Hello, We are a carpentry development group. I have a deep passion for carpentry, especially wood turning. I was created with the goal to assist and provide valuable insights on woodworking projects, even those from leftover wood pieces.

  • I think if you would pressure wash the bark off first ,it would have taken most of the dirt off also. Your chainsaw may cut better.

  • That turned out beautiful. You need to sharpen your chain, or put a new one, on your saw. That one is extremely dull. It makes your job, twice as hard.

  • Nghệ nhân này chưa đạt đến đỉnh cao của một tác phẩm… quá uổng cho cái lọt vào tay mà chưa ra được một tác phẩm thật.. thay vì 4 chân trụ , ông này không cần phải cắt bỏ mà tạo 4 cái chân quỳ ,thế ngón bấu vào trong sẽ ra được thế mạnh ,còn đỉnh trên của lưng tựa hãy chạm khắc thế ngồi lưng tựa có rồng uốn lượn …tiếc quá …thật tiếc quá .. không phải một vật mà muốn thành tác phẩm vô giá thì phải lọt vào tay nghệ nhân thật thụ… tiếc cho cái gọt bỏ quá nhiều thay vì tạo ra nhiều tác phẩm thật hơn.

  • Non, je n'aime pas, il y avait autre chose a faire avec cetta magnifique souche, cela sans gacher autant de bois, une table par exemple avec un tres beau verre. Quel sacrilège d'une aussi belle piece, couper pratiquement le tronc en deux pour faire un fauteuil même pas confortable, bad and not intelligent work !

  • Ridiculous, cutting into an old stump full of soil and possibly rock. Definitely an exercise in how to dull a chain saw and then continue trying to cut like a hand saw. Sharpen the blade for sake. Why not pressure wash that chunk of wood prior to cutting.

    • The dull blades can be fixed. Water supply is diminishing. Depending upon the wood it may need drying time again
