It really goes to show how well Bo3 zombies is. I've been playing Bo3 zombies by myself for so long and I never get tired of it.
Bo3 maps were sweeping every other map in the begginig lol. It’s hard going against bo3 maps that’s are masterpieces,well almost all of them.

I love that my 2 favorite maps of all time are at the end. Origins is the GOAT though. Changed the way we looked at zombies maps forever, they went all out and gave us the first Multi wonder weaponed map for ALL 4 four players to have, not to mention how fun it was upgrading them! the quest for the golden shovel and helmet, integration of the wunderfizz, man what an all time great map, airstrike bombs, the panzers, it changed zombies FOREVER. I still do solo runs to this day a decade later. I remember my boys fighting over which staff they wanted, (i was a lightning staff guy bc of the animations and clip size). W list boys, I was young when it all started but I always wished I started content creation when zombies was at its peak. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Cant believe I am so late to this video lmao.

Buried is probably (99.99%) my favorite map to play.but Kino will forever live in all of our hearts and minds, simply bc we ALL spent hours upon HOURS (more like days) on Kino.then the DLC came out for BOPS 1.we played all the maps and ALWAYS found ourselves coming straight back to Kino.
Origins is my all time favorite map, and it won’t change unless something big happens, I thought they would vote it off sooner honestly

@Luke Davies it’s definitely the best map if you look back on everything. But if you haven’t played it in a while and have been playing mob or origins, you’ll most likely think they’re better because they’re more fresh in your mind. Those two maps and bo3 are untouched lol

DER EISENDRACHE is personally my favourite map ever, truly got me engrossed in zombies and it’s storyline
That was a really hard one at the end. Origins introduced the Elemental Staffs Wonder Weapons and DE introduced the different Bows. Both unique Wonder Weapons, both had the Panzers as a tough mob. Personally loved Origins more but overall both very solid maps.
I honestly feel like Origins and DE are the same map, idk how to explain it, but instead DE has a boss

There's so much put into the more recent zombies maps (and sometimes overdone) that comparing them to what the old school maps feel like now, is just giving the old maps a rough time. If someone played WAW/BO1 maps now, compared to BO3/4, they'd think the old maps have nothing to do in them. You have to respect what the older maps did at the time.
What about BO2?

I think we can all agree that they deserve respect. Does that make them better than newer maps though? Nope.
ancient evil vs GK was so hard. Gorod Krovi had probably the hardest easter egg ever, at least one of them, which made it a nightmare but a fun challenge, ancient evil is the only zombies map (and alpha omega) that i enjoyed after bo3, it was an absolute gem. man idk how you decide that. the boss fight probably puts GK over the top.
Who knew how much a map could change whether or not you enjoyed the game mode

For me personally.. Call Of The Dead.. that map is a masterpiece. The Scavenger, amazing cast.. awesome easter egg.. the first time we had the ability to have 8 perks.. the wunderwaffe.. amazing map!

I’m very very very surprised they voted Shang over dead of the night. I’mma be real, dead of the night is probably in my top 10 favorite zombies maps of all time. Has a pretty cool Easter egg, I’m pretty sure it’s not the easiest but definitely not the hardest, cool little boss, and just overall a well built map

Not even close for me, BO2 easily had all my favorite maps with Alcatraz, Buried, and Origins….wish they would go back to interesting themed maps like these instead of just maps with nothing but vertical buildings and broken down cities with nothing to them.

@@alecjohnson48 no no see you’ve got it wrong it’s a sequence of events you have to go in order just like the other rounds Origins beat Soe Origins moved on then DE beat Origins then SOE came back and beat DE it’s a sequence of events Origins is already out of the pictures it lost the previous round so it’s out Soe is supposed to be out but since they brought it back it’s no longer out DE won this little tournament and Soe took the title. The title was given to DE because it won then in the bonus round Soe won basically taking the title origins did beat Soe but it didn’t have the title it was still apart of the tournament you get it.

It gets pretty tiring to see all this time go into a tournament only for the age old "DE vs Origins" debate all over again lol. Nice! Der Eisendrache is my fourth favorite Zombies map of all time, behind Classified, Alpha Omega, and Kino Der Toten.
i like the tournament style method of figuring this out. But why don't you take it one step further and poll the entire community. Have each person choose between 2 random maps a handful of times. And work it out based on the maps that won the most matchups, and the maps that won the least matchups (as a %). And you can make people choose which zombies games they've played and only show maps from those
I feel like you should do this again but randomize the seed again. We need the actual best map

If you rank these as maps you can load into and play for an hour or so, easter eggs fall to the wayside and the box weapons start reigning supreme. I can always do side quests but I love sitting there and being able to turn my brain off and play a video game
honestly I vibe hard with Noah on this one I vastly prefer maps with objectives and things to do other than just surviving waves which is why DE and most BO4 maps are my favorites

I remember as a kid playing buried on my own and I always use to get so scared when going into the witches house, it felt like I was playing a horror. This is why buried is top 3 along side origins and shadows because it was one of the scariest maps, this is why I think that the world war and bo1 zombie maps are some of the best as they have that scary and uncomfortable vibe to them, this is what zombies should be, all the new maps just don't have this and it feels like I'm playing fortnite save the world instead of zombies.
You're talking about scary maps yet you didnt mention mob which is one of the creepiest maps lol
Next time all of you need to make a list of all the maps in order from best to worst. You then take the average of all your lists and seed the maps based on that order. Ex. Orginins has lowest numerical average of 1 so it becomes the #1 seed. You then create the bracket based on this seeding and may the best win. This will get rid of the good maps falling early by accident.

Kino is my favorite map. Some of yall may not get this because your either too young or too old. But coming home at 13 years old and having all 3 of my friends come over and play zombies with me. Surving till round 14 which was a record at the time. Sharing one screen with 4 players. That is one of the most memorable moments of my life. It was a simple time, where I could just have fun with my friends. No school, no work, no college, no gf and now wife. Just having fun with my best friends. That map will forever and always be, my favorite map. So to all the people that say it's terrible and that me and many others have terrible taste. Check yourself, because imo my nostalgia and memories make that map better than any other map by a longshot.
Well when you're ranking maps, you don't count nostalgia and memories but the easter eggs, boss fights and map layout etc. My first zombies map was Kino as well, but no way is it better than maps like de, mob, origins, gk, rev etc if you're ranking it logically not emotionally

Mine is downright mob of the dead, it is such a interesting setting 1930s Alcatraz Boss Dogs Plane Pack a punch location All upgrades and Easter eggs Wonder weapons Easter egg-ish ending Characters Johnny cash in the intro And the whole ghost system It’s so much interesting concepts in one map

Honestly i have to get this off my chest before bo2 last zombie map came i almost guest it completely i felt like they were bringing back the original characters there was going to be elemental swords giant robots and a robot helper and a new perk but it turned out there was 3 giant robots the panzer elemental staffs instead of sword and i wasn't sure if there was a new perk but eventually my brother told me i almost got everything right it was definitely a privilege to be apart of bo2s zombie storyline
