  • Sitting, listening to the serenity, hours after a friends passing, knowing that many new lives have arrived while he moves on to the great mystery beyond.

  • It's a unforgivable sin to put ad's in-between this divine rendition of Raag...

  • Sitting in the backyard with wireless headphones and listening to this Raga and watching the clouds passing by the moon and a cool late night breeze rustling the leaves ...

  • This raga helped me get through a night of sadness and personal termoil. It reminded me of the sublime, the eternal and the vastness of life. What is one night of hardship for one person when the entirety of existance is outside your door to be witnessed. To be grateful to have a chance to see moments in time; never to be repeated and never to be experienced by another living thing makes the lows worth while. Get out of your own head and look outwards to the beauty in the fabric of life.

  • When I first heard Bara Ustad (Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar) play his veena, in 1981 in Varanasi, I thought it was THE music. Forty years after I still think the same and experience the same bliss while listening to our beloved and respected Ustad. The guru never dies...

  • भारतीय संगीत यहां की संस्कृति का आधार है। मन को उच्चतम स्तर पर ले जाने में सक्षम है। और इसी से संस्कृति को और पनपने और निखार लाने में सहायक होता है।

  • Mr. Mohiuddin Dagar understands (understood) the power and nuance of sound, not just notes. The difference is everything.

  • I live in the states and I feel this music is Godly for lack of a better word. It penetrates thru the soul, so amazing. This tradition should never die. India is the treasurer of the world wether they know it or not. Their culture is very rich in all aspects. No country on the planet can compare in over all human value like India in my opinion. Wish the world would seriously take a look at the Sages that have walked this Earth and all their wisdom. If the people really new they would be wonder struck. Namaste! ❤️

  • Listening to this feels like watching a candle flame flicker or watching sun through shivering tree branches, taking a deep breath after a good cry, drinking a glass of water to balance anxieties.

  • Zia Mohiuddin Dagar is simply the best Rudr Veena player from the Dagar family. This Yaman is a supreme example of his mastery. This is Dhrupad at its best as an exemplar. This is a performance that will transcend the ages, and should be preserved for all time. His other performances should be brought together in one place as a supreme musical archive.

  • This is what I listened to with my 6 day hospital stay giving birth for the first time. I almost died. The first 2 days were a blur, however Ravi brought me back to peace, tranquility and enlightened bonding with my child. I felt pure harmony in a hospital. Even my Dr. would comment his own enjoyment visiting me. He felt peace as well. The power of music.

  • Last year I enjoyed it, playing it several nights. So smooth, touchy! YT recommended it again & I found it disturbing that my comment, even 'like' are removed. Thanks from Great Britain (Sun 16 May 2021 12h20)
