  • Love the return of conversational style for a video like this where the purpose is to show your competitive take on things and especially now that it's paired up with great editing it's just *chef's kiss* I do feel like more heavily scripted videos still make sense in the context of certain videos that you'll make like tournament runs where the purpose is to develop a narrative or maybe inform the viewer about specific things

  • I loved this style of video! Very informative yet really casual and relaxed, you should definitely create more videos like this! I’d love to see the Best Poison or Dragon types primarily because of how big the Fairy Type introduction was from Gen 6 onwards, keep up the great work!!

  • Loved the video. You are, by far, one of my favourite contwnt creators. Ever since you started doing scripted videos with a heavier enphasis in editing, the quality of your channel has improved enormously. And I enjoy more this kind of conversational videos, as your delivery is less robotic. Thank you very much for putting so much into your channel and for giving me countless hours of entretainment over the years

  • Great video, as always! I think it was worth it talking about all 3 venusaurs, as it was a great primer on grass types and made it easier to talk about the rest of the list going forward.

  • 4:20 it doubles its speed stat not the base speed stat so venusaur would have more than 160 base speed

    • Yeah but maybe you'd run venusaur bulky, so maybe you don't have any investment, and thus would only have 160 base speed? Idk maybe vgc has Venusaur be fast I wouldn't know

  • I like this editing style a lot, the pokemon displays with the type-matching backgrounds are really cool and just feel like they fit a lot with the analysis style. One thing I would say is that inserting anime clips, and to a lesser extent cartridge 1v1 clips was quite jarring and didn't mesh very well with the video in my opinion. Of course, just constructive criticism, but i love the videos all the same and props to whoever edited this :)

  • So regarding your demeanor in the video, I think that it was perfect. I came here for information and you gave it to me but also explained it very well and made it entertaining at the same time. I would definitely recommend to keep up what it is that you're doing. Also, this video is just great in general. I'm newer to the pokémon battling scene and I'm constantly looking for videos like these. I think that an entire series of this for all the types would be an amazing idea. Obviously as long as it's something that's feasible for you to do. I would also like to say that as a newer player, I find your videos significantly more helpful than many others and that you have a very pleasant and professional demeanor but your jokes are well timed and add a nice little sense of mild comic relief from the seriousness of the content. Not necessary but enjoyable all the same. I'm currently making my way through your video library to learn as much as I can so that I can hopefully eventually enter on a competitive level myself. I feel like the information you give is invaluable and is what's going to help push me there. You are definitely an A+ content creator with a very pleasant personality that can be watched for long periods of time without making the viewer feel bored, uninterested, or that you're not giving enough information. Keep doing what you're doing and I very much look forward to your future content!

  • This is a great video Wolfe :D the informal, conversational delivery is really engaging and fun, and it's also hilarious (and impressive) to see you flex your competitive pokemon knowledge completely off the cuff. I saw another comment compare this style to having a conversation with a buddy who's teaching you about something, def agree. Also the editing is freaking awesome, great job to you/your team (if you have one)! The scripted videos definitely have their place and I love those as well. It's awesome to watch all of your content evolve (no pun intended). Thanks for the great work as always!! :3
