One thing for sure about Almeida whose a Jijitsu style of fighter compared to guys like Fabricio Werdum and Frank Mir and Minotoro Nogueira is that Almeida is a great wrestler in order to get to his Jijitsu game. Mir, Werdum and Nogueira was not elite wrestlers in order to set up their jijutsu game, sometimes they would be laying on their backs and they would hope that you come to the ground with them and mostly Mir and Werdum who does this.

He’s really not. Maybe he had an injury and wanted to be on the ground for this one it looked like he didn’t want to stand at all. I’ve never once thought he was boring though.
