Battlefield 2042's new Redacted map holds some clues for what we might face on Halloween for the game's spooky new mode. I explored the map a bit, and DICE has the new narrative in high gear. It's gonna be interesting.

An official PVE mode would be great! I really enjoy Portal and the various zombie/AI game modes when i just feel like chilling, like COD zombies, Halo Firefight, or Battlefront 2s Co-op mode. They are like the glue keeping those games together!
Honestly the specialists are op so introducing the cybernetic soldiers who could be tanky doesn’t sound that bad.

Everyone is using the 12m auto. It's the Redacted meta. Like the USAS 12 in Bf4.
Called console they get reduced recoil on all guns...
I'm on redacted right now playing solo, and I listened to some of the ambience. At the A1 flag there's a passage that leads to a hallway with a bunch of garbage and body bags and a small door labeled "caution". I'm sitting here right next to the caution door right now with earbuds in, and I'm 100% hearing a dog barking. If anyone wants to check it out and see if you hear the same thing that would be great!

You got me excited for what’s to come! I took a break while they rehashed content and when I came back… it’s good but doesn’t hold my attention as it use to. But this potential mode and map are perfect together 🙌 hope they don’t let us down

I'd like we will get cyborgs or robotic enemies of sorts. Kinda want a new drone type from it but I'm always hoping for more drones since we only have the dog at the moment. Let's see what they're cooking in the kitchen.
I think you seem to forget that Shutdown (S4 event gamemode) also had map changes to accommodate new spawns and objectives. Even new maps added with Redux (like Arica) had changes. Dice aren't THAT lazy. Especially since they were heavily criticized for S2 and S3 gamemodes Also CQ Assault has been in the game since S3

I think the robot things are the player card you get for buying the battle pass
That my biggest fear battlefield losing it fundamental and becoming like cod which i cant stand and im slowly feeling that way about bf now. I haven't even touched season 6 and i juat dont get thw same enjoyment as i did from past titles in 2042.
Tbh that already happened with the gameplay changes. The game lost its trademark heavy feeling. Movement is floaty now and the slide is like Apex
@@LateNightHalooh I know I agree 100 percent. Specialist like cod and apex with abilities the movement is just like cod. The destruction somehow took many steps back. The weather in past titles looked more real as well. They took a hard gritty historical accurate to a degree war fps and turned it into a game that isn't battlefield but more so like cod to draw the fan base from that game over as well. Epic failure for 2042 plus to be honest clearly the dev team isn't that great and are rookies due to the horrible map designs doesn't even look that detailed.
Can you cover the possibility of new seasons via the Amazon prices that has been shown with a specific schedule?
Based on the narrative, I think the seasons aren't ending any time soon.
@@Flakfire I hope you are right because it’s weird that they’re really pushing for the narrative around these season with S5 and S6 so it would be weird to stop now but they did it with BfV (wasted potential if you ask me) but yeah I hope it gets more time and updates like you say

Why do they keep giving us garbage we didn’t ask for lmao? Nobody asked for this, we don’t want zombies, we don’t want cyborgs. We want more then one new map every 6 months, and more then 2 guns.
Couldn't they just give us a more traditional, soldier driven Battlefield? This Call of Duty wannabe, zombie stuff is just pure nonsense in a Battlefield game.😒

They only charge you for the skins though? new guns, vehicle, and map are free
@@TacticalBaguettemaking 1 map and adding 1 vehicle shouldn't be a big deal like they are making it . Making a whole season just for that lol. Like that will bring back the playerbase back up again.
@@killamunster555 I'm not saying that the 1 map per season is fine but at the very least they aren't making you pay for it. At this point they definitely need to start adding more than 1 per season
