One of your top 5 videos Stefan - really nice!
Thank you so much 🙏
I'm from Grenoble and I know these mountains but damn, this is another level, it's so beautiful, ty for sharing !
It's amazing the life that you can have in some countries. Does not looks like the same world that we all live. Far from Violence, Corruption, Social Media Wars... At least that's the image that I have seeing this video. AMAZING!!!!!
I'm an airline pilot and enjoyed the heck out of that. Makes me want to go back and get my glider license!
Its super easy and relatively cheap to get! Its also international. In the US most sailplaning is thermals, but in the alps its all ridge lift. . . which is different and loads of fun!
Just put from -to on your MCDU enough
All of my instructors have been active or retired FedEx or military pilots. They still seem to love it so much.
Where do u get one I want it so bad
And how old u have to be
When I was a kid in my native country, it was very hot 40-50°C most days with no wind. If I look up, I'd see hundreds of eagles / kites in groups of 20+ gliding round and round all day in specific but changing spots in the horizon. Didn't know what they were doing until I got bored one day and looked at them for a couple hours. They'd start close to the ground going round for 20-30 minutes, gaining altitude until they got so high that they'd look like a dot in the sky. Then they all break formation and split out in every direction, still gliding. I learned later they do this to get a wider view of the ground, searching for prey with their sharp eyesight. So I decided one day to test their eyesight. Got raw meat cut into small 2" pieces and threw it in the air (maybe ½ kg total) while the eagles were probably a few kilometers up. They seen it from up there, switched to dive mode, and in less than ½ a minute, theres about 50 eagles doing high-G maneuvers to grab the meat. Your video reminded me of it. Very cool, I like it. 👍👍👍
Cool. what is your country
@@musicsequencebr Pakistan 🇵🇰
Maybe it was a way for them to cool down if it was so hot there too, cooler air mass up higher. It would take a bit of energy though having to hold the wings out stiff though you'd think but the adrenalin it would produce would override the fatigue. Less oxygen too. I wonder how long they can stay up there
man i love your story
@@livingadamman7994 Did you even try to think this through???
Another spectacular flight. Especially enjoyed the ridge soaring - incredible scenery and flying. Many thanks for sharing the experience. 😊
Beautiful scenery and flying, amazing!
You guys are amazing, heartiest congratulations on your invention, thanks for showing spectacular bird eye view. Wish i could fly too like you all.Hopefully some day. High regards and respect Riyaz
Absolut genialer Ort zum Fliegen, danke fürs Teilen!
Amazing, beautiful, beautiful flight! Thanks.
Thanks Stefan for your great videos! I restarted flying sailplanes after 40 year hiatus, thanks to you, and flew local competitions on Condor during the winter. Next month, I will be flying my first (dual) competition at my gliding club.
Great! Good thermals and a lot of fun for your first competition 👍😃
@@SteFly In Frankreich wir sprechen fransôzich.
Beautiful footage. Gliding is so rare to see these days with powered flying being so readily accessible. There is something about the simplicity of gliding that's just beautiful.
Very cool🎉
Geiler Tag! 😀👌
Gratulation :)
Herzlichen Glückwunsch und viele tolle Flüge. Jetzt fängt das (Streckenflug) Training erst so richtig an 😉
danke danke

@@Terra_X Sehr geil, viel Spaß 😊
Deine Videos immer so wunderbar schön.
It is a big joy and adventure to fly with you great pilot. Stay save
I'm definitely getting a glider license... Also : I just LOVE the canopy design, it's the closest thing to flying "open" in the sky if you catch my drift...
Well, you have also this guy in the open :) kzhead.info/sun/nZeCdLSPlmKPrIE/bejne.html
Totally amazing!
Beautiful!
Ive been watching your videos every Saturday morning and i really continue to enjoy your work. 👍
Wow, great 🙏
To this day, I still love to follow your flight video clips. because it still reminds me of my desire to learn and even have equipment for paragliding. The environment I live in is mountainous terrain which allows for that. God, how I want It
Mulțumim pentru filmare și efortul depus 😃👍
Fabulous flight guys, such a beautiful place to fly in.
Just found your channel. This experience was absolutely beautiful! I wish I can fly somewhere like this someday!
This is the essence of pure awesomeness.
Incredible, you got a new subscriber today. Thanks for bringing us along!
Great video, as always 👏👏❤️
Hi Stefan, thanks for sharing this beautiful flight so close to the mountains. Needs to be very careful with the paragliders enjoying their flight with eagles !
Dieses Anfängerkurs Flötenunterricht ist das beste 😁
stunning!
Thank you for this video! There are some decent places to glide here in the USA.. But, this is absolutely breathtaking! It is a little counter to some of the thermal training I had decades ago (me, mentally), but wow! You've probably sold a bunch of people into this even if they are well into jet av... So cool!!! I can almost feel that variometer sound! ;)
seegelfligen ist so cool und entspanend
Stimmt

Stunning.
TOP. Danke für das Video Stefan.

Absolutely amazing scenery. I was surprised to see so many paragliders too.
Thanks again Stefan for a wonderful flight! Just Awsome!

Wow !!! What a fantastic video. The journey must have been absolutely amazing from your point of view. A lot of the scenery was the most amazing I have ever seen, and probably never will in my lifetime. I used to enjoy gliding as a hobby in Cyprus, and North Rhine-Westphalia in my younger days (30+ years ago). Thanks for sharing your videos Stephan 👍😊
Thank you 😃
been up in a glider near Silverton Colorado , have to say your video was amazing what a area to catch thermals . ty

Thank you so much for the video. Really entertaining. Great footage. It looks so easy. I bet I could do it ;-)
waving to a paraglider is so cool!
Very nice flight..!! 👍👍
Sehr geil
That was a quick Taxi via BRAVO!
I can't believe how much performance these gliders have when they hit those thermals making that tight of turns. Awesome footage, subbed.
Keep in mind a glider like that is like over half a million to buy new. It's not your typical "I've seen one of these at a local airport" glider. It's high performance and extremely costly.
@@EinBick No its not! You can get a decent Ls3 for 25000 dollars.

Whew 😥 y’all look to be flying so close to those mountains 🏔 omg 😳 I kept thinking the wing was going to scrape the mountain relaxing video thou ❣️😌

these are so fun to watch especially since im a student glider pilot going for my license right now
So many memories from my childhood when I see this. In Colorado Springs you would routinely see gliders riding the thermals. Good times.
I noticed that the first time I went there. Always wondered how long you could stay up.

Greetings from Sweden. I wonder how much of planning and reconization you do before a flight like this. Have you got landing spots for all of the flight or is by feeling?
Great video, REALLY like the flybys.. helps me visualize which lines you are picking!, keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! That´s motivating for new videos 😀

Amazing one! It makes me remember my time when I was flying gliders for the FSCO :) Keep enjoying mate! I switched the air for water, but this makes me wanting to find an aero club down here in Portugal and start again :)
This is like something I would dream
Looks like an amazing journey! I hope I get the chance to do something similar - just not a lot of mountains where I live. :)
Know nothing about gliding or flying in general, but i can say its a beautiful video and i stayed for the entire ride along ;)
Awesome !!! Love that!! Greetings from Turkey!!

Who is playing flute in the back of the plane?
That's called a variometer a measuring device that beeps while we gain or lose altitude. The more height we gain or lose the more frequent beeps
