I am a simple man, see a interesting picture of a car, 80's in the title, I click.
It was a good click.
EXACTLY what i did.
same shit here ahah !

going back to the 80s is going back to the FUTURE ⏩
good music
i love the cyberpunk concept... wonder how much time to reach.
Amen!
true
we are the future, synth has gone back to us.
Ah... the 80's. The decade that should never have ended.
Dude, this may be synthwave, but _none_ of it is from the 80s. This is modern synth from 21st century artists.
Duuude…If the 80’s never ended, this compilation wouldn’t exist.
You look like Michael Stevens from Vsauce
@@bigcheese3457 heeeeey V-Sauce here
It'll be back.
Subconciously we all feel drawn back to the 80's because we know life was better then.
no it wasnt
and if not better, was way less worse than nowdays
TRUE DAT
@@Stormy2142 We didn't have to deal with the logistic hell of milisecond communcations across the world. The music was happier, there wasn't COVID which did a lot to the current generation, and did more damage than vietnam to people. People weren't addicted to technology, there was some economic suffering during the 80s but it is not as bad as the 2007 recession, Housing was cheaper, and the govt didnt want your rights as much. Also corporations couldn't squeeze as much from people.
2 hours and 6 minutes?!? How am I going to fit this much radness onto my Maxell 120 cassette?
Autoreverse that shit, niggah
Split it onto multiple tape parts fool.
Well I had a psych evaluation back in 2010.. Doc said I was sane. I suppose a lot can change in 7 years though.
Slow down your tape recorder...
Take TWO C-60 Maxell XL-II S tapes! They roughly have a bit over 63 minutes playing time per piece, so there you have your 2h06m of playing time... but why not take an open reel recorder like an Akai GX-747, or a Technics RS-1500US or a Teac X-2000R, set tape speed at 9,5cm/s and take a good quality 10,5" tape? A real studio tape (50µm thickness) will give you 2h12m of playing time this way, a long play tape (35µm thick) like the Maxell XL-1 will even give you over 3 hours! Now THAT is 80s!!
I'am not 80s or even 90s kid, but i rather listen to this than some mumble rap shit. Lovin this.
Me too
HURR DURRR LE WRONG GENERATION NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS XD
@@glitchyx6995 Ur just has hur dur btw
you weirdo
@gameplayer1188 why not listen to the best of both worlds? listen to the mumble and the classic shit enjoy life
Not even born in the 80's and still, this is an masterpiece.
You know its good music when you can study, work out or sleep to it!
haha ya that's me!
best comment!
Maybe one or two songs
*can't 😂
Nostalgia for all us 80's kids. We know....we all know.
Tom Rees Not even an 80s kid but I love this.
And also for 90s kid's from "pop culture fall behind countries" like mine)
There was still a lot of 80's culture lingering around in the mid 90's in America. I grew up in the late 90's and this feels nostalgic to me too.
Nostalgia? LOL in the 80s this "Bands" dosent exist, they are all new LOL
@@PICHONJUAREZ you clearly missed the point. Not the brightest, are you?
Proof that culture peaked in the eighties. Thanks for this video.
Revisiting the 80s isn't just a trip down memory lane; it's a journey back to the future. The vibrant and groundbreaking essence of that era remains a timeless blueprint for what we envisioned the future to be. Its retro-futuristic charm and innovative spirit continue to shape our imagination of what's yet to come, echoing a sense of nostalgia that propels us forward into a futuristic realm.
Sentiment shared here. 80's are timeless, nostalgic, original, and not duplicated since.
This music comes alive at night! 80s power 💪
Man, this compilation is the definition of the 80s.
No, it isn't.
I only discovered Synthwave a few years ago but I'm hooked. I grew up in the 80's so that era holds a lot of special memories for me with music and films in particular
I want to drive that car listening to this
Roger Peixoto Yeah!
that sounds like an orgasm in less than 1.2 seconds :D btw. great mix d(^.^)b
you have to fix the tires tho, wrong with for those rims
That car will drive YOU xD
Not with that ugly stancing though. You need to lower camber and get normal rims ASAP, otherwise it's not very driveable, especially not with those afterburners.
the 80s was lit
aaron the 80s man for those who lived it they lived it like any other time but looking back at it, it was truly the human peak everything was so stylish
We had so much hope for the future back then. Now...
as long as we.. the 80s kids are here. you got nothing to worry about. we got control NOW!!!.🔊😎📼
Mr. MOTORMASTER I was born in 75 but consider myself an 80s kid. 80s children unite! :) This music takes me back. Makes me think of 80s dance clubs with fog & crazy lights going all over the place.
