I've had my popsocket wallet for 3 years since I got my iphone 12 pro and now it's on my iphone 15 pro max and it's still incredible. At first the wallet started showing wear very quickly and the elastic started showing wear which made me worry about longevity. Since those 2 things showed wear in the first 2 months, they've been exactly the same 3 years after that lol. So, if you get it don't worry it lasts a long time and is a great investment. I tell everyone who has a magsafe iphone about it because I firmly belive it's the best product for an iPhone. I always had these super minimal wallets to pair with my phone, but now my minimal wallet and popsocket combo due to the popsocket wallet is just incredible and I can't use anything else.
The ESR Geo Wallet Stand is a fantastic wallet. I have used it exclusively since it was released and don't plan on switching any time soon.

Used your review to buy (import) the magbak case and wallet for my iP13PM two years ago. Just ordered a iP15PM and now I am back to see what I should buy for it. The magbak case and wallet combo is awesome and was a great choice. However I find the case alone to lack a bit of grip (think you mentioned it). If I go with the ESR geo wallet, what case should I go with?
I have a Quadlock cover on my iPhone and have the Quadlock wallet. I really like the security it offers by not just relying on the MagSafe but also the Quadlock 'insert'. The only draw back in that it is NOT safe from scanning, but then most MagSafe wallets are not safe from scanning either. 👍👍
I find that peak products stick best with their cases, due to the different magnet array. Putting them together makes a ridiculously strong connection
I agree completely. When using the wallet with the Peak case it is a very strong connection.
I just lost my Peak Design mobile stand wallet the 1st week I had it. Using it on their case. Not sure how it fell off while at the theater last week. Wish they used their durable clip instead of magnets to attach the wallet. Very sad because I really liked the wallet and stand.

Great video always look to this channel for all my apple Accessories My otterbox magsafe wallet started to fall apart after a year of use. based on this vid i decided to buy the halolock geo. My first thoughts are its a lot bigger and heavier then i’m used to and the baked in find my is great but i never found myself losing my previous wallet i’ll see how useful the find my ends up being. New to the stand too i’ll see how much i end up using. My first thought is i want a lighter wallet bc i only carry two cards. The build quality feels great and i think i’ll give it a try for some time though first.

Great info. Can you comment on RFID on your top picks? For the ESR products (both of them) I do not find any reference to supporting builtin RFID (maybe because it doesn't have it?). I thought RFID was a pretty solid standard in wallet accessories but perhaps its old technology. . .

I picked up the Pelican last year and hated the rattle of just 1 card... so I switched sides. The rubberized cash side holds3-4 cards with no rattle and the cash can still fit in the card side. I just swapped sides.
Do you plan on reviewing the Popsocket battery pack? I don’t remember seeing it before on their website and am curious how it performs since the pop socket would make it way more useful than a lot of battery packs.
I bought the MagSafe Popsocket+ Wallet since it came out and despite of loving the leather Apple wallet.. it’s just #1 for me. Ease of use and I honestly only place my iPhone on landscape mode if I’m watching anything. But I’ve been thinking about purchasing the Pelican wallet as well. Sometimes you just need to swap out accessories lol

Went from the iPhone 7 to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it’s hands down the best iPhone ever made. I feel like Tony Stark with how advanced and smooth the phone is lol Maybe upgrade when the 17 comes out? I think I’m feeling now what people felt when the 13 pro max came out years ago, it’s really nice.

I’ve been on the Popwallet+ for the last year or so and it’s been pretty great, all things considered. Think I’m gonna swap it out for one of the ESR offerings soon though. The hinged stand seems really nice to have.

Got the ESR Halolock Geo Wallet during the Kickstarter event. It’s extremely sturdy coz the magnet is very strong! Wish it has the slot for ID card window but can’t beat the FindMy beeping feature! Highly recommend!!

I know you mentioned that you keep buying Moft wallets, I absolutely hated them but the convenience and thinness of the design led me to try the new Movas one (the regular mind you is still crap), and if you are looking to actually revisit something that has been properly revamped, boy these new magnets on the Movas are no joke. You should definitely try them it's the first time I start recommending Moft to people

I honestly like my Apple branded MagSafe wallet, I only need to carry 2-3 cards and maybe 1 cash bill so it works fine for me.

