yeah i side-graded from the iPhone 13 Pro Max to iPhone 15 Plus and the 15 snappers are every bit as good as the 13 snappers for casual use. The Pro seems to be positioning itself to the rig-building gaming crowd, I expect iPhone RGB Pro Rig soon!

So have you had a chance to test the 15 versus the 15 Pro in low light yet? I’m curious as to how they both handle low light photography considering the aperture difference between the two and the size of the lenses themselves. Specifically I’m talking about the primary lens.

Crossing my fingers for an iPhone 15 screen protector face-off 🤞 I ordered an ESR protector like I always do and it collects tons of dust around the edges because of the curved corners. If dust collection could be a testing criteria that would be GREAT.

Because I bought an iPhone 15 Pro and I watched your screen protector videos and other screen protector videos, but they don't show the belkin screen protectors. Also, I’ve got the latest update that supposedly fix the overheating issue and I can say that it still gets warm but it’s not as warm as it was previously when using specific apps like Instagram and the camera.
You should try the ringke screen protector. It is the first screen protector that actually works in my opinion.
Bought a 15plus instead. Very happy with my choice. I'm from a 12mini and the battery in these last 26 hours for me.
You didn’t quite explain the whole camera situation correctly but everything else is pretty spot on. I upgrade from a 13pm and it’s a noticeable upgrade but nothing drastic
In regards to the screen protector: This is so true. I actually removed mine because it bothered me so much. I'm very picky aswell :D If you find a 3D screen protector please let us know! I'm on the search aswell

it's been 2 weeks already! wow. 17.0.3 update really fixed battery life for me on my iphone 15 pro its way longer. 1.5x from before that i've noticed.
4:22 Regarding the overheating. The question here, is to whether or not it ultimately is a hardware issue, and that the “software” fix is to effectively throttle, or under-clock the CPU. The implication is they might have significantly exaggerated their CPU performance of their new chip set.

Have you ever reviewed the Amazon Basic brand cases? There’s one for every model at least now, I was just curious how they are. A lot of the stuff Amazon it making is pretty good, like cables.
You can definitely tell the difference in weight. I went from the iPhone 14 pmax to the iPhone 15 pmax. As soon as I opened the box I thought they had sent me a fake one lol it’s that light but love it
I switch from 13 pm to 15 pm I’m loving the weight reduction as well as it being slimmer it’s more comfortable, haven’t noticed much of a battery decrease it lasts me throughout the day

Hi Aaron. I got the Mous case from the previous accessories video for my 15 Pro Max and the buttons press too easily. Do you have any recommendations for cases with really firm buttons? I really liked the actuation on my Moment Rugged case with the wood panel for the 12 Pro (almost nested inside of the case frame, and no accidental presses). I contacted Moment, but it seems that that case was phased out :(
Got my 14 pro max last year December upgraded from a iPhone 11 . I’ll wait a few more years to upgrade . But my watch I have series 8 with battery life already at 90% this I might upgrade

In my opinion,the Belkin one fitted at the Apple Store is the best.
I use a hydro gel screen protector… adds zero weight and does what it needs to do. If I drop and break my phone I have apple care +

The photo feature where you can adjust the portrait mode level is actually an iOS 17 feature. I can do it too on my iPhone 13, so I wouldn’t market it as something you can do exclusively on the iPhone 15
I'm fairly certain you've been able to adjust the Portrait Mode bokeh all the way back to the iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 10. New to the 15 line is the ability to *add* Portrait Mode after you've already taken a photo :)

I currently have an iphone 11 pro. I am planning to upgrade this month. Do you suggest I upgrade to iphone 15 plus, iphone15 pro or iphone 15 pro max? I'm more concerned with battery life and overall value for money.
I think we only get the 24 megapixels up until like 1.9X. But the weird thing is if you turn on heif max at 1.9 it’s only something like 14 megapixels so I don’t get it. I thought that was supposed to be better quality if we put it on the heif max. I think heif max shoots 24 mp up to 1.5. I think we only get the full 48 megapixels if we shoot at 1x raw max.

So, the screen protector I have does have curved edges. Is the ones he talking about even more round or? If I run my finger over the edge my finger does catch a little, but it's not sharp like some I've had before. I would be all for it if they create even more of a rounded edge because if it wasn't for that I wouldn't even know I had a screen protector on.

Have you had any problems with your iPhone 15 Pro max carbon fiber mous case from any of the sides of the case have you noticed anything?
"Seven" lenses are a fallacy: Macro is just the 13mm lens cropped to 3MP. 13mm lens is an actual lens 24mm lens is an actual lens 28, 35 and 48mm are just crops of the 120mm lens with 8.8, 5.6 and 3MP resulting photos. 120mm lens is an actual lens and replaces the 77mm from previous gen, so when zooming into 77mm, you are just cropping the 24mm. (Not to mention the abysmal light gathering due to the effective aperture).

When reviewing cases, it would be great if you could provide the weight of each case. I tend to get carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrist when holding my phone too long, so I’m always looking for the lightest case I can get that also offers good drop protection.

I’ve had my iPhone 15 pro max day 2 of release (swapped with 15 Pro because of battery life after 1 day) Never had a heat issue and I’m a power user but iOS 17.03 has actually made mine cooler and I’m seeing more battery life. Don’t forget you can adjust focal points and make portrait photo post shot with pets . I agree with the screen projector and it’s sharp on the edges . For me the best 2 things are the weight difffernce in my hand and also my cellular and wifi connection seems much better especially my Apple wireless car play. Honding my now daughters iPhone 14 pro max seems different but I wouldn’t buy it thinking there will be a major update or picture difference. I update yearly because I love tech ,and claim on tax 😅

Maybe it's time to ditch screen protectors altogether and just stick with a case. I don't exactly get gravel in my pockets every day, but I could see myself dropping my phone onto a sidewalk. A good case ought to cover the latter situation

Precision finding does not work with my my iPhone 15 Pro Max and my Apple Watch Ultra. It will ping, but it will not bring up the green screen with the white circle which indicates how far my phone is. Why?
It’ll be interesting to find out if the overheating will be resolved with this update. Will you do an update in about 2 weeks time? I’m still on the fence. I suppose I could try to stretch out my 8 plus for one more year, but I really need a new one.

I think the nomad wallet case works with a magsafe car mount, but I don’t know if you can keep the case open whilst driving

Isn't Apple saying that each camera has 7P optical lenses, i.e. light passes through 7x lenses for each? That's how I interpreted it. I think they used to use 6P lenses before.

Great video as always. 1 thing, you said the 15 Pro max were the only phone to have an action button, but my 15 pro has it as well. Did you just use "Pro Max" to just blanket cover the 15 Pros as well? also, I went from a 14 PM to a 15 Pro and it just.. it feels really good in my hand. I didnt even try a 15 pro max and maybe I should have, but I dont really need the larger screen and I dont need the 5x over the 3x. Loving it so far. Maybe you can look into some of the crazy shortcuts people are doing with their action buttons? Ive seen some insane context dependant shortcuts.

for iphone 15 pro max, optical zoom is x5, so x2 has lower resolution
