Engineering background here although I own a Toyota Camry I’m gonna say neither I think you get a lot more out of a Kia Q5 or a Hyundai Sonata . Toyota and Honda are in competition with each other to see who could come up with the most bland and boring design it’s usually a tie😂
Another downside to the new Camry is good luck finding one that won't be gouged by the dealer, the toyota has so much hype around it at the moment
@@ericc2530 F'in dealers man....smh
@@ericc2530how did you preorder? Did you order online or by calling
@Vegitobluuuuu you can do that. But they will bs you for 40. They won't give you a deal until you wasted their salesman's time. In person, the longer the better price you gonna get.
toyota is ugly junk. nothing like Mercedes.
Yep, same thing happened/happening with the sienna when the hybrid became standard.
Award Camry another .5. It still has a spare tire, the Accord does not.
Toyota has my vote all the way!!
The Accord looks sophisticated. The Camry looks sporty.
where is the sophistication in the look, i can not find it
@@user-mohamed2uuse your eyes
@@user-mohamed2u The Accord looks more conservative.
@@kc_1018 here you go you are right
The Accord looks like a Ford Taurus, The Camry looks like a cheaper Lexus.
I like the new Honda Accord but I'm picking the Toyota Camry
The only 2 things i don't like about the Accord is not having heated steering and not have 360 camera. I'll take the Accord because it looks better to me
Toyota never die, its always a bulletproof.
I'll take the Toyota Camry all day long
💯
I own a Honda and I agree
Yes, i second this. Love Toyota but sadly i drive a 12 Honda accord my evryday commuter
@@sergioramirez1693 but the accord serves you well , right ?
Not if a barely used accord saves you 5k
Y’all quick with it🔥‼️
I prefer the Bose sound system in the accord
Like the saying goes….no highs and no lows….it must be Bose
The Bose is so crisp sounding
I haven't heard the bose system in the Accord, but the system in the CR-V is excellent in its class.
Also, after market hybrid battery on a Camry is much cheaper than what you could get with a Honda. And the Accord has a fix a flat kit, Camry has a spare tire.
Enjoyed the review. I’ve put a reserve deposit down on the new Camry. If I like the drive I’ll be trading my Accord. Just fun facts too the XLE has memory seats and rain sensing wipers so those are available features just like the Accord Touring. I’m looking at the XLE with the Premium plus package.
The Camry XLE has rain sensing wipers and memory seats and might have been a better comparison to the Honda Accord Touring?
The accord has those features also
@@jayo8484 yes but I meant that the XLE would be a better comparison against an Accord Touring.
@@user-oy4cz9uo3n o read that wrong
@@user-oy4cz9uo3nno cus the XSE is the highest trim
@@oasisofficial9504 it's the "sportier" trim, but the XLE has more options, like the rain sensing wipers and memory seats :)
Your channel is just getting better and better. Good job!
Thank you, friend!
Accord in person looks really good and mature. But wish they had a v6 or just a turbo 4 sport option
What do you need speed for in a basic sedan?? If you want something with power up your tax bracket and buy a big boy foreign, my goodness
I would pick the Camry, I love the one with the red interior
This is really nice review and comparison.
Although it is sad times that the Toyota 2GR-FE V6 and Honda 2.0T are no longer on offer for either(although the prices are still the same🤔), I'm glad to see that Honda and Toyota are both still invested in the car game. The Honda comes across as more mature, whereas the Toyota seems to be the more "fun" choice. Then again, neither seems to push away from their predecessors in a way that the 2018 models of both did, so I call this a wash...
Do you have to pay for the remote start after trial? I thought that was just for on your phone. Our 2012 Lexus just had you press the lock key 3 times to start- no subscription required.
I think the Camry has it on the fob. You have to press the lock 3 times and on the 3rd press you hold the button.
Fantastic comparison as always!😸
Drove an Accord Sport trim for a week in Florida. It was a wonderful experience.
Two things on the XLE vs XSE: memory seats and rain sensing wipers. Would have made a difference on points.
I was thinking the same thing!
