My dad, had a deep, professional respect for the German Paras. This was earned from his combat experience against them with the Canadian Army in Italy, France, Holland and Germany. He said they were magnificent soldiers and always put up one hell of a fight. He called them the cream of the German Forces, during the war.
Fuck up
They were war criminals ,asshat
@@rs6109 Whatever. You're a flat faced civvie, no doubt, who's never been a soldier, never been to war, and has no opinion that has merit in my eyes.
Sharksfan710 hey even the Americans committed war crimes.
@@rs6109 Some of these criminals even played football!
my grandfather was a para trooper and fought in the battle of monte cassino - he passed away 6 years ago.
Did he keep his uniform? You might be a rich man haha
They was not heavily armed. They was only dropped with a pistol and a combat knife. Their equipment was dropped shortly after they were
Smash they were not dropped after Crete
@@headlessguy8733 They were actually dropped after Crete, not often but for example around Leningrad during Operation Barbarossa, and in Sicily in 1943. Much of the combat footage from "the battle of Crete", was actually filmed in Sicily, but due to similar terrain it's often mixed with Crete.
@Smash Wrong after Krete the paratropers were only employed as ground troops.
thunberbolt two nah bro, he is right, german paratroopers were dropped after Crete. Potential History has a vid on it

The thing with the pants is true! my granddad used to wear his old WW2 pants and coat as hunting clothes up until the early 2000s (obviously wirthout all the symbols) when they were so worn down that he threw them away!
westfälischer Jung were the pants comfy to wear at least?
I did ww2 reenacting for a bit- the early war infantry trousers(the stone grey ones) were really comfortable And between wearing suspender(braces properly) the adjustable cinch points and a civilian belt They are decently comfortable, and true wool clothes ate extremly nice to wear as long as you're not allergic
Idk why this dude is considered an expert in army gear and war history. Out of 50 German marching and military songs maybe one or two were actually songs to sympathize with the nazis. Nearly all of the rest has roots in Prussia and was considered folk music then. Edit: most of the songs are still used in today's German military the Bundeswehr.
He is an expert! Tool
"Evil we are going to kill these people songs" Mate. What? Have Bruce ever listened to what most of German marching songs are about? Schöner Westerwald? Erika? Funkerlied? C'moon... Yes. Evil songs about women, dancing, love of home and Funkerlied is probs one of most "joyfull" sounding march lmao
No, like most Brits Bruce is a brainwashed Socialist with Nationalist tendencies, similar to the actual Nazis.
yeah the songs are almost exclusively about women, alcohol and the common soldier. Exceptions beeing things like "Deutschland Erwache" and the occasional leader glorification song
Pizza Zombie He’s nothing like an actual national socialist he a fucking boomer neocon at most
@Hugh Mongus it's kinda funny with a name like yours, you would choose to attack Simeon for Their username considering your username is a shit attempt at a big dick joke that died in 2015-16.
You can't forget lore my friend.
They had the coolest uniforms.. im baked
you can thank Hugo Boss for that :p
@@PitbullTerror88 yes, for producing them, but not for designing

To have a Fallschirmjäger set, in that condition, original. No price is to high honestly.. Stunning set and collection there
Sounds like someone never studied the ww2 German economy before making this episode
People just make shit up, now one is going to stand up for the Nate-Zees.
0:21 That was Max Schmeling training to be a paratrooper.
I remember hearing that his jump on Crete was meant to be used as propaganda, but by his own words, he didn’t do a lot.
Wow that’s interesting!
Bruce is a very lucky man to have acquired the fallschirmjäger kit loved this video
I knew a man who fought in Italy in World War Two. He was at Monte Cassino. Did not talk very much but did like to say how he brought home a bunch of German paratrooper kit. He wore the boots hunting after the war and they eventually fell apart. He also had two jump knives which ended being used as utility knives around the house.
Dutch accent is my favourite. Even if I was being robbed, I would be laughing! 😂
Enjoyed the video and gave a Thumbs Up
Solid deals solid value love it keep the historic matériel safe!
this dude is larger than life, so inspiring.
0:25 "An army of heavily armed blokes..." What? In 1940 they jumped *very lightly* armed, carrying little more than pistols, a few SMGs, and the occasional grenade. Canisters of slightly heavier weapons - essentially LMGs, rifles, satchel charges - were dropped at the same time. The FJs faced a two-fold challenge. First, they had to be able to collect their weapons from the canisters before the defenders fought them off. Then, lightly armed as they were, they had to be able to hold on until regular army units could reach them. Bruce's statement has a nice ring and makes for dramatic TV, but is utterly wrong!
For me, this the best find!
Christ, Dutchy saw him coming
Now that was an expensive meeting my friend.but WOW what a collection....
