Thank you sir. That was some awesome flying, it definately is not boring.
NICE RC BLIMP BUDDY
C O O L ~ just what I've been looking for ! Good to know it has maneuverability but I'm primarily interested in finesse and the ability to just position and observe ! Yeah I know , the FAA road map thingy , but I believe all that will change soon ! Thanks !
I like it, i was looking to get myself a quadcopter, but this looks nice too
Cool it's huge!!!
@libertyangels - these can fly several hundred ft. I believe FAA regulations require under 400 ft above ground level for all model aircraft.
I've been wanting to get into RC for a while now up to this point I've been looking at Quad copters. I am primarily interested in a video/camera platform. What is the average carrying capacity of a averaged size blimp? What gas is used for lift and how long does it last be fore it needs charged again?
This is really awesome, and the material looks durable, unfortunatley I don't have that kind of money. You should attach a camera to one, and fly one around the neighborhood that says "eBlimp.com" Good luck with your buisiness.
Are the motor and propellers heavy enough to keep it from floating away?
cool
Cool! I'm interested for business use. I have a question: Is it really that loud or is just your video microphone that sensitive? ( I can also hear the birds chripping) :D
Helium, not hydrogen.
those motors have some serious balls!! FUCK!! awesome!
does the military use anything similar to this for recon?
The one great advantage of "airships" is incredible "loiter time" compared to typical rotor type drone since they can be filled with helium until neutral buoyant and don't need motor just to stay airborne. The down sides is getting caught in sudden high winds as a dirigible landing at my local airport was recently. Has anyone (other than government) mounted a camera on one. I came on net looking for info on ultralight man carrying version as I saw one last week and wanted to find out more about it.
+blastforyou we have done alot of camera work. browse through our youtube channel or email me and i will respond with some recent videos. eblimp@yahoo.com
+blastforyou also, you would be surprised how much wind we can handle. we have sustained flights in winds over 30mph on some of our larger blimps. the smaller ones about 15 mph.
Hello. Do you sell just the balloon/frame? Thanks.
yes, they add weight, and it will not float away.
How do you shoot missiles out of it?
Now this is cool. I was thinking earlier that an RC lighter-than-air craft would be easier to learn to fly than a plane or helicopter, since it's not as likely to crash if you let off the throttle. I've has a few RC helicopters and one RC... flying wing would the the better word, and none of them have worked for me.
how high can this go?
yes, we can sell any parts you need.
This is really interesting.. Can you tell me whats the highest distance can it fly upto? I looking for commercial purpose. I will send you an email shortly to discuss. Thank you
+Madhu Maddy i dont know what is the exact physical ceiling, but i have flown these almost out of site. more than 500 ft up.
nive video man i ve been thinking to start a business using this, now your video give me motivation thanks a lot for this how much will this cost and can you ship oe to me full set if i pay you thank get to to me
A very interesting way to advertise my business anywhere crowds may gather -- but is it legal to fly it over, say a city park during some event, etc?
usually you will want to talk to event organizers to get permission.
***** yeah right. 99.9 % of people love watching these things fly.
i have no idea what the military uses similar to this.
What is cheaper helium, or hydrogen?
Can you give me an idea of costs and shipping to the UK thanks :)
+Jem Little (Formula FPV) $4700 complete package. It is usulaly shipped in 3 boxes, and total shipping to UK should be around $500 for express services.
Thats awesome, but a touch out of my budget. Im sure its worth it. Id like it for our next Drone Racing event. Thanks and happy flying :)
+Jem Little (Formula FPV) - i would be interested in helping you on a rental, or a profit generating (for You) operation for you. If you would like to discuss how to make money letting us fly a blimp at your event, contact us. Our email, phone, and skype info are published at our website, linked above.
Thanks, Skyped you :)
@GwenKimDacones: helium give it buoyancy, but the electric motors are still need to make it move.
Hydrogen ?
a little more finesse and a little less hot-dog might be nicevery loud when man handled this way. Quite a capable blimp..
please click on the link in the description for the package details.
very maneuverable... blimp dogfight anyone???
@gandhirama ..also...it is helium. Leakage and retention depend on the material used and the age of the balloon...call us for details. 1-949-583-9571 1-855-eblimps
@gandhirama We custom make the balloons to give the exact amount of lifting capacity as you would like. General, our 11 ft balloon is great for 8 oz or less. 15 ft is great for 2.5 lbs. 20 ft is good for around 5 lbs..... but there are many options as far as balloon material (weight/helium retention) and power, and battery size, etc....we can custom make the perfect solution for you. Just call us at 1-855-eblimps or 1-949-583-9571. Or skype call: eblimp
then you put a white sheet around it and people run away thinking its a ghost rofl
hydrogen is cheaper...but flammable! Helium is nonflammable.
Feel free to call us (949) 583 9571. I will tell you all about the different levels of performance, with different price levels. We'll start by finding out where you targeting your business, and find some low end and high end systems. Rough numbers: to start indoors, you will need to invest at least $2000. To start outdoors, at least $4,000. Yes, We can ship one complete, ready to fly. -Larry
