    • Steadfast Defender is running from january 2024 and will culminate in the MIDST of May! So the russians will attack after or just after th 1. Of may!?? But since the Nato armies are administrated armies they will not let much equipment and again much less ammunition in the east! They will not go home without her equipment since they could in Lack of it never continue such games!!! So please stop such Nonsense Argumentation!!! Thanks a lot in advance!

This brings benefits: Private barracks since cannot share with biological men or women, if you are a parent then you get mother bonus pay, Able to grow a beard since nothing in regulations say women cannot have facial hair, have to pass womens level of fitness, maybe better promotion prospects. All this and you do not even have to change your name or anything else - just declare it.

  • The truth is that Russian short-range hypersonic missiles like the Kinzhal and Zircon are a huge advantage for the Russian armed forces, and NATO has no comparable weapon. The Kinzhal missile can reach the Ukrainian capital, Kiev in just 33 seconds. The incredible Mach 11 speed, combined with maneuverability and unpredictable flight paths, makes hypersonic missiles extremely difficult to defend against. Old Soviet planes can also take off from an improvised runway, such as a motorway. But the F-16 is not suitable for this, it needs a proper military airfield, which makes the aircraft vulnerable, even if it is only used at low altitude, as it has to return to the airfield between sorties.

    @alfredwhite7773@alfredwhite7773Ай бұрын
    • “old” planes, more like tested and reliable and upgraded, easy to replace, you will never see a F35 fly over Ukraine

      @exever_@exever_Ай бұрын
    • It's not about whether the F16s can perform well in Ukraine or not. It's all about the F35s that will replace the F16s that just got donated to Ukraine and the $$$. You will not see an F35 in the warzone because if the Russians take em out Noone will want to buy them and they will lose $$$$ instead. Same reason they where so reluctant to use the Abrams tank. The fact Russian aircraft can operate from poorly maintained airfields is an advantage, the same reason Finland uses F18s they're beefy carrier landing gear allows them to makeshift airfields as well. F16s are not bad, but far from the ideal platform when you have to operate from vulnerable airfields.

    • Ukraine is running out of human resources. Of the almost 40 million inhabitants of Ukraine, 24 million people have temporarily left Ukraine (Source: UN Refugee Agency). There are around 1.4 million Ukrainian refugees in Germany, 90 percent of whom no longer have the intention of ever returning to Ukraine, according to a survey by BILD-ZEITUNG. 3.4 million Ukrainians have fled to Russia, among other places. The Ukrainian army could theoretically mobilize another 950,000 men, but this would require all male and female conscripts aged 16 to 60 (male) and females aged 18 to 55 to be drafted. Ukraine has enough weapons, so much so that they are sold secretly. The US Department of Defense itself had to admit that they do not really know where weapons worth 900 million dollars that were delivered to Ukraine went. Further left-wing deals took place in the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, where around $78 million disappeared into dark channels. The money was supposedly intended for off-road vehicles and mortar shells, but neither was delivered. The most serious problem of the Ukrainian army, no personnel and insufficient ammunition of all kinds.

If it has indeed been a means of NATO improving arms transfers to Ukraine, that structure will remain and be strengthened. There has never been a time the war has not escalated. Until otherwise demonstrated that regime will continue.

    @bcc1955@bcc1955Ай бұрын
    • I agree. The only things that are going to stop this NATO nonsense are 1) running out of arms, 2) running out of funding or 3) resistance to giving funding, 4) running out of soldiers, 5) Zelenskyy gone in a coup (but he's playing it careful with no mobilization and getting rid of opposition figures--though opposition can be working in the dark, and poof, Zelenskyy is gone by his own side), and 6) Russia finishing off this SMO. Russia is key because it is not dependent on what happens with the first five I listed. It keeps keeping on until it reaches its final objective.

The political value of capturing these cities at this point is minimal too. Threatening them ties up Ukraine troops and equipment to secure them. You all know that this war started after assembling Russian troops under the guise of military exercises, and Macron is making his rounds to talk about sending NATO forces. If there is a consensus in NATO until May, the joint forces could march from their exercises right over the border into Ukraine, to reign in the Russian offensive.