Don't forget Miami Vice!
I just love the 80's! The movies... The toys... And of course the music!
God, I love this 80s stuff, the decade was the best.
Yup but not the AIDS part😳
Perfect soundtrack for nightshifts.
Next thing You know You've found Yourself on The Grid.
Kevin Sullivan if only
Good luck with work.
Hell yes, have this blaring when it's my turn to clean the office.
Working as an Uber driver, or a truck driver or any kind of driver for that matter, at midnight listening to this music, must be so surreal
Steps for creating the best Synthwave mixes: 1. Include at least one Megadrive track 2. Done
Megadrive definitely has their own sound in the synth genre, can always tell when it's one of their tracks. Makes me feel like I'm in 1984 Terminator or something...
Yeah man exactly. Strong 1984 Terminator feel.
Im a 13 Year old and NEVER though 80s Retro Electro Could SOUND SO GOOD!
This is by FAR the Best Synthwave Mix I´ve ever listened
Music that connects time and space.
Who is still listening to this in 2024? 🤙🤘
Me
This is 2019? I’ll go back in time and fix what ever went wrong for all of us !
Fuck the 2010's and the 2020's! The 1980's, 90's and pre-2010's were BETTER!
who else has looked at this picture literally 100 times and not noticed the bullet hole in the glass?
In my defence, I was watching it in 144p xD
@@KartikayBagla 😁😁😁👌
Me
I saw it. I get bullet holes in my cars on GTA. No big deal. lol
Well shit....there it is
3 seconds in and already I'm busting out my moves and pressing a thumbs up.
I lived through the 80's they were the BEST!!!
the 80s was the best decade by far hands down
I've never completely loved the sound of every single track on one of these long playlists... Until now. Yah, I'm a Gen-X, and discovering this sound is great. Gives me hope and happiness. Can't get enough.
I feel like scarface driving nightrider while fighting deceptocons and along with thundercats and Voltron and Gi joe telling me Knowing is half the battle YAAAAAAS!
All while watching Miami Vice
And playing cyperpunk 2077 on PC.
...and training Gymkata...
It's so fun when all my personalities finally agree on something, like listening to this
"Even now fight to survive somewhere, beyond the heavens..." 45:38 I had to rewind and listen to that line a few times to believe they really used the line from the old BattleStar Galatica intro. The nostalgia is real in this mix! Thank you!!!
That Lamborghini Countach sort of looks like what would have been the "Back to the Future" Car if they decided to use the Countach instead of the Delorean.
Agreed
Tho the Countach doesn't really fit the title, given that it was released in 1973 and it says "back to the 80s" xD
The Countach was the flagship model for Lamborghini from 74 to 90. It reached the zenith of its popularity in the 80s and actually underwent dramatic visual redesigns over the years such that the late 80s version looked nothing like the 70s version. It was peak 80s -- big style, big flares, big fun. Gotta get your Doug Demuro game on point :-P

These playlists got me through some long shifts of IT Auditing work back in the late 2010's. Thank you!
CAN NOT BEAT THE 80'S and these tracks nail it
Great music to be cruising at the beach with your dog and windows down.
Im 96‘ but damn…this kind of music is just legendary..cant stop hearing it
The Countach seems to be one of the most iconic cars of the 80's, such a strange/futuristic for the era yet nice looking car
"Honey, where are you going?" "I'm just going on a Tokyo Rose Midnight Chase. Be back in about 2 hours."
the 80s will live on... 😎
Cyber God #AlwaysN4Eva!! #80sNeverDie ✌✌💯💯
I want this to be the soundtrack of my life!
than it is
Well i can help you? (ps i never actually played hotline miami) 1. Get a car 2. Go to Miami 3. Get high asf and shot people 4. You did it! 5. I should really stop.... 6. Nah :D
Nah, the "Back To The Future" DMC for me
11:47 terminator vibe
Absolutely
Wheres my WW3 Update
Data Line by Mega Drive sounds like a sci-fi action thriller from the 1980s. Awesome. Terminator meets Blade Runner in Tron.
More 80s than actual 80s music
tell me you've never listened to 80s music without telling me you never listened to 80s music
can never find this type of music in Spotify, legend!
Synthwave is on Spotify. The Prime Thanatos even has an awesome 21 song playlist saved on there. Check it out!
this is so calming for me, i listen to this and im wisked away into a futuristic city where aliens walk the streets but they are as peaceful as you or me
I'm 00s kid but damn 80s was lit.
We had great bands and great tunes.
im not old enough to remember the 80s. but must say, the music you old codgers had sure kicks the snot out of the crap being made today.
