  • Chris Ballard conducted two master classes this weekend: 1)- Targeted explosiveness and blockers to protect Anthony Richardson; 2)- His naughty language rant in defense of his guy (Adonai Mitchell) demonstrated how to support your guys. Players love playing for him and Steichen. What a 3 days !!

  • Masterclass indeed! Ballard really did it this time. Made me sweat it out for Adonai but that trade back and still landing him was something else. Great Work! We made out so much better going this route instead of drafting BTJ in the first. This was the right move considering Adonai I think might be better than BTJ anyhow. You don't get star pass rushers ever except very high in drafts usually top 5. This is just facts!

  • I love the optimism but the only way this draft is a success is if we go out and get a veteran corner between now and preseason. This defense over the past three years has struggled in their pass defense. We had a chance improve the secondary with the number one pick, but we chose to add to a strength as we added to a D-Line that set a record in sacks last year plus everyone is back. I don’t care about the injury for Latu but with the Eagles taking the two players that were projected to us at 15 the most, I hope we don’t regret picking the best man available vs picking the best man for a position of need.

    @davidmccaw1454@davidmccaw145413 күн бұрын
    • You can blame the corners, which I agree maybe a vet would help, but it's also a product of the defense Gus Bradley runs. Bend, but don't break defense. Send 4 and do not give up The big play is Gus's philosophy. We have some pretty solid corners on the roster, but they have to keep their assignments coached by Gus.

      @ImThatGuy02@ImThatGuy0213 күн бұрын
    • @@ImThatGuy02 I agree and the corners are only as good as our front line is since they can’t “guard” a guy for five seconds. With that said in the last game, which was a home game, vs our in divisional rival we got torched by a rookie QB. Hell the first play of their offense, Collins beat the CB and safety never played over the top. Injuries hurt us there last year but in the 2023 draft we passed on the two top CB (from Oregon and Illinois) which was a need as we let Gilmore go before the draft. This year we do the same. I hope it doesn’t bite us.

I don’t know why y’all think that our offensive line was amazing. It was OK better than the year before. I’m still not satisfied with that offensive line, I want the offensive line to be like it used to be when we had the best offensive line about 2-3 years ago, relax with this cornerback shit I’m pretty sure he has something in mind he drafted 2 safety and yall still complaining like my God. This colts fans fanbase is ridiculous.

    • Don’t get me wrong I agree with y’all that we do need to address the cornerback situation. I agree but y’all seen last night we drafted two safety. I’m just saying let’s just see what Chris do during the new league year season right now until training camp. Let’s see what Chris Ballard do There still a lot of veteran cornerbacks out there and I do believe he will sign one us as fans we need to chill and see what’s going to happen . I’m not really a Chris Ballard fan, but he did great this draft.

    • @@ryontajames4108 don’t get me wrong either as I agree with the Mitchell pick and don’t mind the center from Wisconsin as the interior is where we struggled the past two years. Plus there is no guarantee a first round is going to be better than a fifth or seventh rounder. However the draft is a bet on the odds. Like picking a lineup in baseball the draft is about picking the best player at a position of need that gives you the greatest odds of succeeding. Two fifth round safeties and six round CB do not provide better odds than a first round safety or CB. This is the reason that I think Ballard has something else in mind especially with the added cap space from Buckner’s deal. I hope that’s the case to really make this draft a success

Listen Right do you watch college football or you just off what the analyze or analyst say on tv first and foremost AD Mitchell was a steal of the draft. He was a top 5 receiver in the nation if not top 3. Stacked up on defense when he drafted Latua at 15th we needed an another wide receiver that can line up with Michael Pittman. He drafted a offensive lineman, and then y’all was complaining about getting a safety or somebody in the secondary he drafted 2 safety. This man has a plan. Y’all acting like the season start next week it’s still a couple free agents veterans out there. He still can sign after the draft. You don’t think he didn’t do well tell me what did he do wrong?
