Sponsored post. I liked the battery so much i went on Amazon and bought a second one.
High quality features at a great price. These batteries are a great addition to our solar setup here at our home and shop.

Check back for future updates on the battery performance.
If you are interested in purchasing please do some additional tear down reviews of this battery. I saw a lot of great reviews and videos of their products.
You should inquire to see if they have a storage case for these units. Your shop gets dirty and you need a cabinet to house these components. I'm sure that they know that their units aren't the standard size.
Very nice. I noticed in our travels that co. Ut. AZ are all working on there electrical grid
Great information and glad you shared the fact they gave you one to test. Apparently the test proved positive if you went and invested in two more units.😊
Statement is funny because most come from China ! Most of electronics are from there to!
Nice
Hopefully, @WillProwse will get his hands on one to open it up and see what's inside plus do full testing.

@@BusGreaseMonkey, not bad, but, I think I'll stick with EG4. The BMS settings in the Vatrer aren't as conservative as I'd like. I think the ($200 at the moment) extra cost of the EG4 will be offset with a longer life than the Vatrer.
@@pcspecialistpdxnot really. Vatrer is rated for 100% doc for 5000 cycles. The EG4 80% for 7000. Not a huge difference at all
Ohh wowww very nice guys ....I have a question I have gmc conversion van and I did all solar I have a total of 360 watts total on the roof panels my inverter is 2500 pure sine wave. I have 2 lead cell 100 AMP HRS batterys. Wire in parallel.....my system 12 volt 120 electric...but I would like to have small microwave.......do they have a unit like that were I could get ride of my batterys ....I'm learning as I go 😊😊
If you're gonna run those 2 in parallel you should take the positive from one and the negative from the other and run the parallel links between the 2 otherwise they will run slightly different voltages between them.
That was obviously a temporary addition of the batteries.
@@BusGreaseMonkey I suspected as much but though I would point it out as it is as easy to wire temporarily correct as temporarily incorrect 😉
Some relevant information to give next time : - Type of cells used ( 21700 / 18650, chemistry, brand ) - Does it have the ability to control charge % ? ( 80% / 90% max charge limit for longevity ) Leaving lithium ion batteries at full charge or fully depleting them are bad
There are tear down videos of it on yt already
Are you planning to add more solar panels in the blank areas to increase your capacity
Probably… but 30kW is quite a lot. But cloudy days protection is nice. That end has some shade in the morning so ive been leaving that open.
Their golf cart battery costs nearly twice as much ($417/kWh vs $215/kWh). I wonder why.
With your kind of usage, how long can you expect them to last?
10 years hopefully. Check back then ;)
Every month it seems like a new Chinese battery company appears. It is madness trying to fix and service all these brands.
They all use the same internal components. A few variations but relatively standard
@@BusGreaseMonkey Are they really made the same? Will the company be in business in a few years for any warranty issues? Is the BMS reliable enough to prevent meltdown? Will the BMS go haywire and open circuit? All things for time to tell us I guess. There is a lot more to a battery than just the cells in it.
Search for a tear down video of this battery. It’s all pretty standard.
@@BusGreaseMonkey It is the same with buses, they all have the same internal components.....
Its not so bad. Almost all of them use EVE-style prismatic cells and a similar BMS. I bought 4 of these from amazon returns with shot BMS units for about 50% of new cost, and smacked in a BMS suitable for my purpose for 120 for each one. The breakers are all pretty standard format, etc. Only thing that requires a little bit of change is the internal wiring, but it's no problem if you have the stuff to crimp medium and larger gauge battery terminals.
$1,099 on Amazon, not cheap but not real expensive for such a device either.
Made in China. Any battery that says that is a firm no from me.
Who is making them in the USA?
And a firm no from me also!!