OMG!!! How I love the 80s!!!
Europe in the 80's = Dreamland!
This is what I will be blasting in my 82 Supra from now on...
Cars from that era were slow as shit. After the early 70's performance cars went downhill due to regulations until the late 90's. But got way better after the 2010's Supras were straight up garbage until the MK4. And the MK4 was average at best unless heavily modded putting in tens of thousands into it. JDM cars are cringe anime, Fast and Furious wanna be garbage for teenage kids. German, Italian, and American are true performance cars. From italian Supercars, to Hellcats, to BMW's(supras), to the badass GT500s, and the almighty Audis, Corvettes, and ZL1s. May true beast cars reign forever world and strike down cringe JDM trash.
The 80's, a decade that feels like it should never have ended. 🕺🌟📼
Feeling like a kid again with this awesome mix
Thank YOU!
Mega Drive - Dataline 11:38 my all time favorite retro theme 🤩
Great track one of my favorites
Cyberpunk 2077 vibes
you're right dope song
Your into has to be by far the best i've ever seen
man this music is good. it is so good to be alive right now. i am serious.
This is a very impressive mix. Listened to it while solving a very complicated coding problem. Definitely will come back for more!
We love the 80's supermachines & vibes!
I just want to drive down some wet neon-lit streets at night while this is playing and the roar of my engine is humming in the background.
This is the perfect concept of "back to the future", This electronic music was said by the 80's musicians to be "the sound of the future" but it's been lost in time by he general public, and now it's being picked up by younger indie artists to pay omage to the music of that era, literally taking us back to the music that was the sound of the future, taking us "back to the future".
Barely got into this type of music, friend told me what I'm listening, told him and now he is listening to it too.
That badass picture, and Fazzio - Midnight Rider .... Man, it's awesome !!!
And the music fits perfect. 🤙
Nostalgia even if you never have lived in these times.
When you like the 80's so much that you make a Lamborghini Countach time machine
Never knew what genre of music this was, always wondered. Love it!
I can't get over how fucking awesome this mix is..
FM Attack - With You Tonight is a gem
Just was trying to find some music to listen to as I study and came across this. Never listened to this kind of music before but I'm really digging it
It took me 20 minutes into this before I realized the counter in the top left hand corner. In my defense, I was preoccupied by jamming out to these righteous tunes.
I did not notice the counter until I read your comment
Did you also notice the smoke from the car is actually moving?
Me neither!
You make the best synthwave mixes!
The unforgettable 80's.✨
Cosmic Sand - 9h00 is so dope for late night driving.
A Lamborgini with a turbo nukeclear reactor now that's a car that I need in my life
If stock Countach wasn't dangerous enough
@@mattboi9105 yeah

Perfekt bei der Arbeit in der Nacht.
I love your work. It has literally become the soundtrack to my life now. thank you so much.
This mix absolutely SLAPS
That VHS nostalgia though!
Listening to this again , being born in '76 brings out the inner child in me again. Just about every city in the '80s downtown had an arcade. Nostalgia is where I'm at
FM Attack - best of the best!
Amazing mix, one of the firsts that I used to listen, now I´m running my own project on this amazing genre
hands down the best synthwave mix
Wow. wow. wow!!!!!!!! Nice track ........ The best ( Cosmic Sand - 9h00 )
It's a balm for the soul to remember those times.
Damn nice job. every song is beast.
A lot like your mom, actually.
oh.
Damn, this car looks like something you could drive underwater, on ground, fly with and go interstellar with ;D
This is the best 80's mix I've heard
That car SCREAMS the 80's! I love it!!!🤩😍😎🤘
Found this. Got energized as hell. Subscribed. Awesome mixes, man! Cheers.
Beautiful, a lot of love went into this
I love the addition of the sounds from pacman and streets of rage. I played sooooo much SoR growing up...I will never forget the sounds :D
Daniel Deluxe's Cerberus is my favorite track of this mix
I love your retro synth mixes so much. I have needed these in my life for so long after being a fan of so many retro soundtracks since the early 80's like in Robocop, Terminator, and the like. Turbo Kid, Kung Fury, and so many other soundtracks are my heart and soul, and these compilations perfectly fit my love for synth and retro tracks. Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up, and subscribed all the way! :D
hell ya
awesome mix! - rocking like mad geeker around 31:30
Synthwave mixes are awesome for programming and general office work background
I've been listening to this for 6 years now. Great playlist!
Yeah, there is a vibe that is the 80s, cheesy but cool at the same time. Thanks for this, it does stir up memories.
