  • Back in 2002, none of us ever would've even imagined that Marvel films would eventually build an incredibly vast and large live-action universe of films, with interconnected titles and entire overarching sagas. Let alone the fact that this very same Peter Parker would eventually join the other two since this trilogy, crossing over from DIFFERENT CINEMATIC UNIVERSES, to become a part of that same world Marvel Studios has been building since 2008. No Way Home was a masterpiece and only served to make the Sam Raimi trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man duology even better than they already were. It felt great to see Tobey in the suit again.

    • As absurd as it is to fight with random strangers on the internet, I feel like I have to contradict you. As a cinefile, I have to say No Way Home is so far from being a masterpiece. It's not even the best Marvel film. It was a pretty stock standard action film (with an over reliance on cgi), that leant heavily on nostalgia. In my opinion, if you somehow removed this nostalgia element from the film, would people rave about it? I doubt it. The end scene as well, was the most generic flying through the sky cgi fight like the ending of tons of 2000s films. Sure, this film had nice story beats ( at parts) and but I think into the Spiderverse is a wildly better film in both craftsmanship and enjoyment. In summary, not a masterpiece. Not a terrible film but something in between. But hey, I'm just a random dude on the internet. xo

  • I never noticed how right after the bite, as he holds up his hand the screen behind him basically shows DNA swirling into his hand. It looks very deliberate and cool. Raimi is a master and I’m so excited for Dr Strange MoM!

  • Honestly, Rami had the best introduction to Spider-Man getting his powers; Tom's still my favourite Spidey, but you cannot beat the classic Rami style of these movies.

  • This scene left both physical and traumatizing scars on me. When I saw this scene for the first time in 2002, I was 5 years old. This was my first time seeing a spider that close to me, so naturally I got scared. I jumped out of my seat to hide under it, but I ended up slamming my left hand on a sharp piece of metal from my chair and cut my hand twice. I've been terrified of spiders ever since. Still love this movie though lol
