Así construían antes los ventiladores en México y duraban muchos años. Y cuando se descomponian todavía se podían componer y duraban muchos años más. Pero ahora con la modernidad inventaron lo de la obsolescencia programada y tiene uno mucha suerte si te dura dos años y cuando se descomponen ya no tienen compostura son desechables, pero eso sí siguen igual de caros.

The only potential weak point is the oscillation assembly given its plastic. Then again some fans from the 80s use a similar plastic oscillator and they still work fine

I reckon...and I've seen countless of these vids, that they wear this stuff only for the duration of the filmshooting to come across as a little bit more safety minded🤣🤣...and as soon as the filmcrew leaves they toss it aside...but that's what I think. I could be wrong though!!
