500g Strong Flour
300 ml warm water
7g fast action yeast
1.5 tbs Soft Butter
1.5 tsp Golden caster sugar
1.5 tsp salt
Method:
1. mix Dry ingredients together
2. add in softened butter and warm water (holding a little back)
3. bring together, a metal butter knife is best.

5. kneed for approx. 10 minutes.. use extra flour for your surface and hands if needed.
6. cover with cling film wrap or damp cloth and proof for about an hour.
7. knock the air out of the dough and transfer to a loaf pan or lined dutch oven
8. proof for about 20 minutes near the fire
9. put the dutch oven over the hot fire / coals and place a few coals around the edge of the lid

      @johnbrown2163@johnbrown21633 жыл бұрын
    • @@johnbrown2163 the idea makes some sense, but if the jar was secured to a small tree, shaking the tree would mean you would be shaking the jar less intensely. If it were with a branch with a lot of spring, then it would probably snap if you tried to shake it too intensely

So I did about the same, got a carton of heavy whipping cream, a jar, shook it for a about 7 to 10 minutes, then I also used a ordinary electric mixer and a bowl with another carton of cream....this blast her mind. when I was younger I worked as a cook at a restaurant , everything we made was directly from scratch, learned all the basic stocks, sauces, food items, then pursued a career as a fine dining chef and worked in five star restaurants for years and years. Am a avid camper now and have done some serious camp cooking with my dutch oven. This gal was completely mind blown, ive cooked her foods and dishes that are top gourmet
