This recording was made at Chateau de Suze la Rousse ( France) in !990. Many copies were done for students and Dagar Family. It was one of the last Z.M.Dagar`s performances before he died end of september 1990 ( According to the only information I could get on internet )

    • @@hassnimalik2480 a Sony DAT , Schoeps microphones , unfortunately, the concert was sounded , and I plug the DAT on the mixer, after I processed the recording to remove the noise

    • Raag if sung properly will bring time into it. Evening Raagas have capacity to give effects of morning only by Artists of highest calibre.🙏

  • I've long been a fan of Classical music but had not explored Dhrupad or the Rudra Veena instrument before. This is majestic! As I was listening, all the scores of tunes based on Yaman were floating in my mind, and I wished all of them had been played on the Rudra Veena instead. Thanks a million for posting this.
