This color is pretty attractive
It has a huge presence on the road. Love the unique look. The return of the 👑
53 decibels is as loud as a quiet conversation or a quiet refrigerator ! That blows my mind. I've never been in a car that quiet. Drew you looked really comfortable. Great review !!
My Audi scored a 51 decibel rating but that’s to be expected since it’s a German luxury car.
Rolls Royce scores an incredible 49! At 75 miles an hour ! 😮
Thanks!
It's about as quiet as a mouse getting a hardon.
This, the highest trim, should have power tilt/telescopic steering and a power trunk. I'm thankful there is no CVT. It's a good package reasonably priced.
Exactly
Reasonable...well okay then.
I agree, but they also want to protect Lexus somehow. But this costs what a loaded ES350 does, so Toyota should've thrown it in.
Add a more premium sound system to your list of missing features.
No head up display 😢
So many haters in the comments! I love this thing! Yes it's expensive, but if I wasn't broke I'd be at the Toyota dealership right now buying this thing, it's amazing
No you wouldn’t 😂. The crown is expensive, overpriced, ugly, and the interior is horrible for a flagship Toyota
@@naveenthemachine I’ll stick to my opinions, you stick to yours
if i wasnt broke.... id do so manythings lol. i agree tho i lvoe the styling
@@thatguydylan314 It is not a luxury vehicle it is just a Toyota that is more expensive.
Only for fanboys.
I recently purchased the bronze and black two tone Crown and it is a beautiful car with great handling. In my area these cars are selling as soon as they hit the lot and in some cases before they hit the dealership lot. We get many complements on the car and it being so new to the US market it gets a lot of attention when on the road.
Excellent review as always!
Amazing video guys.
I’m starting to see these more and more on the road!
Nice looking car . Cool color . Great video guys , thanks
I drove the base model as a rental in Japan. Definitely interesting. I drove it back-to-back with an LS500 (also a rental) and noticed that it is only slightly nosier and slightly bumpier. The tech is much more modern than the LS, and the seats on both cars are pretty comfy as well.
Extremely nice vehicle, and another awesome review!
I love the Toyota crown
I loved the Avalon before the "designers" made it look like a laughing stock with the hyper-aggressive grilles. Same with Camry. I like the look of the upcoming 2025 Camry, however. Toned it way down. Finally.
Holy cow, how did I miss this one? What a stunning car. 340 HP too, man, that's sweet. Great review brothers, thanks.
Pure hp will never replace the smoothness of luxury.
56k for a "premium" car with a Camry interior? Despite the apparent interior updates for 2024, the interior is still not befitting of a flagship vehicle.
The price is someblwhat dear(about $15K more than a loaded Camry XSE V6) for a mainstream brand and considering that cars are a hard-sell right now, it is rather ambitious. That said, considering what Lexus is putting out right now in interiors, this seems to actually out-Lexus some Lexus vehicles(looking at you nee RX/TX). And at least they gave it the power that is requisite with the lofty price.
😮😂 I like the interior. Its buying a lexus without the price
I’ve been surprised at cars I thought weren’t so nice and luxurious in videos and pics ended up really impressive in person. I’m going to check a Crown out soon to find out.
I’ll go with the new Camry 2025😂
56K because that battery/ev junk isn't cheap
Would you recommend a sedan cars on a snowy roads in state like minnesota?
I actually like the side profile of the vehicle
Always a big fan of your videos guys! Of course, my favorite things for every video, your opener, “what’s going on, KZhead!“, And now I can add donuts for the center console - awesome touch. But my new favorite now is when Drew does the slam dunk and the way his legs go up in the air! Ha ha ha I love it! Great work guys!
Thank you!
It’s very nice and cool, I like it! It’s different!
good lord....that colour is just magnificent.
Hello, did you like this or Hyundai Palisade driving experience better? Concerns for maintenance? Very different cars but am considering one or the other
WOW ! I LOVE the color !
Missing a lift back is such a big missing opportunity. I love sedans but I do love a lift back even more when cars are this long.
I thought the same thing.
The Crown Signia will be the crossover version.
@@JWFas late reply but I love the crown “sport” proportion more. Still like hatch sport sedan but would love upgrade to crown sport from my current Camry 2019
Thx from Poland
Very nice Toyota that is one thing they do amazing with the Toyota and Lexus branding it is almost the same size as an Avalon with the trunk space
Very nice Super Toyota style Love it Great review
Thanks!
And there it is the famous grey plastic vibe.
I can’t fathom paying mid 50s for a Toyota that’s almost as much as the price of a fully loaded Lexus ES350.