I could be wrong but the pictures of the German paratroopers at around 25 seconds appears to be boxer Max Schmelling.
You are correct.
Thanks, I'm not imagining things, then.
It was for propaganda use
Yes, Schmeling was not a nazi, and not a favorite of the regime (especially after he lost to Louis). When he was drafted they put him in one of the most dangerous branches they could think of.
@@suspiciousminds1750 He actually volunteered. There is no point to force a unwilling person to join an elite unit. As a boxer he refused to fir his Jewish manager, even when Adolf asked for it. He jumped at Crete, but was injured on landing.
Nice 👍🏻 love fallshrimjägers
"I'm a jaffa,I'm firing blanks" 😂😂😂
As in Jaffa oranges which are seedless. Hahaha amazing.
Nice, I wonder how big his collection is now.
I have a complete Fallschirmjager parachute, with harness, hammack, storage can, inventory packing card, shute contaner. Lt blue parachute packing card. All mint condition. I have had it for about 30 plus years, safely stored.
That is wonderful
I wish they would show the footage of him visiting the museum I work at in Arnhem, but my boss refused to sell anything to Bruce so they probably don't have any reason to show it.
More more more please!!!!!
Love combat dealers
A little snippet of " Pawn Stars " tossed in there as well.
AWESOME !!!!!
0:22 to 0.25 our worldchampion in boxing the great Max Schmeling.
My favourite German marching song is about buying drinks and flowers for girls lol
The Para helmet realy looks like a good copy !
Sure does. Wonder if he knows about Lot numbers......
@@MikeB128 I love your vids
I watch these videos with a smile. Indeed, all the values indicated are far from the market prices. What's funny is that either Bruce is the one who is being cheated or his client is. And then some of it is fake. To know one of the people who made a transaction in a video: nothing was concluded no money has circulated! This Bruce is a cheapskate

Uncle Albert went shopping
Was thinking the exact same 😂😂 RIP Buster Merryfield
Those compasses were used by other troops not just airborne. Not really very rare or hard to find, he paid about double or more what he could have got it for from eBay
Can anybody please tell me the name of the shop?
Those Germans had also thrown paratroopers into battle during the battle of Overloon. But there was really everything.
Insane
Hugo BoSS ist eben eine Klasse Marke ! Heute wie gestern!
@Quest TV Your description is wrong. Bruce travelled to Holland as per @ 0:45 not Germany.
does Bruce go to the trade shows, im sure he must of been to Malvern military show a few times, its a great day if you ever go to it. used to be run twice a year by graham and amanda from jeeparts who i know have sold but im not sure if he's still orgonising the shows.
Nice replicas
Ive got a ww2 Us paratrooper wrist compass too but I bought for £29
*INTERESTING RESEARCH CONCEPT. YOU HAVE TO GO WHERE THERE WERE THE MOST GERMAN PARATROOPERS*
wich episode and wich season is this?
These uniforms are amazing! Could anyone share me the exact location if that shop where Bruce got these German Fallsjäger uniform? Danke!
Anyone knows where this shop’s address in the Netherlands??
@@randyli918 google is your best friend :)
are you willing to pay those prices?
The German paratroops tied themselves in the trees during the battle for Overloon. Where that happened is now a zoo.
Never in his life did Fritz from (insert number) Fallschirmjager Division imagine that his uniform and gear would be worth THAT MUCH
Mooi spul heeft ie daar liggen
I'm off withfreddy to get some gear, and leave the twins to fix the hetzer!😁
Cool!
Wow I have some falshminjager stuff, I didn’t know it was that rare
An uncle of mine was a German para fought in Russia wounded and captured at st.Lo Normandy 1944.
Fallsmirjagers landed a lot off in Holland
Todos los días lo veo aquí en Tijuana a las 8pm en el canal 8.5 🤫
Too bad the fallschirmjager didn’t have any harnesses unlike pilots, so they couldn’t steer, also this dude is living the dream
Of course they had harnesses their parachute just didn’t have hand controls
without a harness, how was the parachute attached to the body?
Did you pronounced " Foul-sherm-yagers ?"
Why was the Buzzfeed Unsolved True Crime theme briefly playing?
Rarity maybe, nothing like owning battle issue and worn kit
You should go to Fort Knox to the Patton museum and offer them 40 grand for his pistol and uniform and see what they say lol.
0:22 Max Schmelling.
Sorry but the German march Erika is a beautiful and perhaps poetic song about flowers and a beautiful and sweet woman?
Would love a pair of pants for hiking purposes.
same you can get pretty durable army fatigues at military surplus places they look like normal pants and have big pockets and are way more durable
I want one
I want that Field Police neck guard
I seen one in breacon great nick 300 pound
Does this guy ever not shout?