Could you suggest the best case/ wallet that is meant to be super minimal and only for one card that can even be used without having to take the card out of the wallet. Like say maybe an access door card so I could just tap the back of my phone to the access point.

just ordered the ESR geo based on this (and other) recommendations. Will say I did try the Veci 2-in-1 bifold a few months ago, and returned it because the detachable magnet piece was not strong at all.....to easy to fall off

Not sure if Apple has improved their FineWoven since you did this review, but I have had mine for two weeks and the magnets (I use it on an Apple leather MagSafe case) are incredibly strong, the fit and feel is perfect, and it holds three cards beautifully and they are easy to get out. I had a MOFT magsafe wallet and it fell apart in less than a year. When I checked the warranty, it was only 6 months. Now I understand why MOFT has such a short warranty. I think the Apple

Any recommendations for a horizontal card slot wallet? I got the cheaper ESR wallet and it barely fits 3 cards. It’s so stiff, you have to take the wallet off and take all three cards out just to get the one you want.

Do you think the halo lock MagSafe ESR wallet could hold a traditional money clip? it’s a great product but I feel like when you open it up it’s blank inside and it’s a bunch of wasted space that could be used for more cards or an ID

Figured I would watch this even though I JUST bought a mag safe wallet 2 weeks ago (which I love) just so you could tell me it was the wrong choice and show me what I SHOULD have gotten but you placed my pick #1 (,: I LOVE the ESR with the find my. I do find myself brining a regular wallet around on occasion because I cant bring cash in the ESR so easily and I audibly gasped when you showed the bifold wallet with the detachable mag safe wallet. I might pick that up too. Bonus if the ESR can fit inside it instead of the mag safe included.
But hey if you want test that out (If the ESR with find my fits inside the bifold with MagSafe) and get back to me that would be soooooooooo cool of you!

It seems there are no links to the two larger capacity wallets in the description.

Nice video, the only issue is the ESR wallets are HUGE. I’ve seen some pictures where if you have an iphone 15 pro, they cover the bottom camera slightly which is super lame. Is it possible to test this?
i just got the esr geo and it is huge a bit too big for my liking and not sure what to do, may go back to my previous one the otter box wallet
Sinjimoru’s strap can also be used as a stand if you pinch the rubber out rigid. It is also the cheapest on your list unless I’m missing something else. But the rubber rigidity goes slack over time and the fabric material is prone to getting oily and dirty.

**2 Month Update** While I still really enjoy my ESR Geo, the finger strap on the back has broken after minimal use. Slightly disappointed with the build quality for the price I paid. Just a heads up for anyone who is a heavy user of the finger strap. I've contacted ESR for warranty and will update this post with my experience. Have you tried the new Speck ClickLock wallet? I want to get one because I have a ClickLock case and it seems very secure, but I’m worried about my cards getting demagnetized when using it? Any idea if it shields against that or anything?
Hey! I have a question about the ESR Geo Walletstand do you think cash would fit between the stand section and the phone?
Not sure if youve tried the sinjimoru m-pull tab stand, which to me is neck-and-neck with the ESR Geo. Its got a sturdy adjustable stand, 3-ish card capacity with magnetic lid, and comfy elastic grip with room for 4-ish fingers. It doesnt have Find My capability, but has a better grip, is slimmer, and is cheaper. I wanted something for reading, and its more comfy than a Popsocket to me

Based on this video ( I don't have the actial one yet), I actually like the Veci Bifold. I don't really need a stand, it just makes it thicker. I just need a simple one that can carry a few cards or ID. Link for that?
What about the OhSnap Snap4 grip that can be combined with a wallet? I’ve seen a lot of ads for it lately. My issue is that my current case which holds my card and license won’t let me mag charge my phone. For these wallets do you just remove the wallet for charging?
I just got the Moft Wallet after they changed to whatever “MOVAS” is and the magnets on this are crazy strong. It’s actually a bit too stiff of a material now so I could get 3 cards in it. Still an improvement over the weak magnets they used to have though

Did you try them with a hotel key card, to check if that type of card still functions after being snapped to an iPhone?

I cannot find the ESR wallet you have at number 1. The link shows another model.
The best case is one that doesn't have cheap plastic over the camera lenses. The plastic makes all your pictures look hazy. Get one with real glass covering the lenses. Or one like I found where the case is higher than the lenses and nothing obstructs the lens view. And don't ever pay over $15 because any more is all markup like you find in Mall stores or company's selling a copyright name.
I got the Bellroy mod case and just shaved the bars off with a razor blade, best MagSafe wallet IMO. Case ate just recently made something similar without the bars…
Does the mod case have a magnet to connect with the bars shaved off?
