  • Thank you for promoting our beautiful province of Newfoundland. As an avid hunter and guide myself, I don't think there's any place better to hunt moose even though they are not the largest of the moose family. But for anyone wanting a true outdoor experience and hunting adventure, there's no other place quite like it. Thanks again Canada in the rough crew.. Looking forward to vol. 3 of your awesome Moose hunting adventures!

  • Great to see those again! I Live in Alberta and hunting moose in Newfoundland is definitely something I've been wanting to do for a long time now. I think it's almost time. Been watching CITR since I was young, at that time Thomas Pigeon was the host and had the Beasley brothers on as guests. You all have been putting on a great show for decades 👏 Love it and keep the great content coming.

  • Great shot. Take the largest, strongest, most productive bull out of the herd. Is that what a farmer does??

    @jameswadas5366@jameswadas53662 жыл бұрын
    • Actually is very well studied that in the wild it is much better for the herd if you take the mature animal rather then a young one if you care about the quality and population of the herd. Look up QDMA and read up on the facts about deer, it translates to all other big game as well. Happy Hunting.

  • How many moose do these guys need anyway as a resident of nb we have to wait to get drawn you could never get it these guys go every year with an outfitter that shows them a moose

    @mattkelly9516@mattkelly9516 Жыл бұрын
    • We are very fortunate to hunt in many places across Canada each year, that is true. Though remember, we're promoting the tradition of hunting in what we belive to be an ethical and entertaining way in hopes of the next generation will get excited about it and become hunters. Which is important these days when so many other media outlets and groups of people try to shame hunters. Also, as Ontario residents, for most proviences outside of ours we must hunt with an outfitter, it's the law. Lastly, we promote each area we hunt in hopes of increasing tourism, which many small business owners heavily rely on to make ends meat. Hope that helps explain our side of things, though again we are very fortunate to be able to do what we do.

    • @@canadaintheroughtv Both great choices! Im taking my grandfathers old 'not obsolete" 30-06 sporterized war rifle. He never had the chance to get him self a moose before he passed. So I am going to get one with his rifle as a memorial hunt for him. Anyways on a brighter note I absolutely love your guys content! Im a big time bear hunter and you guys definitely put in the work. Again God bless your families with more 100% free range organic goodness from the wild to your plates! Take care.

    • Moose are abundant here. They are an important part of our food supply. That moose fed multiple families. The license to harvest that moose was issued by the government who pays biologists to monitor and study populations to ensure sustainability. Wild game meat is a smart choice. Wild game is the most renewable, the most sustainable, the most organic, the most lean, and the most environmentally friendly meat source on the planet