Yes of course & I'm planning on buying one.
Conclusion it's a good looking smart and reliable sedan or in UK we call it a saloon car especially the crown platinum hybrid max a lot of people like it as I do very much so.
Toyota crown actually looks really good
The back profile of the car reminds me of the Audi A7, also a beautiful car.
Wow, I love this Crown is great. Powerful and the exterior design is awesome Looks better than the Camry. Love Drew.
I love the crown but the sunroof doesn't open up like the xse. as well as the xse doesn't have much space like the crown. like both idk what to do lmao
Very nice toyota quality. Any remarks as compared to Genesis 70 sedan
This will be the 2025 Lexus es 350 can’t wait 🔥
How long time does it take to come to the top of the combustion engines torque curve and the max horsepower ? Love the car 🤩
Not too long, the Electric Motors help reduce Turbo Lag
It would look good without the black two tone paint…….same with bizzy 4x
23:18 it's priced accordingly sure, but I'll take this over an Accord for sure.
looks, drives and feels like a Toyota, nothing else. At least it's not trying to imitate anyone.
Its really nice but too expensive for a Toyota, I don't see them selling too many of these.
It reminds me when Cressida was the top line and luxurious compared to the Camry. Cressida was our version of this crown that we did not have in the USA
Oh yeah
Looks inspired by the Nissan Ariya, down to the paint color.
im torn either getting this or the new honda accord
Crown or ES300h?
Expected much more from the interior.
Is there a spare tire, you forgot to cover under the trunk space!
Is there spare tire?
yes there is
Nice review guys, thanks! Hated the look of this when it came out, but it’s growing on me. However…. No color but black for the interior on the Platinum, and no HUD? I could live without the HUD (although I shouldn’t have to at this price - I have one on my ‘21 46K Mazda CX-9 Signature), but will never buy another car with a boring black interior. I want something pretty, with contrast!
I have a video idea can you guys do a competition between Cadillac Escalade-V and Range Rover please?
Can you use heated and ventilated sits simultaneously?
No
Web Sight is confusing. Pushed me to an another non Car Confections web sight, I just wanted to do some comparisons and brought me to your video comparisons. I couldn’t find the sound level reading page
Perhaps you clicked on an ad... Here's a direct link to the sound level readings: carconfections.com/sound-level-readings/
Drove one and it left a lot to be desired. Gonna try the new Sonata once the 2024 hybrid comes out here.
This is gonna be a hit with the retired demographic. Can't wait to see a bunch of these being driven slowly in the passing lanes in the near future.
Don’t forget, I’ll also have my blinker on!! LOL 🤣
Already happening here in FL!
I’m in my 30s and I want this lol
I was literally saying this looks like an old person car.
whaaat I want one I’m 27 lol
That's a big ass car
Where is the crown sport??
Do all new vehicles have that annoying bell when one starts the motor? If so, I hope it can disconnect.
I like this car but when I found out it has a sunroof that doesn’t open that was the deal breaker for me all that money for a glass top I don’t think so gonna check out the grand highlander
It’s a Gorgeous car ! But too expensive
Not for us that have the money 😂
@@burningknuckle26 We could afford it, but we’d rather invest our money in something that appreciates and not depreciates. I’ve Always been frugal. I suppose that’s why we own 2 apartment complexes and 8 homes in San Diego, San Louis Obispo , Santa Barbara, Seattle. Sadly our beach front house burned down in the Lahaina fire.
For years, I critiqued Toyota for its too cautious approach to its cars. That changed with the Camry XSE/TRD and the now departed Avalon TRD. Now we have this Crown that is completely unorthodox to what we assume about the sensible Toyota brand. Somehow, they've merged their hybridized mission with emotional excitement for its over mainstream mission. It is efficient, has decent performance, doesn't look like any other vehicle on the road right now, and practical. I do believe the price of the loaded Platinum models is maybe $5-7K too rich, considering this certainly encroaches on loaded ES350 territory and even entry E350/540i/A6 class.(and those have favorable lease rates to boot). But I applaud Toyota for trying to make the sedan-class remain relevant, while trying to wash away the "old-person" image of the Avalon.
the two-tone paint makes me dislike it but otherwise interesting
It’s got the same center glove compartment as my 2019 Lexus ES 350 almost matching dash screen as my 2019 Lexus ES 350.WOW and that a new car 😂 lol
7:15 love the wording 😂
Really sexy car, but that price tag isn't.
Does it is use premium gas ?
Is this a full size sedan? Can anyone know. Tell me ❤
Its a full size sedan
Naming it Crown when they should named it Avalon. I miss my Avalon be doing 100mph on the freeway and it didn't feel going that speed.