But he was comparing the highest trim of the accord which is the touring and the highest trim of the Camry which is the XSE. It would not make sense to compare the touring with a lower trim
@@oasisofficial9504 The XSE is the high trim of the sport side the XLe is the high trim of the luxury side
the XLE and XSE are BOTH the highest trims with different focuses
I like the new Camry. Just a little crazy they put memory seats on the XLE and not the XSE lol
Toyota con sus raras aveces jajaja
Why do you guys always use different songs for testing the sound?? How do we then differentiate ?? Good reviews though ✨✨✨💯
I literally just asked myself yesterday why there aren't more reviewers reviewing the updated versions of these two vehicles. Thanks guys
That new Camry is looking pretty good and with AWD 🔥😍👌🏻💯
Need a review on the 2024 Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid, very few reviews on that specific vehicle trim
I like the new Camry
I really love your no-nonsense, data-driven, unemotional reviews. That's why I subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great work. I drive a 2017 Prius, and I am waiting for the 2025 or 2026 Prius at this point. I hope the new Prius is larger. If the 2025 Camry is 41k, it looks like the 2025 Prius will be as well 😢. What will Toyota do to distinguish the Prius from the Camry aside from the hatchback now? Making the 5th gen Prius so much smaller than 4th gen is a huge drawback. With the 2023/2024 Prius recall, anyone interested in the new Prius basically has to wait for 2025 model anyway. 😢
Thank you! We appreciate that!
I love my Touring, I just wish Honda would have made an AWD trim with a pano sun roof. Other than that it’s such a great and comfy car. It’s is insanely comfortable and I get great gas mileage (40 MPG). For it being a 2.0 L 4 Cylinder it has great power as well. I fully ceramic coated the exterior and interior where there is piano black and it just looks amazing.
I have the new Accord and I absolutely love it, so I will say the Accord. However I think the Toyota Crown looks better than the new Camry, but that's just my opinion.
It's a bad opinion
The Crown is absolutely ghastly looking! It looks even worse in person. Ugly as sin…. 🤢🤮
@@joeblow-xy3ozNo such thing as a “bad opinion” when it comes to looks of cars which is more subjective as per the viewer’s taste.
Yeah. I love the crown but it just needs to be better for the price. It doesn’t have a HUD, ambient lighting, power trunk (I don’t really care for a power trunk but for the price…), opening sunroof, etc. Also rear seats are only 1 stage heated.
Crown better but more expensive
Thank you guys, I would like to add spare parts and maintenance in comparison.
40k on a midsize mainstream sedan? This is why people are getting SUV's, and no wonder the sedan market is dying
Most of these will sell in the $30k range. You need to check all the options boxes on the highest trim levels to get to $40k. If you think it’s a bad deal check out the pricing on Rav4s and CRVs, they’re not cheaper.
@michaelw6277 crazy how things are these days. Just saying if you have 40k in your pocket, most people will choose a SUV than getting a midsize sedan
@@kevinartacho2088yeah probably … I think for $40k I personally would still choose a sedan. If I needed more interior volume I’d buy an Odyssey or Sienna.
And yet current avg new car selling price is $48K….these loaded vehicles are thousands less. Heck a very basic 2024 Tacoma SR5 is sec grand more more than these loaded up great sedans. So yeah there’s your proper perspective
@@jonathanratliff4780 that’s a great point. I hadn’t even realized that fully loaded they’re still under the average.
Yall couldn’t wait oh gosh
I own 2019 accord hybrid touring and has not let me down. Not a single issue. I would have another accord any day.
The Camry XLE trim has memory seats and rain sensing wipers on the premium package but not the XSE
It comes down to the intangibles both are great choices
Guys, does Camry come with a spare tire? You guys did not cover that in the review. I know Honda does not have a spare (I drive a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring Model)
Great review !! No losers on these two soild sedans.
Accord is the looser here
Toyota is really going off these recent years love to see it
I am incredibly biased, but Google maps on the Accord is its killer feature. I would love an AWD option, but that's the only thing on the Camry I'd be sad to miss in comparison.
Yes. Not having to pay for navigation is nice
I have a 2024 hybrid sport and I love this thing. But something tells me I’d be just as happy with the 2025 Camry. Can’t go wrong with either
You guys are amazing. I subscribed about 2 months ago I think, have been watching all of your uploads since then. Good stuff every day or the other. :)
Thank you! Welcome to the Car Confections family!
Hey guys. How would you compare this to the 2024 Sonata Hybrid Limited?! Would love to know your thoughts.
Some say new camry is better in many ways than Accord, but while I hoped Honda did more, I still would choose it over camry.
The only thing the Accord does better is interior space. The Camry outpaces it in everything else.
