I love watching stuff I can't afford to do! Seriously an incredible job to everyone involved, and as always a great job by Larry on the video and the effort that he puts into his productions.
You can do the same thing with $40 of duplicolor vinyl dye It's just that people would rather complain and be lazy instead 🤷♀️
Perfect color choice for that car! I have always been fascinated with the leather repair process.
Definitely goes well together
No
@The Legend of Texas Not in Texas it isn't you'll have burnt ass in no time.
Colm Farrel That is why they now have Cool Touch vinyls in the marine industry. Good looking materials.
Detail Peoria God damn, I can’t take my eyes off this, I just absolutely love this level of perfection. If I had the funds, I’d only go to this guy, Brian is clearly a perfectionist like myself. You know you wouldn’t have to worry about anything with a job carried out by him. If only 5% of tradesmen had his skill and professionalism, world would be a way better place. Great car by the way. 👍
That is a phenomenal transformation. The attention to detail done by the dying team is incredible, seems very much worth the money.
They didn’t do the pullhandle bruh they probably didn’t even do the light fixtures
The amount of time and people involved? Add all that up to a total $ amount?
@@FueledBy.Passion their work is great just doesn’t seem very cost effective when you could buy a used interior in the color you want for probably less.
Perfectly done. Brian should have a tv show of his own, refurbishing older cars. Nobody has a show like that yet that I have seen. Since Brian is a BMW trained engineer, it won't take long for him to make the transformation to other cars. Great job Brian. I think wealthy car owners would give Brian plenty of work to start out with. Before long, he would get the regular person business. Good video, good technique, excellent craftmanship. We all know how important craftmanship is, even though it is a word never used in todays workplace in America. It is the one thing that made American made items stand out and I was taught to make everything that I did with masterful craftmanship. Now days, people want everything fast, and they get mad when it falls apart in 3 months. You always get what you ask for, but rarely what you pay good money for. Oh well ! easy come and easy go.
All you need is $5000 worth of equipment, a complete staff of 4 or more people and you too can dye your interior. Here's how.
😂
Lol 😂 I know right
Oh I agree. Have you seen his video of painting the 911? He has an OCD
😂🤣....i was thinking the same...
I know right! Not a budget friendly DIY
Noticed that the door seals, grab handles, and visors are still beige. Those would look good in black to match the headliner and complete this high-end transformation
good eye :D
ohmfab true!.. good eye
The owner is finding them in black. Some items should not be dyed for longevity.
@@fibrenewnorthraleighwakefo6420 Ah ok, thought you missed a spot :D
Can’t unsee it
Truly magical, what a fantastic and thorough transformation, really well done to Brian and his team. This has got to be one of the best videos I have seen on here. Amazing.
As a former owner of several E34s I was very excited to see one featured on the channel. They drive so well in stock form, I only imagine what an S62 V8 from an E39 M5 will do to improve upon that experience. Beautiful work and a gorgeous car.
This is just a *KZhead* video, I can watch it 100% free on Chromecast! Yet Larry's editing and production is done better than any cable channel I pay for every month.. It is definitely a labor of love. Thanks Larry!
You can watch for free but he still get paid. That's what I love about KZhead!
Agreed on the production quality. Disagree on the 100% free, but that's because I'm a Red subscriber. Probably cost me about one-eighth of a cent, based on how many hours I spend watching the KZhead.
Damn. This is a beautiful creation. Madd props to the owner.
TommyLYeah - Darkwraith Kaid God damn, I can’t take my eyes off this, I just absolutely love this level of perfection. I watched this when it was released, and this week I've been dying my F01 7er to BMW saddle brown in the technique that they used. So far, it is looking absolutely beautiful!
Omggggg, Mannnn, such a tds job, which requires, knowledge, time, money and patience is needed. Salute to you guys for consisting it all. Hope you guys got well compensated for this project.
i ve never detailed a car in my life, but i ve watched almost all of Larry's videos. truly a master at his craft. its always invigorating to see people strive for perfection!! thank you Larry.
I can’t imagine this being a cheaper route than upholstery. You got a whole team doing so and so much more steps
So much more steps ? They don’t even have to sew nor take the covers off
Incredible workmanship. Incredible attention to detail. LOVED this video.
That interior looks absolutely gorgeous.
Regardless of whether you like the color or the amount of labor, the actual skill of these people is nothing short of amazing. Very impressive

Having a V70R with the Atacama interior i love this!
I didn't think I would like the finished product then I saw how well the color scheme came together and it looks fantastic. The leather looks showroom new!
I live in the Raleigh, and I am quite familiar with Brian's work. A few months ago I was fortunate enough to track down and purchase (gain) the exact, beloved 1 Series I had owned from 2013 - 2016. During our apart, efforts were made to mask the wear and tear of the Lemon Boston leather interior. I first met Brain through the local BMW Car Club of America Tarheel Chapter. "Fastidious" is definitely the word I was use to describe Brian Marks, the owner of Fibrenew. When Brain told me his goal is to "turn out a quality end result that I feel good about and that you'll be proud to have in your car," I knew I had found the right person for the job. This video accurately demonstrates the quality of work offered my Brain at Fibrenew.
I always enjoy seeing how the pro's do it. Before this video, I had no idea that owners would choose to change their car's interior color. Pretty interesting tech.