If that helmet is genuine its worth I would say 8-10k.It has absolutely no wear or age to it like the Jump suit so I'm not convinced. He paid over the odds on the compass
Yeah this is a typical moron boomer with absolutely zero actual knowledge of this stuff.
Is this the way to Amarillo
Where does this man resells his stuff?
Most likely at auctions or when buyers come to him
To idiots who will pay his moonprizes nothing rare on this uniform a Knochenack ( jump suit) in this condition is much rarer but available for app 7 -8 grand with helmet and all the stuff
Because hes jewish and lives for the profits
0:21 - 0:25 Max Schmeling.
Does it have any fookin' laser sights?
Cheaper than supreme
Waar is dit in nederland
One thing the Americans adopted from the Fallshirmjager uniform was their wearing their combat boots with their dress uniform.
Airborne!
All the Way!
Dutch!
Well now we know he's "firing blanks" so lady's, nothing to worry about lol
How much for the helmet that’s the only piece I want
I am jelly.
"Nazi army songs are about people they hate and intend to kill" That doesn't seem right. My favorite song is called "Erika" and it's got nothing to do with hating people and killing them, it's a song about a girl named Erika and flowers. Westerwaldlied is about marching and how the wind blows so cold in the westerwald mountains. Is there anything wrong with that? No. The only "Nazi" song I've heard is SS marshiert in feindesland
Very true. If you dig into national socialism it does not evolve around hate. It is evolved around the love for ones people and country.
@@mikkel066h the german military songs that are about girls, love, and flowers all predate Nazi Germany. Nazism infact was about hate, superiority, destruction of others for the benefit of self.
@@mikkel066h lmao...kid, you are beyond delusional, i won't even waste my time arguing with you. You are a poster child neo nazi apologist. As far as arabs, blacks, asians and whoever else being in the whermacht....what percentage of the whermacht did they make up, and what percentage of their kind joined the germans? Find those numbers, then come back here.
Blacks, arabs and asians fought in the wehrmacht because germany was fucking desperate to win the unwinnable. "the jewish bankers started the war", i think i've heard enough; you're one of those niggas who recommend people to watch "the greatest story never told" lmfao. Fascism/Nazism is built upon a foundation of lies, a economy built upon surviving purely on plundering and pillaging and war, but, what makes fascism very relatable to a lot of people is that it gives a sense of brotherhood a false sense nonetheless.
And sung in der Hauptmann right before they were executed.
i now understand why they stopped using them look how they jump out that's a broken neck waiting to happen
“Heavily armed” lmao far from it
British: Baby girl. German: babushka shneizer
Wow thats crazy money id rather buy a fg42 for that money and still have some left over
German paratroopers were the best soldiers ans they had the most beautyful uniforms
Holland yes
that room is worth 100 thousend euros easily
Bruce, I wish you'd answer my question about the MG42.
I don't think he runs the channel lmao.
Also he'd be about the last person to give you a correct, non British boomer answer that is about 10 miles away from the actual facts. This guy's a moron.
First man out Max Schmelling!
Does the seller have a website?
Imcs militaria
Bro, the soviets were the first to experiment with airborne infantry, so the Germans were not the pioneers, second it was much before ww2 in the winter war in Finland that they were really used.
Did he just say he can lick the compass because he's a chaffer thats firing blanks.....lol
Max Schmeling....
YOU DONT ASK......YOU BUY, YOU JUST BUY...😾
The prices are wrong with this program
A freeby I should hope so, after Bruce spent £30k on a rare as hens teeth German Para uniform
I think its pretty damn impressive that Bruce preserves every bit of history that he can, Allied or German. Listening to some twits whine that you cant preserve this or that because its hateful, is downright ignorant. Preserve all history
*BRUCE DOESNT PRESERVE ANYTHING. HE BUYS IT AND RESELLS IT. NOTICE WHEN "PROFIT" IS CALCULATED? IT MEANS ITEMS WILL BE "SOLD" NOT PRESERVED*
@@PostUp_Time I'd say you aren't correct. You overlook a lot in your weak quest to trash my comment. Tiny home ,tiny mind
I’m drooling over that Koninklijke Landmacht uniform. How much would something like that be?
Fuck that i want some fallschirmjager uniform
I'm not sure but here's an estimation from what I've seen them go for. The helmet would go for around 250, the blouse for about 500 and the the trousers for around 300. The belt and pouches together would go for around 300. So I'd say that the entire uniform would go for around 1350 Euros. These prices are based on what I've seen them go for on Dutch sites such as Marktplaats so outside of the Netherlands they will go for much more. The prices could also differ allot depending on the condition of the items.
