Little tip from a marine here Mav, also love the videos. When you have the heater for the MRE, obviously put water in it but fill it a little past the line on the bag. Then shake it a bit so the water can spread over the heating packet. Once it heats up a bit, smack it a couple of times on the heater and it’ll warm right up. Again love the videos man much love brotha
Got to say, the collab with Luke was very unexpected and felt unreal that 2 of the biggest camping KZheadrs were in the same vicinity, great video Mav!

Just watched the collab with Luke and Outdoor boys! Was stoked to see you guys meet up! U should go with Luke next winter on one of his winter camping trips where he builds little enclosed beds. That would be super cool video. And you should hit up Kyle's Cabin!! He lives in Northern Minnesota too. Built his own cabins from trees in the woods. Yall are about the same age!! Keep on trucking Mav!! Just a couple ideas on future videos!

First off when I read the title I had to do a triple take to make sure what I was reading was correct. I have watched Outdoor boys for years and to see you collab with them is unreal. @@andreshr3595 this is so true. ive been watching luke for years now and this is the first time ive seen Luke like that. he's had other collab videos with other people and he didn't seem to be that of a snob with them. Maybe he doesn't like Mav. But Mav just gained another sub from me. I don't think I can watch another video from the Outdoor boys anymore. Luke felt rude.

seeing more vids of people in alaska alot lately and honestly, i've been feeling homesick for alaska. I was born in Anchorage but raised in palmer for the most part and i moved out of there early 2021 and i've been really itching to go back and visit. Maybe someday when i can afford it lol. The one time I went Ice fishing with my dad, grandad and cousin was a scary horrific experience. We went out late in the season on Lake Simcoe here in Ontario. We were way out on the ice in a rented hut. The ice cracked all night scaring the shit out of me! The water kept fluctuating in the hole...didn't sleep a wink. Caught crap. In the morning there were huge sheets of fresh ice on top of the existing ice. You'll never catch me out on the ice ever again.

I've learned on MREs add the salt packet to the water of the frh and it works a lot better
Salmon rub: cheap lemon pepper, chili powder, dried dill weed. Bake or grill

If you shake the MRE heater with water in it gently, and add the salt packet to the heater water it will get hot.
