I like to think people at the theater are concerned for Eddy. Like they were fully aware he was continually sneaking into Morbius, but didn't want to approach him for fear of his reaction.

I think the crux of Morbius' success was Jared Leto's acting prowess. He stayed in character even off camera and really got into the Morbius mindspace by slaughtering the film crew, and it paid off in a big way.

You know, I'm watching this 11 Months after the video came out, and the echoes of Morbius can still be felt. What a time that was too. The staff aren't nearly as ignorant to what patrons are doing as they would have you believe. BUT they don't care as long as they're making money off you. They have no loyalty to a particular publishing house or director, as long as you bought tickets or paid for some overpriced food you can basically go wherever the fuck you want as long as you don't literally camp out the whole day.

Back in September i finally watched Morbius since there were a zillion dvd copies at the library, and even though I watched this video when it came out i did not remember anything that was described at all, Morbius is just that unremarkable of a movie despite how bonkers a lot of it is LOL

Eddy is the only person who really suffers for the art anymore. Edit: I watched the movie in a bored slump and Morbius's experiment is even dumber than it seems. He specifically mentions the gene that gives vampire bat saliva anticoagulant properties. Not sonar navigation or fangs or anything. His spit should just make you bleed more. I know it's a superhero movie but that's dumb even in a world with radioactive spiders and gamma-radiation rage giants.

Back in high-school I worked at a movie theater and the only theater hopping we cared about is if kids were trying to get in R rated movies. That or if you saw your movie and tried to stay long to see a second film.

@@tcoi1872 As another former movie theatre employee, that makes perfect sense. Regulars are very common. For instance, at my theatre there was one woman who came in 13 days in a row to see Cruella. And movie theatre employees, especially front of house, are very perceptive. Yes, we see you going into the wrong theatre. Yes, I see that twix bar sticking out of your purse. Yes, I know you're high. Thing is, we hardly ever intervene unless your being annoying or management asks us to.

I will never not be tired of Morbius. The fact that it was re-launched because Sony thought people would watch it ironically, and then it went on to flop twice in a row, is way too much of a sweet, succulent slap in the face of that company and Jared Leto. And that's before taking into consideration that the "Morbin' Time" joke that kicked it all off was coined by a guy who reviews Yu-Gi-Oh!-Cards of all things
I’m glad you had an opportunity to appreciate how written the script was, how acted the characters were, and how animated the CGI was. Truly, morbius is one of the movies of all time.

My favorite scene was when Morbius yawned and was like "Jeez I'm about to go Snorbius". I actually shat myself it was so funny.
When Morbius said “The real Morbius was the friends we made along the way.” I screamed and cried and shit my pants and it changed my life forever. My second favourite part was when Morbina (Morbius’s wife) gave birth to the little Morblings, I think that’s a good sign that we will get a sequel to this fantastic film.
