  • My dad was in one of those jeeps in WW2. There is a documentary on how he came to join the SAS on a KZhead video under MyLastWord Arie Noot.

  • They convert a british airborne jeep to the SAS jeep. The pink land rovers was because they almost drove into a plane wreck in the dessert, the plane had been red but was bleached to pink by the sun, because of the pink colour it almost was invisible.

  • A US Army WWII jeep was found sunk in a canal in Metz, France in 1958 when the French Army explosives teams were clearing canals. After it was pulled out of the canal mud it was sunk into, they cleaned out the mud etc, pulled out its battery, put in a new one, and checked all the jeep parts etc.....it's tires were still inflated and other than needing lubrication, were okay. It was painted up with French Army markings, those covering the original US Army WWII ones.....the jeep became the "mobile-mascot" of the French Army Metz Divisional Commander and used in every military and civil parade in the Alsace-Lorraine District of France.

    • The BlackBrickStudios technically it's possible as a man from your country had a functioning panther and flak88 in an underground garage until 2017, he legally owned them but the government didn't like that so they took them away. He owned these for 20 years. All you have to do is build a garage and store your tiger there no one needs to know

Sadly, us "Yanks" are starting to experience what our forbearers sought to shake off when they left Mother Europe. Maybe there is something in our blood that needs thuggish government and simultaneously needs freedom?
