First Run of Lake Michigan SPRING KING SALMON // 20 lb Brown Trout (Report, May 4th)

Fishing between Pentwater and Ludington, Mi for the first run of mature kings. We ended up 7/11 all on spoons with mostly leadcore and a couple slide diver bites as stated in the report. We fished in 100-120 fow and caught fish around 15-50 foot down. After king fishing we slid onto the beach to target some brown trout and ended up landed a 20.30 pound brown trout which was a fish of a lifetime! Absolute awesome fish and excited to target more kings this year. Shoutout to Dreamweaver, Great Lakes Gear and Captain Chucks II.