So happy to see this up. It was amazing to work with Larry and see his process. Super guy. Would shoot video with him again! Cheers everyone!
Larry needs to pin this comment so it doesn't get missed! :) Great work, absolute pleasure to watch this.
@@promethbastard Thank you! Only Larry could have shown the process in such a succinct and thorough manner. His video skills are serious.
Great job! One question I have, how has the smell of the interior changed with all the work you guys have done? Does it smell similar to a new car, or is it more of a fresh smell compared to the original 20+ year old interior?
spartan sui I’ve answered this a few times in other comments
Amazing work! I used to live in the Raleigh area. I have a Z4M I am restoring. It has Napa leather that needs refinishing and I am liking this color. Will be sending you pictures.
Give me this car im in love with it😭

Amazing work, no matter what you think of the color or car it’s just a beautiful transformation
Well said.
Best interior color change on a vehicle video on KZhead. Thanks
That's great looking work. I'd love to see more like this on the Ammo channel, complementary trades and crafts that go into the car restoration process. It makes Ammo a one stop shop for more than just paint prep and finish. 😉

cant wait to paint my deck in leather

I have a friend who does this as a business. Does very high quality work (like these guys) and services mostly the trade (trim shops and car dealers). It's very time consuming and expensive work to do properly but with the right operator the results are amazing. Great video.
Results are fantastic, colour is amazing, great job!
Really nice work, and excellent attention to detail. Definitely a special clientele. I work with a similar clientele when building racecars. Great video!
this is so nice and finally someone gives e34 some love

Wow! That e34 looks insane! The e46 and e39 m5 also! Been waiting for this video a while

I love that color scheme. Absolutely beautiful build.
it looks absolutely gorgeous, loved the end product, definitely one of my favorite colors for a car interior
Mines too..but what's the color called
Great video - I live about 90 minutes from Raleigh so you all were in my "back yard." I need to do a little leather color touch-up on a car I have so now I'm encouraged to get it done!

@@fibrenewnorthraleighwakefo6420 how much will it cost to do cinnamon & black to my Escalade?
This was awesome and a highly professional job. I was looking for more diy but I really enjoyed the outcome.
Awesome to see the repair process and a good part of the validation process in deciding to purchase one.
I’m a leather technician based in the south east of England, this looks like really high quality work, I’m not sure where people got $10k from but I’d be looking at around £1500-2000 to do this, it would take around a week for 1 person and it definitely does not peel off if the prep has been done correctly
Wow! This car looks amazing with OEM finish. Excellent work.
Professional work!!!!!
Love the fact that can last for many years...amazing work !!
I got an e39 M5 myself ! And this is absolutely AWESOME JOB 👍👍👍
I love the color. The finished product looks amazing
i say good color!
Wish we could see the customer's reaction. That was a pretty amazing change.
OWNER IS PISSED OFF THOSE RETARDS..TOTALLY RUINED HIS BEAUTIFUL GARAGE DOOR AND CABINETS WITH OVER SPRAY ALL OVER.
gojoeyr What are you on about? 🤣
gojoeyr no overspray on anything. It solidifies instantly. The shop is mine and does not belong to the owner of the car.
So happy to come across this. Thanks, Larry! Hope you&family doing well.
As a previously owned a 95 Volvo 850 Turbo driver, It is extremely satisfying to see this kinda of car interior restoration
I have my land rover discovery 3 to redue the leather due to previous owners neglecting the leather care. I now feel more confident in tackling this big job.but have no garage to work in so i am governed by the british weather. Thank you for this very informative video. Learnt a lot. Jason. Boston. Uk.
Buy new upgraded parts such as seats, consoles and carpet along with a steering wheel and sunvisors.I did my whole car with new parts and Corbeau seats,Momo steering wheel,carpets..The whole interior for just over $527 US..Dont get screwed over by these companies. I JUST WON a a paint and interior show with the car.I was a Automotive paint Sales Rep and had a $5000 paint job for under $1000 U.S. Its all about knowledge and who you know..Do your research..Plus look at the mileage one yiur Rover and we both know higher mileage Rovers have MAJOR ISSUES..Might be time to simply move on..Good luck!!

