    • @@roywiseman Go look up the origin of the term "cultural Marxism" and how it is basically an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory peddled by the far-right for decades and now made mainstream within the GOP after Trump came to power. "Cultural Marxism" is a commonly used term that says that every institution in the US has been infiltrated by Marxists. It directly comes from the term used by the Nazi Party in Germany called "cultural Bolshevism." The only difference between this and the full white nationalist conspiracy theory is that white nationalists say the Jews are behind it while mainstream Republicans don't really believe that. Look at Black Pilled YT channel and the man behind it, Devon Stack. Look at his book "Day of the Rope." He's a full fledged neo-Nazi, and his book is just a re-write of the "Turner Diaries." Look up The Red Elephants' interview with Devon Stack and how they talk like buddies. Look up Black Pigeon Speaks and see him recommend Devon Stack's YT channel. Look at all the similarity between literal neo-Nazi propaganda and what now passes as mainstream ideas within the Trumpist GOP on shows like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson. Isn't it weird how George Soros is suddenly the scape goat for everything now? Isn't it weird that a lot of Trump supporters praise Vladimir Putin because "he's a traditionalist and staunch champion of Christianity?" Isn't it weird that Putin hates Soros and had a conversation with Trump about him in Helsinki? So why is there a pro-Putin message and anti-Soros message now? Isn't it weird that Trump says not to trust the media, even Fox News now apparently? If we can't trust the press, who can we trust? Who becomes the arbiter of truth? Trump? Isn't that a bit self-serving? Look up the "Rope. Tree. Journalist" shirt that has been seen multiple times at Trump rallies, and NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING TO THEM ABOUT IT. It is a literal incitement to violence, and if it ever came to pass would be the death knell for any semblance of the American Republic. Open your eyes and see what these people are really about. It should make you feel physically ill what is going on. Trump is setting in motion what he needs to obtain absolute power in the country, and his most ardent supporters are already suggesting that Trump should get a 3rd or 4th term to make up for the impeachment. Doesn't that sound self-serving and dangerous? It sure as hell does sound that way to me.

    • It's also worth noting that an experiment done in NJ regarding adding low-income housing to a suburban neighborhood found that there was no difference in property values or crime rates. The idea that a small amount of low-income housing being added to a nice neighborhood is bad for the neighborhood as opposed to being good to the families who move in is bullshit. Economic opportunity is frequently gated by location.

      @douglasbaker9663@douglasbaker96633 жыл бұрын
    • @@douglasbaker9663 capitalism makes no statement of regulations or what services a government renders, it is solely about how the "means of production" are distributed and owned, aka who is allowed to create a business, run a business and profit from it. In monarchies it was always the king, maybe handing out monopolies, in capitalism it is private citizens. What Americans actually embrace is real anarchism which is no regulations which leads to the rich and powerful being able to rule and live splendidly while the rest of society can go get screwed. Healthcare in germany is not even a left wing issue. It was introduced by an autocratic monarchist to make workers stay away from socialism and reasoned it based on Christian values of love thy neighbor towards his conservative friends.

Then, the would-be interviewer would address the audience and say, "sorry about that folks, we'll try to get someone on who actually has knowledge about the situation."

