Debbie's fight ,and speech against angstorm proves yet again why she is such a good character better than her comic counterparts.
She is awesome.
We gotta give Sandra Oh her flowers. She's a huge part of bringing her strength to life.
They really make you feel for her more than any other character at this point.

Comicon was funny too, as they explain how animation works.
It felt like an awesome story telling device to let us know that a huge shift is happening for the family. The three bruises shows that this family is still connected through any dimension and all of space. Mark is transitioning to understanding killing is gonna be necessary, nolan is truly seeing the value of all life, debbie is finally dealing with the fact that mark is destined for a life radically different from a human. I love this story so much, got me out of a super depressed time so i appreciate all that attention to detail with these characters bc they are so deep. Also we heard angstrom even mention that debbie is involved in the takeover of earth in other dimensions by joining mark and nolan. Its almost like the invisible string theory lol. Dont want to spoil anything but we will look back at this moment as the beginning of this family’s healing process.

My favourite part was during the fight with Levy, when Mark yells "You have no idea what I've been through! How much I've been holding back!". So much pain, fear, and desperation. The pain from the countless trauma he's endured, the fear of becoming like his dad and/or seeing those he cares about suffering, and the desperation to hold on to he is. Then the dam breaks and so does Levy's skull.
I REALLY wanted Glen to run through the zombie world. That would have been hilarious!

I loved the “spider man” and Batman cameos
I liked how this season mark fights /struggling to fight him self from becoming like his dad which is also foreshadowing what he will fight in future
We're going to see Mark actually grow and disband from that mindset more often later In the series, especially when he figures out... (SPOILER ALERT) Cecils been using super-villains like Sinclair to assist him In the field when he uses the re-animen against Mark and the chip that he put In Marks ear has a super-sonic screech, not to mention his brutal fight with Conquest at the end of the Invincible War. It's gonna be very interesting to see how they handle Mark maturing Into that mindset of killing any super-villain (no matter who or what) that threatens his family.

I have to say I like how Amazon got around using Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus in the episode. When I first read the story where Spider-Man meets Invincible, I thought that because Sony owns the Spider-Man IP in film that they could get away with using him in the Amazon adaptation. But since Invincible is a TV streaming series, that falls under Disney's jurisdiction since they own the Spider-Man IP from a TV perspective. This is a really good use of legal loopholes and creative liberties to your advantage. It's also fitting that Josh Keaton's Agent Spider already knew about multiversal travel since he reprises his role as Spectacular Spider-Man in Across The Spider-Verse.
I knew that Marvel and Disney were never going to allow them to use Spider-Man. They gain nothing from such a deal.

@@lightyagami5083Sony gave back the (short form) TV rights to Spider-Man in contract renegotiations a decade ago. It's the very thing that killed The Spectacular Spider-Man after merely two seasons.
Marvel probably, but it's mostly Disney themselves which they're very delusional and very sensitive to everything, they rather isolate themselves for the young audience then giving the fans what they wanted, which is why their empire is burning to the ground
But they don't lose anything either. If anything it would get people to rewatch or search out other Spider-Man content

I tell you what, I was moved to a tear or two or a tissue box sized event I can't say but, powerful performance by yeun , really powerful.
Dude you totally missed the post credits scene, and it was long. It was about Nolan's desire to die, his feeling guilt and his absolute remorse, his having been changed by his short time among the humans, and his only driving force at this point after no longer feeling like a viltrimute is his newfound desire to see his wife again (presumably he means Debbie since the other one is too old and probably died already).

I'm disappointed we couldn't get the actual Spider-Man especially with the fact JK Simons could have played J. Jonah Jameson & Invincible could have remakerd hiw how reminds him of his dad but over all it was a fantastic cameo & a great episode & hopefully we can get another special episode that shiws what Invincible & Agent Spider got up to & since they're not with holden to only Spider-Man characters if they did use him they could give us an Avengers parody team

It's way easier to do in comic books than movies, rights are way more complex
There's a reason why all the parody references weren't listed by name in the episode. Good luck affording the rights to all those characters for just a 5 second offshoot appearance. It's just not feasible, especially when you can clearly understand the reference
With how the comics have set up the Spider-verse it is so infinite that the Spider-Man we see in the episode could actually be part of the Spider-verse. Although if we are going really crazy there are parts of the Spider-verse where J. Jonah Jameson becomes Spider-Man if they wanted JK Simons to voice a Spider character.

