslovan5676 Salerian? haha we're quoting Amadeus now? Please. If anything, Sharapova should be thankful for that drug or else she would have been the Salieri to Serena's Mozart even more than she was. Roger Federer and Andy Murray also chided her for her doping. Are they also the patron saints of mediocrities for daring to criticize her? Laughable. If it was truly legal why did she not declare it for years? She only mentioned it once. What was there to be afraid of? It was "legal" right? All the more reason she should have cited meldonium in the countless times she was asked to list all of the drugs and substances she was taking. But as we all know, she conveniently forgot to mention it like I said. What you also conveniently forgot to mention is the maker of the drug itself said that it was not meant to be used for the long term. But she did. Oh well. Oh also, she doubled her dosage whenever an important match was to be played. Please do forgive me for being so mediocre to dare to criticize and call out Sharapova and to ask questions that any sane and logical individual would do.

      @iamshadowbanned699@iamshadowbanned6993 ай бұрын
    • @@iamshadowbanned699 1) We are talking about Bouchard, not Federer. Federer, like many others, was not infallible and simply spread false information based on a misinterpretation of the decision of the WTA commission, which, on the other hand, decided that Sharapova was not convicted as a cheater. And in the case of Bouchard, the criticism of her personality is absolutely justified in this case. 2) Sharapova won over Serena Williams at Wimbledon in 2004. So long before she started taking Meldonium. A classic example of misinformation on your part. It can also be seen that you do not understand at all what the fictional prototype of Salieri embodies. This prototype embodies the average person who suffers from arrogance, standing on tiptoe and looking arrogantly at the greats and the whole world, who just couldn't appreciate his mediocrity. Which does not correspond at all to Sharapova, who is by no means among the average, but among the greatest tennis greats in history and was known for her humility. The humility that Salieri's prototype so lacks. And which Bouchard (a real average athlete) was missing. And finally Williams (but that's a different case than Bouchard). 3) In the event that Sharapova has not previously announced and recorded taking Meldonium anywhere, the Occam's Razor rule applies given the available evidence. So that the simplest explanation corresponds to the truth. Given that meldonium was legal until 2015 and became illegal the following year, and Sharapova tested positive for meldonium a few months after that, i.e. only a short time after, it is clear here that the reason was not cheating, but naivety and incompetence Sharapova, who apparently thought that since Meldonium was legal, she didn't need to record it. And she also believed that if meldonium had been legal for a long time, why would it be different tomorrow and did not check the list of newly banned substances due to her own carelessness. And soon she found out her mistake. If she cheated here, she didn't have to tell the truth that she's been taking it since 2006. If she cheated, it would be enough for her to lie that she's been taking meldonium since 2015, for example. No one could prove otherwise to her. Given that Sharapova truthfully and honestly admitted the time she used Meldonium and took responsibility for her failure, she evidently had no reason to hide anything. No cheating. Just irresponsible and incompetent behavior. Dot.
