Strangely, they think that her Passive, known for having some of the most anti-engagement in the game, is a better use of her power budget. Why shouldn't a Bruiser also be a Zoner? Hey, Z Broly! I didn't see you there; how's that tier list treating you. She looks really fun to play, though. She actually can get her "beam," interrupted, unlike old Z Broly.

This is the first time I ever hear of this game and my first impression is that the art team deserves a raise, both the style and animation are so clean.
I just hope some of the visibility gets polished. The hit sparks and effects still make it hard to see sometimes

@@yusuxin a typical fighter it makes sense but tag fighters are usually way more chaotic when it comes to visibility, like mvc3 for example. Plus as someone else said, it'll probably work better during play than in video form

@@cjjolly7326I don't think anything can top granblue's in character breakdowns for narration but this one is definitely amazing, it's a lot more in helpful than most since it focuses on character goals and playstyle instead of just their moves

Yo, her Ulitmate looks really good and a lot more cinematic and impactful than the rest of the cast. Gives me hope they'll go back and juice up some of the others for casuals . It needs to hit to pull them in.
Usually how it goes for 3D Fighters, first couple of characters always get Basic Super but then Devs get crazy with the rest of the cast after they learn what they can do with the engine. It why Ryu will always have a Super Fireball no matter what and why he has changes the least over the years in SF

Agreed, as a casual, that mostly played those really easy fighting games... using those cinematic supers were practically the only thing i wanted. This may be the first i may dedicate time for a fighting game that has true mechanics.

Thats Riot in general. All their games are very skill based and for a reason.
Many of the people working on the game are actually professional fighting game players in other games!

what do you mean by frame kill?
@@Doublejhobasically, some setups require specific timing which can be difficult to do on the spot 100% of the time So in order to be consistent, some setups use stuff like whiffing punches so that the timing of the player’s next move will align perfectly with the setup So like instead of manually waiting like 1 second, you can instead do a move that takes 1 second, then immediately do your next move That way you don’t have to think about timing for 1 second In the example you see timestamped (5:20), Illaoi “randomly” throws out two punches which seem to do nothing, but this is merely the player timing their setup These do-nothing attacks are called frame kills

Interesting timing to see this pop up at a week before EVO Japan. Not sure if this will mean we could have another trailer by the end of the week or if we are getting this out of the way early. Either way, it is nice to see Illaoi in action.
i wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some trailer to reveal new characters as this reveal was for people going to evo japan.
Katarina should be there as the new champions as she was in the original concept
they might finally show Jynx she's been mia since the first reveal
I'm looking forward to waiting another 6 months for any additional information or reveals.

I’ve been pumped to see this character after hearing all the content creators talking vaguely about playing her during that testing session last year and wow, she really looks incredible! I feel like once this game comes out I’m going to wind up getting attached enough to a character that I actually try LoL and that worries me 😂
So far all the chars have been amazingly fleshed out versions of their league selves. This dev team is amazing.
Hopefully she isn’t the only new character at EVO Japan, but she still looks great.

Lethal tempo is litteraly not unique at all sounds like a placeholder. Every fighting game could be named lethal tempo. But I thought people grew up and stopped caring about the name

As a long time Honda player, I'm curious what footsies look like in 2XKO these days. You showcase a lot of Illaoi's combos and damage dealing sets, but how does she play defensively? What's her block string counters look like? What's her ground recovery game like?

Looks really good! Great job! In the early version all attacks had the same shape, movement pattern and visual style. Now it looks distinct (size of collider), unique (different shapes and directions) and interesting (unique style and fitting Illaoi theme).

I hope the cosmetic features to this game are skins. I'm not very good at Fighting games but I'll have a lot more fun if I can play as Star Guardian Ahri or Dunkmaster Darius
The game is Free... Ofcourse they'll add Skins as a way to make this game afloat... I'll even buy Maps/Backgrounds with a pay wall as long as it's worth it.

I feel the same feeling when I first discovered Illaoi in league. My most favourite champion in this Runeterra universe, even in LOR.

I mean Ahri, Yasuo, Ekko, Jinx, Darius. And apparently Katarina and Draven are also going to be in the game. It quite literally is a roster of only the popular champs in League bar Illaoi so far.
I hope they keep this trend up. Next character could be someone cool and less popular like Jarvan or something

Make it for PS4 too! There is no reason to lose an installed base of over 100 million users
The game is probably too demanding to run well on PS4. Plus it might not release for another year or two, at which point the PS5 will be 5-6 years old and the PS6 probably won't be too long after. There's not really a point in holding the game back to run on hardware that's nearly two generations behind what will be current-gen shortly after the game releases.
