Real ones never stopped recognizing Reggie as a Heisman winner.
And im glad we didnt 🤘🤘🤘🤘
RB was a beast in collage!
I'm happy Vince young said no to, because even being a long horn fan we know it's reggies
RL recognize RL
Facts
Pete Carroll now has 3 Heisman winners. Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, and Reggie Bush.
Same with Lincoln Riley and who knows how many more he'll end up having. But Pete also had 2 on the same team 😬
Now?
Even crazier is USC fans now have 8 Heisman winners 8 Trojans have won the coveted Heisman Trophy as college football’s outstanding player: Mike Garrett (1965), O.J. Simpson (1968), Charles White (1979), Marcus Allen (1981), Reggie Bush (2005), Carson Palmer in 2002, Matt Leinart in 2004, Caleb Williams in 2022
He always had Reggie bush! No trophy can take his accomplishments away you kidding me!
And yet they all sucked in the NFL. The Heisman is a bs award.
Johnny Football stood on business! The support from all players really made a push. This man is the reason I cheer for USC. That Texas vs USC game still is the best game I’ve ever seen
Agreed! Best football game ever including NFL games. I was a freshman in high school when I saw it
The face on Pat and AJ when Ian brought up OJ is priceless lol
Most of the other Heisman winners probably were getting "incentives" to play and Reggie is just the only one who got caught. They never should have taken it away from him in the first place.
The fact is he has gotten his rightful Heisman back and let us also never forget he is a Super Bowl champion
In our eyes Reggie always been a Heisman winner
💯%...
USC now has the most Heisman Trophy winners.
Yes that is what they said on the show
🤡 or bot
And most double homicides
@@jericamichael3639shut up
OU? With 7 right? So tied for most.
Pat's face during the OJ callout xDDDD
At 4:45 ? This is a nothing comment. Everyone saying there was a reaction just likes clickbate.
He wanted to say something so bad
Dude I saw right away 😂
But like OJ still has his? Weird huh
@@darthconqueruswhy should oj lose his what did he do
Reggie was the OG with highlight reels when youtube first started!!! So glad he got his Heisman back
I thought Johnny Manizel who boycotted until Reggie got it back would never go to another Heisman ceremony. Thank goodness
oh yea Johnny Football tied for 1st too
Correct, Johnny Manizel had announced earlier in the year that he would hold out from attending the Heisman Trophy Presentation ceremonies until Reggie was reinstated to the “Heisman Circle”.
That Johnny manziel hold out helped!
Johnny Manziel really went on the shortest and most efficient strike in all of history lol. Dude said he'd boycott the Heismann less than two months ago, and basically forced the NCAA to get with the times.
Every modern Era RB is an attempt to recreate USC Reggie Bush. If he actually played in today’s era it would be lethal. He still played in the Era of *HEAD HUNTERS* which is what made the jukes all that much more dangerous and exciting to watch. Those players weren’t just trying to tackle him…they were trying to obliterate him.
Yeah, Reggie took one of the hardest hits I've ever seen when he was on the Saints
Yeah I was gonna bring that up, might be the most brutal “highlight” hit I’ve seen, meaning I’m not including theissman or Johnny Knox or anything scary in turnout. Bush got levitated. I was impressed he got up in the pain, that’s a man geez. I’m happy he doesn’t have to live with the injustice of the award yoinkage and hopefully can reexperience what he rightfully earned in pure vindication. I’m a fan of true justice.
You acting like Reggie was too early for his time. There were many scatback RBs that put up better numbers before Reggie. He just didn’t pan out to be as good as everyone expected. It had nothing to do with him being in the “wrong” era.
@@Madman33-nv8ht Bush simps will never accept this, but it's the truth. Well said.
@@Madman33-nv8ht What I’m saying is that the success of HIGH PASS volume with Drew Brees and Reggie at New Orleans was an eye opener compared to the High Run low Pass that Brees Ran with Ladainian Tomlinson and the Chargers (why were league MVP backs not getting rings? And scat backs were?). It ushered in a new era that led to the dying out of traditional bell cows. Pierre Thomas and Reggie went to work and split the load nicely. Reggie was able to be utilized any and everywhere. You could make the argument that the Saints entire offense revolved around Reggie Bush, positioning him like a chess piece. In today’s ruleset, every team wants to be the Super Bowl Saints. Prior to that NO TEAM was throwing it that many times a game. So the league is literally NEW ORLEANS ball. Even your chiefs are running it. So in a league of SAINTS style offense…REGGIE would feast. Especially with the rules catering to the offense. *Reggie Bushes exciting play in the NFL 100% impacted the game* . It’s why the passing game is what it is today. Otherwise Mahomes would be on a 25-28 Throws per game team with a different offense entirely.