If only Honda offered the Accord with AWD as the Altima, K5, and Sonata now offer AWD in this shrinking segment
I prefer the Accord too
The accords ui and infotainment is wayyy better than the Camrys
@@kevinbonquyquy1047 The Accord doesn't even have a 360 degree camera. It's bare bones, by comparison.
Ironically, when I was shopping for a hybrid sedan 2-3 weeks ago, I ended up going option C, and got a 2023 Hyundai Sonata hybrid. Got the luxury features and 50+ mpg on the highway (I have a long highway commute) and I got a deal on the price, so it beat both of these options, depsite my liking them. The bang for the buck on the Hyundai just couldn't be beat.
Hopefully it lasts as long. I like what Kia/Hyundai are doing, but I don't quite trust them yet
@@Radykall1 I, honestly, can't say I fully trust them either. Getting the car for almost 5K under invoice was mighty persuasive though.
I wish you luck and hope you picked a good one because hyundai is not the most reliable and there hybrids have more problems.
It would be better if you go with the honda or toyota in that way you can save a lot of money in the long run with reliability compared to hyundai. You may have save 5k upfront but the reliability if hyundai is questionable, visits to repair shops might be frequent in along the road and you will end up spending a lot of money.
That Camry is even more in this video. It had the optional wheel package another $1,500. That being said, I like and prefer the Accord. It’s more classy and mature looking inside/out. Have a 23 Touring myself.
The new honda taurus looks good, but ill take thw camry
You mean the Kia Kamry lol😂
I have seen like 3 different recalls on the new accord so far
I love both. Both are good options.
Both super solid...but Accord gets destroyed in the sound test. Hard pass onnthe noisy interior.
Revised tires make a differences
How about neither one? Who wants a 4-cylinder hybrid? A couple years ago, Accord and Camry both came with V6 engines. More power, more reliable too.
No one buys V6's for economy cars anymore. They accounted for just 6% of Camry sales before they were discontinued. Hybrids are the future, they've been refined for over 20 years now.
I wish I had v6 2009 Camry but luckily I got v4 that doesn’t burn oil yet even though it has 118k miles 💪🏾
Can you guys compare the crown vs Camry whenever you guys get the chance
Owned both. 98 accord. 07 camry. Can't go wrong either way.
Love the Accord looks but they are making the choice difficult - removing rear blinds and a no 360 cam.
Love Honda and Toyota but reluctant to by the Accord due to the lack of AWD.
Is the Camry XLE as quiet as the XSE?
The XLE is quieter ....
Far more
58 decibels in camry and 62.5 decibels in accord😂😂😂
You can also remote start the Camry. There is just not dedicated remote start button on the remote but you can remote start it. Of the two vehicles, I'd choose the Camry.
Thank you guys for the great video and I will take the Honda Accord looks very good ❤
Our pleasure!
I like the looks of Accord more. I don’t care about AWD or that Camry offers only hybrid. Accord is my choice.
The Accord from me because I like the cabin, seating position ad the small expensive feeling switchgear.
Camry, but it's close on the models you chose. If you compare high trim, FWD Camry vs. Accord Touring I believe the Camry price point difference will be significant.
I wish Honda would put a panoramic sunroof
I’ve owned both and my current choice would be the Camry. IMO it looks better and Toyota has been using their hybrid system consistently for 25 years, they have perfected the tech. Honda also has been doing it for 25 years but off and on with different technologies.
Camry offers more options, AWD, better gas mileage, and has more bang for your buck. I like the new accords a lot too, but the Camry definitely takes the cake
Camry looks much better than the accord
Have not driven the new Camry but the driver’s seat in the Accord was more comfortable than the previous Camry and the Accord engine was smoother. Looks are subjective but the new Accord looks more expensive.
This time Camry
you may also put the IIHS rating for all the vehicles reviewed. Safety should not be overlooked when buying a vehicle.
What would be the equivalent for a Camry XLE?
ACCORD EX-L SEDAN
ACCORD EX-L SEDAN
For the camry i recommend the xle it has the most luxury feel and look. Id only get the xse if i want more sporty.
Both are great but Toyota has edge.
toyotas for life❤
I would go for the Camry. Toyota has been in the business of hybrids longer than Honda and the reliability should carry over to the Camry.
