Today, I'm challenging the world-famous pole dancer, Anastasia Sokolova, to try calisthenics. I've prepared five different calisthenics movement , ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Let's see if she can perform a handstand or a planche.

  • I had a unique experience in my life. For 1 year I carried plasterboards up the stairs and difficult places to access, sometimes impossible to get to with machinery. The technique was quite strange at first, you'd lean a board against your back, grab it with both arms by the sides and go up the stairs and at the end to get through doorways you'd have to flip it so it's horizontal while grabbing it again with both hands and balance it. It's insane how much strength I gained from doing that 5 days a week for a year. After only 1 month I was carrying 2 plasterboards on my back and up the stairs ( for reference that is 60 to 70kg ). Doing like 30-40 trips with that weight per day. At the end of the 1 year when I actually quit because I was starting to get bone aches and I though I've had enough, I was able to carry 3-4 boards at one time ( that is around 110kg ) up 3-4 flights of stairs. Now I'm 37 and I'm 90kg of power, everything is just so easy now, I feel like that experience changed the game for me.

      @MathRiffGaming@MathRiffGaming6 ай бұрын

    • holding onto the bars makes it much harder than just balancing on your hands, especially after different workouts. I was heartbroken because I loved it so much and felt so strong doing it. I got into a workout slump because going to the gym was so depressing, but then I learned about calisthenics :) It honestly reminds me of pole and lyra in so many ways. So many of the moves are similar or even the same like skin the cat, meathook, etc. even the way he pulled up and then flipped himself onto the bar was exactly the way I mounted the hoop! • Honestly, a great example of a well balanced feminine physique. Pronounced abs, visible biceps and quads, yet still a healthy amount of fat for a womans body, making for them tasty curves🍰 I hope society keeps moving in that direction as far as our "beauty standards"

  • Poor guy on the background, is so patient... He wants to train calisthenics and chill, but he is haunted by the camera lens LUL

  • She’s an incredible and I mean incredible athlete. If you asked the top Olympic athletes (say best 100 meter athletes) to do the same they’d not do better or if better by not that much. Say maybe 8 more push-ups but maybe less pull ups. Not shading Olympians just placing her in the elite company that she deserves

    • It's obvious but an elite pole dancer should perform better than an Olympic sprinter in calisthenics with the overlap

    • im confused, we are talking about 2 completely unrelated sports. I mean there are some ripped sprinters but I mean its a running sport not a arm sport.
