Great Lakes Surf Fishing & Tent Camping Adventure (Cooking a Salmon Omelette)

In this episode, join Oliver and I as we set out for an adventure along the Lake Superior shoreline. Although our bites didn't come easy, we caught a perfect display of species that Superior has to offer. Between camping, cooking and fishing, this is an action packed episode and I hope you enjoy!
Thanks for watching! ~Kyle McClelland

  • I'm always shocked at the size of the fish from the Great Lakes... Incredible. If I lived there I'd fish every single day. 💥💥💥💥

  • Another great video Kyle. Your cinematography is top notch, but your enthusiasm for fishing and the outdoors is what makes your videos so enjoyable to watch. I unfortunately don’t have time for these adventures anymore with kids and a very busy schedule, but I recognize a lot of your locations around Michigan from experience. I’m fishing Lake Michigan as much as possible, hope to run into you sometime on the water. Thanks for sharing all these incredible videos. Pro tip: use that Dog heat to stay warm, that dude is living his best life!

I caught small rainbow Trout in the small waterfalls/rapids. My boys had a great time jumping off the edge of the cliff into Lake Superior.

  • Kyle, I'm out here in Washington State again this spring working for the DFW and it makes me feel good that you are going to my favorite spots to fish so I'm not missing out on spring fishing as much as otherwise. It's been a while since I was there but the one spot at the river mouth in the Park we used to go out on that sandstone spit which would enable us to fish directly into deeper water. There was a rope hanging down at the narrowess and steepest part of the trail going out to it. I wonder if the rope is still there or the Park Service took it out?
