    • as someone who works in a theatre, we definitely recognize people and we definitely judge people who see the same movie every day. its rare, but it happens, and i am always incredibly confused by it. if i saw someone doing this w morbius i’d need an extra therapy session that week

The staff aren't nearly as ignorant to what patrons are doing as they would have you believe. BUT they don't care as long as they're making money off you. They have no loyalty to a particular publishing house or director, as long as you bought tickets or paid for some overpriced food you can basically go wherever the fuck you want as long as you don't literally camp out the whole day.

  • Eddy is the only person who really suffers for the art anymore. Edit: I watched the movie in a bored slump and Morbius's experiment is even dumber than it seems. He specifically mentions the gene that gives vampire bat saliva anticoagulant properties. Not sonar navigation or fangs or anything. His spit should just make you bleed more. I know it's a superhero movie but that's dumb even in a world with radioactive spiders and gamma-radiation rage giants.

For instance, at my theatre there was one woman who came in 13 days in a row to see Cruella. And movie theatre employees, especially front of house, are very perceptive. Yes, we see you going into the wrong theatre. Yes, I see that twix bar sticking out of your purse. Yes, I know you're high.   • I will never not be tired of Morbius. The fact that it was re-launched because Sony thought people would watch it ironically, and then it went on to flop twice in a row, is way too much of a sweet, succulent slap in the face of that company and Jared Leto. And that's before taking into consideration that the "Morbin' Time" joke that kicked it all off was coined by a guy who reviews Yu-Gi-Oh!-Cards of all things

  • I’m glad you had an opportunity to appreciate how written the script was, how acted the characters were, and how animated the CGI was. Truly, morbius is one of the movies of all time.

  • When Morbius said “The real Morbius was the friends we made along the way.” I screamed and cried and shit my pants and it changed my life forever. My second favourite part was when Morbina (Morbius’s wife) gave birth to the little Morblings, I think that’s a good sign that we will get a sequel to this fantastic film.

  • There's a podcast called "the worst idea of all time" that has a similar premise to this. 1 movie, 1 review, every week for a year. If you want to hear people confront their own mortality and despair through the lens of watching horrible movies, start at the beginning (or at least their year of sex and the city 2).