It wouldn’t have sold
A rose by any other name. . .
Ohh no no no. I love everything about the car except for that huge dashboard sticking out when the door is open. The chassis and interior design teams clearly didn't coordinate well.
56k? Im getting the ES350 Ultra Lux for the same money, plus much better ride quality and noise isolation cabin
And the sunroof opens on the Lexus
But no AWD
@Ramnugg yea i dont care bout that, but some people will 🤷♂️
2024 Toyota Crown Hybrid MAX 2.4L Turbo 4-Cylinder 6-Speed Automatic AWD Platinum Crossover Sedan!
Good looking overall but i cant get over the boring steering wheel toyota has, they need to update that asap
7:13 lmfaooo 😂
Love the two tone copper, but front is pretty plain looking, and backend looks cheap/ugly. Side profile is great though.
No power lift gate on plat trim???
The crown looks much better in one color. The two tone look is not great

Pasted from a brochure?
Wow ! Your car knowledge is cool . Thanks
The back looks like they forgot to finish design and affects the side profile. The interior does not look premium at all. I feel like lot of missed opportunity with this.
I personally don't like car interiors that "look" premium. I love this interior. It's extremely simple yet classy without being try-hard and shiny like it's supposed to be in a douchey yacht.
No head up display !????? Why Toyota !!!!!
The Avalon and Camry offer a hud 😂
kinda looks like a 2024 sonata with a butterface
this one or C300?
I like the crown but I wouldn’t buy it because the sunroof doesn’t open and that’s a zonk for me
I really wish they had incorporated the crown logo more.
No hood shocks is bs on a 55k car
Toyota can't even sell these cars. My local Toyota dealership has 13 of these on the lot.
Maybe you can get one at invoice
I've been researching the Crown at great length, but for a car that will cost you 60k to drive off the lot with (destination charges and taxes), it really needs a HUD, a more luxury interior, power trunk and a premium sound system (the 11 speaker JBL is a HUGE let-down, sound-wise). This feels like a well-to-do AWD Camry with a higher stance and a bigger engine. You can get a loaded Ultra-Luxury Lexus ES350 for this same money. I'm very torn.
It is an interesting car for sure. I do not think it will sell well. Not very attractive and a niche area of the market. That said the step up cars like an Audi A6 will run 10-15k more.
What is that color
Copper
I would say given the price point they are sitting in Mid Size SUV territory 😅 If you want something that does even better in snow you might as well spend that 50-60,000 on a 4Runner, GMC Acadia/Terrian, or literally any other AWD/4WD vehicle that has even better ground clearance and exponentially more interior room🤷♂️ And having massive rims like this is a negative to every car, impacts ride performance and the noise, imagine if it had 17” or 18” rims and filled that wheel-well with actual Tread. Low Pro Tires are absolutely horrendous in places snow actually sticks to the ground👌😅
I was thinking a Palisade Calligraphy for this price.
For Electric cars Toyota have been a bit slow to the market...!! Wow... so polite of an enormous understatement.😆😍
I think they will suffer from easy flats if you don’t have good pavement. And I prefer a little more wall on my tires.
When you exceed 19 inches handling improves very little, but ride quality declines big time.
Love it, but 21" is too much 😮
It's unique in a good way in my eyes, but it's a vehicle nobody asked for. It's also the only mainstream large sedan currently for sale.
You guys look tiny in that thing! The Crown is cool but it reminds me of that movie where Martin Short gets stung by a bee and the allergic reaction turns a little guy into a supersized, puffy version of a little guy.
Who is going to buy this? What is the target market for this car? It's like they mixed together the Avalon and Venza but nobody looking for an Avalon would buy this nor anyone looking at the Venza would want this.
I’m probably the target demographic for this but I won’t consider it because it should have a liftback.
55 k for plastic cladding. Big NO.
I love the new Camy (and I own the 2023 one) but I dislike this "Crown". Especially its design, wheels and... price
A vehicle can only be defined in two ways: utility or lack of utility. Utility is better than lack of utility. Each week has 168 hours, and most personal vehicles are parked about 160-163 hours each week. All passenger vehicles have seats, windows, climate control, doors, windows, etc... they all are basically identical tools. Choose utility at a reasonable price over bling at an unreasonable price and invest/trade the difference to grow the wealth you'll require after retirement age. It makes zero sense to park your cash in a parking lot, driveway, or garage when you could be putting it to work gaining more cash - which actually has a lot of utility.
7:12 🤦🏿♂️🤣😂