At long last. He finally gets it back. I'm very happy for him
This Nissan commercial is about to be legendary
First black man in American history to receive reparations
😂
Fr 😂
😂😂
What about the 40 acres and a mule?
🤣🤣🤣
Reggie should be on the NCAA 25 cover
I randomly paused at 2:47 and when i came back to it just thought he said coming in your eyes 😂
I forgot about this until Manziel made it a thing again - glad Reggie got that respect back on his name!
Crazy him and alex Smith played on same high-school team
Glad Reggie got his heisman back. One of the greatest college football players ive ever watched.
Im happy for him, guy was absolutely electric
Just not gonna mention Johnny threaten boycotting the Heisman unless they give it back to Reggie. Like its clear that it wasn't given back because they're good people
It was mentioned like 3 times in the video.
Pat is cranky today, hope he’s alright ❤
The moment USC will announce the game for which Reggie will run out the tunnel, that stadium will be sold out.
Heisman committee “punted”.
He had the best single college football season ever. 2nd place Ricky Williams breaking rushing record. 3rd place Sincere Mc Cormick.
6:54 pat - im ashamed, hawk - hold this laugh in
It's ABOUT DAMN TIME. anyone who was alive back then knew Reggie was a GD stud, getting paid or not his play was what got him his recognition, how many ppl you think got paid and didn't do a damn thing. And had no repercussions.
This dude is in a league of his own
Even as a Notre dame fan…. He was probably the most electric player I’ve seen. He was insane, so fun to watch
Hands down best player that year in college
❤❤I cannot wait to see that Nissan TV commercial where they welcome Reggie Bush into the Heisman house. It should be something where all of the Heisman winners welcome him into the house along with other key past winners, such as Johnny Manziel.❤❤
As a lifetime Saints fan, especially growing up in the Reggie era, you know the Reggie flying picture was everywhere
Now put him on the cover of the new NCAA Football game
The cover is gonna say ea on it. Will have nothing to do with football or players
This is amazing. He’s one of my favorite college players n I always rooted for him in the NFL. Glad he’s got a championship in NCAA and NFL.
4:00 - 4:11 I swear I was thinking the same exact thing 🙌🏽 congrats to Reggie
Hell yes! Im 42 from missouri and that team is the most memorable ever for me, and that texas game...he deserves it.
Reggie Bush on the Heisman commercials now!?????!!
Biggest Vince young fan. He was the best and proved it, but we’re glad they returned his heisman
I always thought when I watch Reggie playing for USC that he was like the Barry Sanders of college football.. just a phenomenal player congratulations champ
Free The 2010 Buckeyes. Put some respect on Terrelle Pryer and Jim Tressel. This right here shows there is presence to reinstate that season. 12-1. Big 10 Champs. Sugar Bowl Champs.
This was Long Over Due! Go Reggie!!!! Fight On!!!
They got to do a Heisman House commercial now, with a return of the king ring to it. Like Simba from the lion king coming home, and the NCAA being the Hyenas. I think they could do a lot with it, they are always great commercials.
Greatest college football player ever, getting back what never should have been taken away.
I hope we get to see the video of him getting it back. That'll be awesome.
Us SoCal fans were havin a great day after this news yesterday!
4:48 lol the OJ call out
You can all thank Ed Obannon….get that guy on your show……his lawsuit was the catalyst for all of this happening…..
About freakin time!!!! Congrats Reggie!!
How does Pat mention Wvu and not mention Noel Devine?
Now give Maxx Crosby the 2023 DPOY the NFL robbed him of
Pete should’ve answered every remaining question with “So the Heisman is sensitive to bad publicity…”
Big ass W
One of the best to ever do it at the CFB level. Absolute monster
Do I care about the Heisman if Reggie Bush can't have it? No! Good on Reggie for losing the Trophy gracefully in public all those years ago too. If he had acted a fool, I'm pretty sure this day would not have come.
Let's not forget, he refused to pay back the loan that led him getting his trophy taken away. That is still against NCAA rules people. What changed???
