I noticed that the regeneration time (1.2 seconds per dagger) is applied only when she stops attacking, so a really interesting buff would be to apply it while she's attacking, this effectively regenerates up to 2.3 daggers by the time she goes from full ammo to none because 8 daggers x 0.35 attack speed turns out to be 2.8 seconds of total attacking time.
This would definitely be a good change, because she seems a little bit weak

It's not about small or big troops, it's about small or big pushes. She's good vs small pushes and bad vs big ones
It's a bit weird because it feels like she has almost the exact same weakness as cannoner that being fast pace decks but at the same time she can't deal with big pushes
Cannoneer's weakness is simply swarm. He usually holds off better than the princess against big pushes as long as there's no bats or goblin barrel to distract him.
To make her decent i think the opponent should not be able to see the bar because that give a big advantage to the opponent, it's like showing the cooldown speed of the cannoneer
that's a neat point, it would make people calculate/predict those timings.

It really isn't hard to determine whether or not she is running out of daggers. In the end, the most common strategy to counter her is to simply spam troops anyway so there's not much difference on whether we can see the bar or not.
Honestly she seems like the weakest Tower Troop, either her reload needs to be faster or she has more ammo, then I think she'll be on par with the other two tower troops.
It does need to be broken or even good, unless everyone has it, it would be super p2w if it was

They should of done something with her that's similar to the Little Princes fire rate charge up but resets after retargeting so that she is slightly more vulnerable to swarms but more potent against tanks. The reload mechanic just leaves her way too vulnerable for her to be comp I think.
I think they should slightly buff the amo regen, or amount of amo, or both. Otherwise she won't be viable almost at all.
She has only like 10% lower dps than princess tower. The only buff possible is just max dagger increase so she can kill tank with more ammo to spare

I think she could actually benefit a lot from a range nerf, since a lot of her daggers just get instantly used up the moment anything crosses the bridge
They seem to forget that the one facing this card is a human with eyes and a brain. The human understands that she is good vs small pushes and bad vs big ones, therefore they'll never send small pushes, therefore the card is shit and feels bad to play all the time.
Basically this is an indirect buff for the pekka bridge spam

Maybe you could make it so that the duchess regenerates 1 dagger every kill, so for example she would be good against skarmy, but the same as now against tanks. This may be a little op, but it would be more biased towards the idea of her countering swarms.
That makes sense but yeah too op. I mean yeah she struggles against bigger tanks after draining so there's a benefit to running tanks, and then it wouldn't be as detrimental to face swarms when that's the whole point of the card. I could see this not helping much against pekka bridgespam though cause the fireballies take so many daggers to kill still.
Maybe regens 1/2-4 as to maintain a sense of vulnerability against larger troops.
Personal opinion, turn it into a burst tower. Shoot all 6 daggers, reload idk let’s say for 3-5 seconds,then she shoots them all again. Would be better but with the drawback she doesn’t shoot constantly

you're acting like the ability to negate 3 elixir from the enemy is a bad thing, you can counter hog with other things like buildings. imo this deck only works in decks with a building to use both sides to quickly defend a big push

All of this Tower Troops made me appreciate the Tower Princess more than ever. We only got two new TT and the two of them are underwhelming, but at least the Dagger Duchess is not as horrible as the Canonneer is

Destroys sudden attacks from the bridge, but can't handle constant pressure. Seems balanced imo.
Except it massively rewards you for constant pushing instead, to the point any deck not meant to constant push is still very rewarded, you need a VERY defensive deck to be able to compensate for that, and all you get is likely 1 or 2 spare elixir for what she can defend compared to someone else

The only use case for this tower is xbow and maybe mortar. Or perhaps RG as well, basically defensive siege decks.
She should be reworked so that she attacks with the same speed but makes way less dmg per hit with no reload time

Hey OJ, what do you think about if the DD instead of running out of ammo and shooting slow, she could instead begin to shoot faster like the little prince charge, but her damage significantly decreases to a reasonable amount. That way she can destroy swarms but she’d still need help to take a out a tank, because if her dps falls a bit compared to her dps when she attacks, she could destroy a tank but it would still force you to make a play to avoid too much damage. Maybe it wouldn’t work idk just an idea

The duchess has ~6% less dps when charging up than the default tower, that's not that bad, since it still has ~5% more HP
It helps x-bow and counters x-bow, It has more hp so my x-bow needs more hits and my level 14 fireball (+2) needs a = amount of hits as a normal

i dont really see a benefit to using her. same with the canoneer. princess tower is so far just better. you never know who you face, so having a tower thatcan deal with everything is better than those specialized towers.
they should make it so once the ammo bar is empty, it won't attack for let's say 3 or so seconds, and then all the daggers are back. This means that it can balance the swarm out and make the tower more balanced with interactions being consistent. Give a like because I think this is a solid idea for a balance change. And who knows what could happen.
daggers could also regenerate slower if no opposition troop is on their side, in case it regenerates too quickly after a hog push per se.
This is basically another pekka bridge spam buff along with the op evo battle ram, since you just spam at the bridge and it'll suck after a few shots
She either needs more daggers or a faster recharge speed because the slow fire rate is very oppressive