Both are great options if you don't want to join the SUV bandwagon. Accord for me. Its iihs ratings are stellar and Honda's revised hybrid system is brilliant. Why spend 18:49 40k for a sedan vs SUV? Looks better, handles better , rides better and in the Accord case has loads of room
Seeing them side by side, I prefer the clean lines of the Accord vs. the busy lines of the Camry. Admittedly, the Accord might be a bit too conservative and the Camry is a bit too busy, but if I had to sign on the line for one of them, it would be the Accord.
So the Camry doesn't have rain sensing wipers?
Camry xle has rain sensing vipers and memory seats both...it has 360° camera, panoramic roof , homelink and awd.. Which accord doesn't offer
The Camry XSE doesn't have rain sensing wipers nor memory seats. Defnitely not a deal breaker but odd that it's offered only on XLE which isn't the highest trim. In terms of looks, the XSE is a winner. Beats the Accord also especially with the red leather seats & black headliner. XLE seems a bit boring looking.
Particularly in the lower trims the Camry is much superior to the Accord IMO. Compare the Camry LE to the Accord LX for standard features, gas mileage, etc. The Camry is definitely better - no comparison really.
How about camry vs sonata?
Out of everything, reliability is the key. 07 camry is much better and more reliable than 07 accord. Camry always ♥️ gets my credit.
No spare tire in the Accord is a big fail. All 2025 Camrys have one. You should include in your reviews whether the vehicle has one or not. Nice comparison!
I wonder how the 2025 Camry will match up with the 2025 Honda Accord?
The Camry is good in so many ways, but the Accord simplicity just work wonders. Also, why the new Prius look so much better than the Camry. I stick with Accord simple and elegant looks.
Yea well that’s you it rather get the Camry looks more sporty and faster the accord has the same design and and honestly nothing impressive
The Bose sound system and Google built in is definitely better than JBL system any day.
Should've done touring vs XLE. Top trim vs top trim
Honestly the Camry for me all day, more power, same mpg, AWD, pano roof, much sportier design on both the inside and outside. The Accord doesn’t look bad, it’s just boring when compared to the Camry. Thought Honda would’ve added AWD to the new accord but they didn’t. Im also pretty sure the Camry offers memory seats and rain sensing wipers on the XLE
I love the sophisticated look of the Accord interior, prefer the Camry exterior. Prefer the Toyotas hybrid probably overall. Accord has amazing amounts of space.
You rock❤
I sat in the accord since I was considering buying it but it felt way too long
I will go for the accord any time any day
The problem with the Honda Taurus is that it looks like it’s ready for retirement. Such a pity. 😢😂 That Camry is something else tho 👀👑
I've owned both cars in slightly older models, and I'd definitely say that if you want to have fun dribbling on the road, you should choose the Camry. If you want German technology, you should choose the Accord.
Didnt mention no heated steering wheel for accord in America
5:35
I've had a few Accords, never a Camry, but have had other Toyota's. My .02, the Accord's have all been surprisingly fun to drive and comfortable for the most part. It's nice Honda finally decided to offer a decent sound system, although I'm not a huge fan of Bose car audio, but it's got to be a step up from what the Accord offered in the past for the "premium audio" option. But cosmetically, they don't hold up as well - exterior body panels *will* rust anywhere there is a rock chip or scratch, the rubber bits will all break down under the sun and become gooey and cracked, sheet metal is very thin and the paint is delicate. Toyota's seem to hold up better in this regard, with better quality steel, exterior rubber and paint, and less proclivity for rust. But when you move to the inside, Honda interiors, excluding their poor quality leathers that shrink and harden with any exposure to water, do seem more cohesive and tend to look nicer, longer. I don't know what it is with Honda choosing for far too long to use the worst quality leather possible, but I wouldn't count on the leather staying nice for the long term unless you manage to NEVER get any moisture on it. Toyota has always used better leather (except the steering wheel, Honda does use full grain on that where Toyota uses what seems like bonded leather or mid-grain with a vinyl paint that looks like trash after a few years). So neither car checks all the boxes, really, but they both look like a pretty solid value for the price point, which honestly seems insane to say when you're talking about $40k which used to buy a really nice near-luxury car. But that's where we are.
Both very competitive cars Accord is sportier , has better material but Toyota has better power train and reliability
Camry 👊 I'll wait until the Fall until I buy one.
I really enjoy these types of videos. I need to thank you for giving us such a great comparison. I like both cars a lot, so I am going to decide on the one that gives me the best deal in the dealership.
Glad you like them!
