This has been a very tough 24 hours for Mark. 1. Anissa 2. Breaking up with Amber 3. Angstrom threatening Mark's family. 4. Killing for the first time. 5. Being stranded in an Alternate dimension for a long period of time.

That web on Mark’s back coming back through the portal was in the comic team-up, where Peter tried attaching a web to Invincible’s back so he could help him out but the portal closed before Peter could make it through

They've said they've set up an efficient production pipeline to not have huge gaps between seasons anymore. Keep in mind that there was a halt to development between seasons 1 and 2 because the latter wasn't greenlit until after the former had aired. And the pandemic didn't help, either. I would assume one season every year from here on out for however long it goes.

Agree to disagree Angstroom was not a world or community hero, like harvey was yet he was a hero in his own head fairly Mark is been the villain in his life, across all his lives Gordon was not such for harvey However, both threaten someone's family😂
I feel bad for his downfall
When Kate died I thought it was stupid because "if i were kate I'd always just let my duplicates fight while I stayed safe" so i'm glad that's the way it actually turned out because it really wouldn't make sense otherwise.
That does make sense but at the same time, we first think 3 guardians died in that fight, then Rex turns out to be okay, then we get the reveals that everyone is fine and it just lessens that moment.

The webbing on Mark when he comes back from the agent spider universe was a callback from the marvel comic where Peter tries to come back with Mark but the portal cuts off the webbing. Mark actually met the avengers as well.

This episode did a great job of setting up whats to come. The title card, the alternate marks, the ‘you survived but wouldnt like what youd become’ line. S3 is going to be great
Just seeing the psychology of mark after he crossed the line was portrayed very well. Seeing the emotions he had to go through was well visualized especially when he's only still a young adult.

@@dangerflyT rex wouldnt have had feathers due to 1). their large size, retaining more heat than smaller dinosaurs. 2). them living in the american forests, having hot climates. Velociraptors lived in the cool deserts of asia, and were very small, which is why they have feathers.

25:05 the Anissa stuff that is being referenced here does not happen until WAY later. We’re taking past season 5. 25:12 the Viltrumite war happens well after the Invincible war. Near the last 1/4 of the comic run
This season felt like it flew by with the pause in the middle, hope S3 arrives soon
I’m not sure that Nolan’s last line dehumanizes him that much, in fact it does the opposite. You have to remember that he grew up for centuries unfamiliar with the idea of empathy. That’s why he left the planet in his final speech with mark in s1, he realized he was starting to feel and couldn’t cope with that. The last line here shows that he’s coming to terms with what it means to actually feel empathy. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t excuse his actions. But this proves that he’s understanding the concepts of empathy and remorse and that has changed him as a person.
When I saw their house rebuilt but not the house across the street I thought of you right away. I loved this season and while I'm excited for next season I'm not going to expect it for another 2 years.

It's sad that Angstrom only villainize the only good Invincible.
That's kinda the sad point really. So caught up in the consequences of the multiverse, he wouldn't even bother to think that maybe this Mark is different. Angstrom has been so overwhelmed by the collective trauma that he absolutely cannot even pause to remember why he began this entire endeavor. It's sad
i'm gonna be brutally honest. this episode kinda didn't live up to the complete hype in my mind. yeah it was like the final episode in season 1 where everything big happens at the start and the rest is just everyone adjusting to that, but i would've loved a compilation at the end of the episode like we saw last season

After seeing Kong use the baby ape as a weapon, I half expected Angstrom to hit Debbie with Oliver
I really enjoyed this episode!! I was literally on the edge of my seat for the whole first half with that fight. Felt so many emotions too it was crazy 😮
22:48 yes but the point is Nolan never meant that line at all. Nolan truly does care about his family. His whole character in season 1 is his conflict of what he feels he needs to do vs what he truly wants. Nolan wanted to live his life with his family and enjoyed being a hero on Earth but as soon as Mark got his powers he then felt like he needed to do his task as an agent of Viltrum. The entire first season everything terrible thing he does and says is him trying to convince himself that this is what he needs to do. He left Earth in tears, full of regret of what he did, destroying everything that he truly loved in thousands of years being alive. It’s literally stated in that scene that he is saddened and regretfully of the damage he’s done.

That thing about Oliver being though is a bit up in the air. Right now, is pretty much a normal baby until the Viltrumite DNA FULLY kicks in... otherwise he's a normal baby, with Thraxan and Viltrumite physical characteristics.
Mark flying through with the web happened in the comics as well, Pete tried to follow Mark in to help him but the portal cut him off.

Gonna be a looooong year. This episode was bonkers, and what an ending, throwing all of that at us in the final third of it all. Top tier episode and season finale. Seriously can’t wait for season 3 now but…ugh, what a wait it’s gonna be.

13:43 I mean, it’s also the payoff to the info Levy learned earlier this season from the captured Mark. That the humans who rebelled caught him by wearing him down and ambushing him when he needed to sleep. But our Mark is clearly more resilient. Some might even call him… **title card** 😂 I do find it interesting though that the spark of defiance against his father all those months ago and the subsequent training (without his father for the most part) has made our Mark a lot more resilient than his other universe counterpart.