Reggie’s heisman was never revoked. He was never forced to give it up. Everything came to light, it was a big controversy and the NCAA began deciding whether or not to make Reggie give it up, Reggie voluntarily gave it up of his own volition in order for the NCAA to not have to make a difficult decision. I always thought that was a real class act by Reggie. It’s weird to me how only over the last few years he’s changed it to “They made me give it up.”
Let’s gooo he the goat. Still remember his rookie year that man was a DAWG. I’m just glad he got a ring
Give USC back the BCS National Championship trophy back and the wins back! Fight On! ✌️
He wasn’t a legit heisman winner back then. That was Vance young’s trophy and it was stolen from him.
When they took that from him it was one of the most cringe things in sports.
Did dude say "pride" and then list OJ as a prideful member of USC alum lmao
Damn. The amount of hope this fills me with is unexplainable.
I never watched college football until Reggie Bush took the nation by storm. Stopped when they took his Heisman away.
Love my Mountaineers but I love college football all together and dude was awesome. USC vs Texas was one of the best games I ever watched. It’s off topic but that’s when every team had those ugly gray gloves lol.
Reggie was my RB on Madden Franchise for like 10 years straight every team I played
DITTO!!!
Glad Reggie got his trophy back. Maybe now, considering that EVERY SINGLE MLB pregame show has the hosts eating DraftKings, or FanDuels, a55, and picking a parlay for the game ... time to put Pete Rose in the MLB HOF.
I have to disagree, he was paid to go to USC in a time when it was illegal. His family living in a mansion and driving Escalades right in everyone`s faces. He was a great college player (the best money could buy) but he was criminally misused in New Orleans. It`s like if they legalize steroids for baseball should the asterisk be removed from Barry Bonds record?
I was fortunate to watch Reggie play in the LA Superdome for the NO Saints.
Johnny and uncs platform helped out big time happy for Reggie
It's about freaking time
Is the bacon pretzel pub coming back??
The answer is no. Pete Rose should not be in the HOF
I really don't understand this one. He got it stripped for accepting impermissible benefits, and now that NIL is in place, he somehow didn't violate the rules from back when he was in school, post facto?
Finally! I am a USC hater and I still think what they did to him was wrong!
When Pat, the king of terrible run on questions, insults Aj's question, it blows my freaking mind
This is pretty stupid. He broke the rules. But, if we are going this route, let’s go ahead and give Lance his Tour medals back and get Pete Rose into the Hall.
The greatest college running back of all time
Possibly the greatest heisman year ever
The best college football player ever. I just need them to drop his throwback jersey
Reggie’s average TD was 33 yards. Dude was crazy.
About damn time!
After johnny was on club shay shay speaking about all the money he made and why he was doing it and he still has his trophy.. it was only right to give Reggie his back… wayyyyyyyy over due, should have never been taken
How many times you think he pulled the heisman pose in the sack with kimmy K
Don’t pat their backs. It took them getting called out by Johnny Manziel.
Pat eyes when he said OJ 4:45 😂😂. He’s like I’m about to get cancelled 😂😂. Aaron Rogers flat earth all over again lol. I never thought in my lifetime that I would see White Men, the literally MAJORITY MEN, of their own country, that their founding father created AFRAID. To speak whatever they wanted WOW, what a time
I thought they could only take your Heisman trophy if you killed your wife and a waiter?
What does “coming In your eyes” mean?
To me he was a massive Marcus Allen....I WANTED HIM ON THE RAIDERS SO BAD!!! I am beyond ecstatic he is reinstated with the Heisman.
About time this happened
Bout fuckin time! Happy he got his heisman back!
Good...now the TDF should give LA back his 7 victories. LOL
Should have been Vince Young’s but does Reggie deserve it? Sure…
Now manziel can return😤
Now let's work on Pet Rose HOF
Crazy how someone could be a college football god but was so mid in the NFL
Reggie Bush is the Heisman
Fookin finally. Yeah Reggie. As a bears fan though, my favorite Reggie bush moment was in the 2006 NFC chomp when Reggie yac-ed what I recall was a wheel route 80 something for a touchdown at soldier field and waved at urlacher on the way. Why? Because NO scored no points after that and it began to snow and I’ve never seen Chicago happier except for with MJ and when Dev returned the opening kick of the Superb Owl that year after two weeks of chatter about it. That night with NO going down, I fookin surprise blasted a my super beautiful blonde best female grad school friend in the face with a wonderfully crafted snowball. Riding high. The way it ended that season though, never felt Chicago so depressed as the day after. Hurts less today. I should have married that girl not my ex wife too.
