  • I love how Dave speaks in a way that in Russian there is an expression: "Start from a far". He starts talking about topic, goes long way and different roads, links many stories that you think are not related to it, and at the end is like unexpected eureka moment where he makes conclusion and all stories are kind of linked together to one spot and make sense.

  • Choe is the man. He had an art show, The Choe Show, in Koreatown that you had to apply to get into, then you got to go for free. He basically turned an entire office building into an art installation. Everyone was broken up into groups, put on painters suits, and had a tour guide. I cant even begin to desribe how amazing and life-changing it was. Each floor of the building, including the roof was a completely different themes, all executed in amazing detail. There were live 3-D holograms, a choir, actors reciting lines throughout the tour, the craziest paintings and art pieces all over the place. I honestly cant even comprehend how much I saw in those 3 hours. There were no phones allowed. I will never forget David singled me out of my group and took me over to a sink where an elderly Korean man and Choe himself started washing my hands, bothing wearing diapers, whilst asking me very emotional questions. I wish he would do it again so more people could experience it, it was incredible. Such an underrated talent and human being.

  • I saw the Choe Show after Denzel Curry retweeted and replied about a tweet about the show, I loved it so much. The vulnerability and openness is what I want to apply to my life.

  • I'm only 22 and I've been having back and neck and jaw tightness ever since around May of this year! Done PT and myofunctional therapy and yet I wake up almost every day still feeling that tension, no good explanation from the therapists either. But around two weeks ago I noticed the 'Healing back pain' book David was talking about on my shelf because I had apparently bought it like two years ago and so I started looking into TMS and I decided to just try to work on giving myself the space to let my emotions come up and to just accept them. It has only been a couple weeks but my back is doing better since I have accepted that it is likely trapped emotions manifesting as muscle tension. It is honestly crazy to me that David is talking about all this now as I'm just getting started trying to release some of this stress, I think I'm on the right path, I appreciate you David!

  • David Choe's an amazing podcast guest. Steve-O's Wild Ride!, JRE, Tigerbelly, etc. This was a great episode. Got me super stoked to watch The Choe Show! Also, it was awesome to see Steve-O and the crew so mesmerized by David! Steve-O loves to cut in and tell stories, which is part of why I love him, it just works, but he sat there like a damn disciple while Choe was talking!
