  • Out of all the videos I looked up to dye your interior you are the only one I have seen that actually didn't make it complicated or that I have to go out and buy expensive tools thank you very much for keeping it simple and understanding great video.

  • You were getting those runs on your adhesion promoter because you had the gun set up incorrectly! You're supposed to open the fan and adjust your material. Very easy to get a nice even layer even with that cheap gun. Adjust air flow, adjust your fan, and also your material and you get nice even coats. When I saw you do the same thing with the actual base color, it was a cringe moment for me! Cool vid though!

    • Hey there, thanks for letting me know. I only used the gun I think twice before I took this video. In regards to the runs, I just wiped anything away that didn’t look right before it dried and it was perfect at the end. Since it’s a dye it’s sort of like “self leveling” in that the end finish did not show the runs since it soaks in

  • The dye looks good but if you do not add a crosslinker you will not have any chemical resistance . For instance if you take 91 % alcohol and wipe it over the surface or even hand sanitizer the color will come off . So using professional products would make that job last a lot longer

    • Yes, I would mostly agree but I would also like to mention that this dye is very forgiving and comes with a sponge to be used as the applicator for anyone who doesn’t use a spray gun. If you do give this a try you’ll notice the dye soaks in and doesn’t really streak (except maybe in extreme cases)