I really liked this episode and the show has been incredible so far! Thank you and great breakdown :) I feel like there were some things missed here and you could've taken more liberties with speculations and credits to the show, but all in all lots of fun and informative to watch 💯

When the future guardians come and save mark eves calls robot Rex, Rex is in the armor to prevent mark from knowing of robots future, foreshadowing him turning.
Then why even have robot come in the first place why not just have Rex come as Rex ?
you're missing the point. Robot's body IS Rex's clone. It's an intriguing scene but don't expect much out of it - if you read the comics you know.
I was really hoping for a breakdown of all the artifacts in Immortal's cabin. I know the hat is Abraham Lincoln's, but I'm not sure about the others. Is that... The Holy Grail??? Also, NO MENTION of REX ROBOT??? I mean, at least a shoutout that adult Rex Robot will be played by Jason Mantzoukas! Finally, I'm really hoping that the two wasteland survivors that Levy casually pushed into portals in the middle of that fight sequence eventually show up again!

I'm surprised you didn't mention that the future Guardians who rescue Mark, Eve calls the person in the Robot armor Rex, not Robot or Rudy. I think some thing happened to Rudy, and Rex took on the mantle of Robot
Or something happened to Rex, and so Rudy (who already has his face and body) also took on the name of Rex out of respect

Except that wasn't actually Robot from the future. It was Rex in a robot suit. Eve calls him Rex, he has Rex's haircut and voice actor.
Rex dies and robot takes his name in a honor of respect in the comics
spider-man holds back just as much as mark if not more. he's also endured so much torture from the one above all. he was the perfect hero for mark to encounter.

That whole Marvel Team-Up run by Kirkman ruled! The fun of a month to month book that pulled from the entire roster of the 616 that did one offs and managed to have an over arching story that played throughout the entire run. Great read, really funny too.
I noticed how every time Mark got his ass kicked really bad, it was always his right eye was purple and swollen. And NEVER his left eye. In this episode, not only did this happen to Mark again, but to Debbie and Nolan as well. All 3 had swollen purple right eyes. It must be a cheap shortcut for the animators.

God, this episode was extremely well made! The voice acting is phenomenal, and it was just a rollercoaster!
I rolled my eyes at the scene with the two female archeologists of them stating how “sexist” it is that the mummy spirit can’t inhabit a female body to end his curse, as it’s just like how when Mark commented to Cecil back in season 1 of how “sexist” it is for a male superhero in wanting to “get the pretty girl.”
Interesting that Spider-Man and many versions of Batman have a no killing rule just to add a few more layers of guilt that Mark crossed that line.

2:52, 7:15, 7:21, How super-strength affects relatively normal individuals has been explored throughout this franchise, but often times, it seems Mark has enough control over his strength to limit the damage he inflicts, wether through super-dexterity or the same force field that enables his flight also allowing him to control the forces he generates and interacts with (and thus, control attributes like his strength, durability and speed) in a similar manner to Superman’s “bio-electric aura” (that and the exaggerated nature of this franchise’s physics means characters are inherently more durable than normal humans anyway, otherwise Mark would’ve kill a majority of his villains on accident with even indirect attacks due to how strong he is), but Mark killing Angstrom both features him being too emotional and undisciplined to control his strength properly and him operating on the assumption that his opponent was tough enough to withstand his strength like the majority of the villains.

Amazing finale just like season 1 finale angstorm levy was a menace there was foreshadowing stuff about to go down next season, we got to see spiderman, batman, cameo invincible variants, the walking dead universe ,and other universe great easter egg ,and references. Im piss off that we didnt get to see Atom ,and invincible kiss ,but it will happen at the beginning or later of season 3 im looking forward to next season if it releases sooner than later.

Had to be the greatest animated comic episode I’ve ever watched in my life. Imagine if marvel had a smidge of this creativity and imagination left?? I just can’t get over how crazy this episode was. This show just gets it all right. Especially with this episode.

This episode single handedly, let alone the series, put does what the MCU and DCEU put out with more brutality and quality!!! Like, I felt Debbie's despair, I felt Mark's self-loathing, and I felt Angstrom's confusion... I miss the Mauler twins, too, lol

The biggest easter egg of this episode was finding a scene without a main character being drawn in the most off model way possible.
Fun fact: there’s Invincible references in King of the hill where Bobby reads a comic called “Unvincible”

You missed Immortal's Abraham Lincoln hat at Immortal's cabin. One of the best running gags from the comic is that the Immortal was Abraham Lincoln.

A funny thing I noticed was that Doc Oct is called Prof Oct, but he calls Doc Seismic Prof Seismic, and Doc Seismic replies "I'm not a professor, I never taught" so thought that was a fun Easter egg
*WHAT IF* Mark actually got bit during his time in the *“Walking Dead Universe”.* It could also be why he is not healing as fast as he normally does (him and his mom still have swollen black eyes at the end of the show)
He's had that black eye from his fight with Anissa, who is a Viltrumite. Nolan's wounds haven't healed either, they regenerate faster than normal but their resilience only goes so far against their own kind. Angstrum could not have inflicted that much damage to Mark himself lol

8:26 pretty sure that isn’t robot, the alternate Eve calls him “Rex” later in the episode and if it was robot his human body would be around the age that mark is currently but it is obviously much older I’m guessing something happened to robot in this time and Rex is using the suit maybe as a extension of his hand?