Money that was gained by his father being a slumlord and committing multiple crimes. • *Hey guys, the things are as fucked up as they are, because our government is corrupt af and has stopped working for the American People decades ago!* *If we wanna fix this, we gotta liberate our government from the corrupt! Here's how we do that:* *1. Register yourself to vote* (if you haven't already)! *2. Educate yourself about who is up for (re)election!* Educate yourself whether there are progressives running for government positions in your state! The best way to do this, is to subscribe to KZhead channels like 'Secular Talk', 'The Humanist Report', 'TYT', 'The Benjamin Dixon Show', 'The Hill', etc.! The hosts of these channels are fed up with our corrupt politicians that created the system that isn't working for the majority of the American People! They're fighting the corrupt (the establishment of the Democratic Party and the Republikkkan Party)! *Shouldn't there be a progressive* running for important government offices in your state, *run yourself or convince someone who is smart and compassionate to run for office!* Just a little reminder... AOC had been a bartender and waitress before she ran for the House of Representatives! If she could do it, so can you! *3. Support Progressives!* Progressives like Bernie Sanders, Ilhan Omar, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, etc., didn't sell themselves to the wealthy. They're fighting against corruption and they're fighting for us, whereas the Corporate Democrats (the Pelosis, the Bidens, the Clintons, the Obamas, etc.) and the Republikkkans (#MoscowMitch, the Trumps, the Grahams, Ted Cruz, etc.) exclusively serve the wealthy! Progressives are fighting for Medicare for all, tuition free Colleges (things that Swedes, Norwegians, Germans, Finns and the Danish already enjoy for decades)! In addition, Progressives want to give us a green new deal, good paying jobs, clean water and clean air. Over all, Progressives want to create an economy that works for all Americans, not just the wealthiest 1%! *4. Donate to Progressives (if you're able to)!* Unlike the Corporate Democrats (the likes of Obama, Clinton, Biden, Pelosi, etc.) and the Republikkkans (#MoscowMitch, the Trumps, the Grahams, Ted Cruz, etc.), Progressives don't accept money from big corporations or the wealthy (like Jeff Bezos, the last remaining Koch brother, Mike Bloomberg, etc.)! They only accept small donations from us (the American people)! *5. Volunteer for Progressives!* Go to your communities and educate them (especially the elderly) about progressives! Democratic propaganda platforms, like CNN and MSNBC won't cover them! Or if they do, they won't give progressives fair coverage, but they'll frame progressives as some radical socialists and point at Venezuela! They do that, because if Progressives take over our government, big corporations like CNN, MSNBC and the wealthy will have to pay their fair share of taxes! But since they're greedy as fuck, they don't want that. *6. Always vote and never sit elections out!* Some of the worst, corrupt scum is up for reelection this year (e.g. Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConell, Lindsey Graham, etc.)... Vote them out! Nancy Pelosi is running this year against a progressive with the name Shahid Buttar, who is fighting for Medicare for all! If we got rid of Pelosi, #MoscowMitch, Graham, etc., it would be a tremendous success! *Please tell all your family members, friends and your community about all of this!* *And please copy my comment and share it as often as you can! Voting* (out the corrupt) *is the only way how we can fix the problems we're dealing with!* *If we wanna get a change, we gotta get rid of all the corrupt* (the likes of Clinton, Pelosi, Obama, Biden, McConnell, Trump, Graham, Cruz etc.), *who sold themselves to the highest bidder and whose job it is to prevent change and to keep us* (the bottom 99% of the American People) *down!* *We have to replace them with non corrupt politicians who actually care about all of us and who actually represent all of us! Otherwise our lives will keep getting worse!* Just a little reminder... *About 100 Mio. People not voting in 2016 and Trump & QAnon lunatics getting elected* in high government positions *is, what the failed experiment, known neoliberalism gave us!* *Replacing all the neoliberal, corrupt scum* (the Pelosis, Obamas, Bidens, Clintons, etc.) in the Democratic Party *with fresh, non corrupt people* (like Shahid Buttar who is challenging Pelosi in November) *is the only way to get the change we desperately need!* *Or more/worse rightwing lunatics like/than Trump will plunge America into rightwing fascism!*

Local governments, even ones run by black mayors and police chiefs have a real hard time coming down on city employees if the they have to choose between the employee and a citizen.

Even if they weren’t at fault for it, some recognition of the turmoil and struggles our country is going through right now would be beneficial to a message of hope. To me a message of hope would sound like, “while our country is undergoing difficulties right now, with our leadership, together we can heal”. Also a recognition of issues in our country doesn’t mean you hate your country. Otherwise every political party would hate their country.