Damn been waiting for this to pop up :) I remember seeing this on ig. Brian does amazing work.
Amazing color
I don't care what other people say I think this job is so perfect ,brilliant I love it 👏👏👏👏
6:40 That m5 touring😍😍😍😍
Wow, that end result is gorgeous!
brian does amazing work from what i see on our bmw group.
Great job nice workmanship
Well done Brian!
This is the best thing ever! I wanted to dye my corvette to that adrenaline red and its super expensive to replace it!! Thank you so much ammo nyc!!
I'd be willing to bet that a full reupholstered interior with new leather is going to be cheaper than dyeing your used interior. Not to mention reupholstered leather would hold up better than dyed leather to scratches and such.
I have this colour interior in my bmw as well and i didn't knew that you can paint leather, amazing video and the car looks brand new, all the money and efforts are worth it 😍
Glad I found this. Awesome. I'll likely use these guys for my 2017 Mini convertible with ALL black interior. I want my seats to look like the OEM Chesterfield Brown, with door armrests, and small dashboard horizontal board the same. Getting OEM replacements from MINI is ridiculous cost wise of course.
Wow, what a fantastic job and a beautiful result!
Awesome, super in-depth video as always. Seeing the interior come together was like automotive therapy!
People commenting are forgetting that this can all be done on a tight budget at home, it will just take longer. The more time, effort and patience you put in the better your results will be. I only have thought about this since restoring my leather steering wheel at home with a cheap ebay kit. I followed the instructions perfectly, took my time and the results were so good I realised that I could restore my whole interior myself and achieve a near professional finish! I've now decided to change the colour too!
They did absolutely amazing on this holy cow!!!
That looks amazing! Much better than the boring black interiors. Hate black interiors! Every time I enter my car, it makes me gloomy and depressed. It’s like a dark cave. The lighter colours are so much fresher and airier.
6:44 that E39 looks pretty damn good
I like this customers taste. That E34 looks awesome interior wise
Fantastic video. I'm not crazy about the choice of colours but I love the concept. Thanks for this.
I was curious to see how much would this cost on a 2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV with tan interior I love the interior of this BMW
An S62 in that body is going to be a lot of fun. Great how to video as always. Thank You.
Awesome video that e34 is amazing looking!
To have this as a option for a builder or restorer is spot on. Very nice.
The details at the roof, sunvisor and others, they not get repair? I think they gone use the new color or Black to match the project. Great vídeo as always.
outstanding results! The amount of work and people involved suggests that this would cost at the very very least 5k........!
Darkstarr One I bet! Too many skilled people involved. It would be cheaper to find a donor car and swap the interior.
Great restore Larry and trim guru’s..amazing
I respect the owner really knowing exactly what he wanted. Must cost a fortune.
What a fantastic video and process. I live in Raleigh and had no idea this existed. I have contacted them immediately for a repair on my Audi S4 interior. Thanks so much for these. :)
Nothing short of amazing.....love from the uk 🇬🇧
Excellent team, very professional work. Well done.
Hello From Qatar! And thank you so much for your helpful information...
Wow! This was a fantastic transformation. The BMW is super sick
Love your passion man! Awesome work!
That's a beautiful E34! And I bet a monster with that S62 in it.
I would like to know how that holds up. update in a couple of moths?
It’s an old BMW, so it’s probably been scrapped by now. Jk, that’s just a myth based around people who can’t properly maintain their cars.
the interior will hold up like oem, BUT, the painted stitching sucks
@Zajaka Complete bull. I've redyed interiors with plain semi gloss acrylic+ air brush, it doesn't scratch or come off. Whomever did yours had no idea what they were doing. OE seats are dyed with acrylics... Or used the wrong paint. Acrylic flexes with the leather, doesn't even crack
when done like this it will last quite a few years.
It should hold up just like OE. All leather upholstery you see are dyed just like this from factory, unless you've seen a cinnamon red cow running around. I painted mine with rattle can and held up ok for 3 years...now it looks like crap.
10:45 the guy on the left loves the spraying so much he moves with it.
I see this car quite often, this interior still looks great!
The colour is amazing. Great job
I was just shopping around to upholster my cars seats & paint interior, don't need repairing I just wanted to change the color to give it a more modern look, so this is perfect! Thanks for sharing!
But what kind of dye was used? Any examples for companys producing them? I'd really love to recreate the E500 Limited seat-pattern with this technique.
Try leatherique
right, they list everything but that
Viper
I can't wait hopefully to get my car. I'll call you guys up. I love that color seats, cinnamon. Aura 2012 MDX
absolutely phenomenal result!
Larry legend! 💪
I had no idea this was something that could be done. Might look into this sort of thing on my next car as it only offers two colors of leather interior and I don't care for either.
Great work guys, looks beautiful 😍
Fascinating. Can't believe I watched the entire thing. 👍
I think it looks great. My question is how the seat comfort is given the cars age and how the foam in the seat was.
Those E34 seats are generally very good in those respects. Specifically those were the 'sport' seats, and are harder to find without worn side bolsters (especially the drivers side), but the underpinnings (foam and structure) are usually not any problem at all. :)
Eric K is correct. They felt amazingly good for older seats
@@fibrenewnorthraleighwakefo6420 - you saw my comment! :) I'll go ahead and mention that I will eventually be bringing you some business very similar to this video. I have a red E34 very much like this one (minus the M5 engine), and I love the way this turned out. I already have the black interior, but I'd like to go two tone with BMW's Fox Red for seats and accents. :) When the time comes, you're my go-to. It will be a year or so though, due to other projects.
I would love to see how this interior has held up over the course of 3 years
Looks great. The color combo is perfect!
love how well that came up - fantastic.
Do love a meticulous mind who strives for perfection
