Don't worry I enjoyed it a lot too. Been so disappointed in marvel lately, I started rewatching the old ones, and compared to nowadays marvel, all marvel movies up until no way home is such a masterpiece

The parts that have his touch, the horror elements, carmera angles and cinematography are the only saving graces of Dr Strange 2. The greatest example of a misleading character trailer. Ultron seems so menacing and evil here but in the movie hes not scary at all. Whoever edited the trailer props to you, incredible work.

+Cosmic Contrarian MCU is made by disney. Disney is a childrens company. MCU is more directed at children and teenagers but the drama is interesting enough for adults to enjoy. But they would not let ultron be as menacing as he should be due to the fact that they dont want parents complaining that their 6 year old is having nightmares of a menacing robot who is destroying the world.

Those are consequences not stakes, it's easy to find thousand of consequences from every movie leading up to the last.

We get dreams sequences showing Tony's fear about his lack of control and fear of the future (which later manifests into Ultron). We're shown Natasha's fear that she'll never be anything more than the manipulative killing machine the people in her past made her into. We're shown Captain America's fear that without war, he has no place or home in the world. Ultron sees himself as the saviour the Avengers wish they could be and in a way he has a point. When Ultron first meets the team, they're celebrating a victory that in Ultron's mind they haven't earned. People like Strucker are still around standing in the way of real peace. Ultron comes to the conclusion that as long as humanity has free will, peace will never be achievable. Ultron is desperate for control to a point where he is willing to get the population down so he can rule over what's left and force them to act in accordance to his idea of morality. Ultron's way of achieving peace would be undeniably better for the world statistically, but when you take away humanity's choice to do bad, you also take away any chance for personal growth. We see this in Nick Fury and how much he's changed since Winter Soldier. There's a Greek marble statue of the Avengers at the end of Age of Ultron. Hawkeye's wife calls the Avengers "gods." The Avengers end up with a bunker that much like Hawkeye's farm is closer to the ground and more connected to humanity. This shows that Stark and by extension the Avengers have overcome their resentment and need for control and have come the accept their role in the world as preservers of life. Also Vision is Jesus and him lifting Mjolnir shows that the Avengers have divine approval. Symbolism "You want to protect the world, but you don't want it to change. How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to... evolve? " - Ultron "Ultron thinks we're monsters, that we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him, it's about whether he's right." - Captain America The reason Zack Snyder's movies are so terrible is because there's no conflict or clash of ideologies. When the heros fight the villains in a Zack Snyder film, it has all the depth of a violent football match.
Finally Ultron got spotlight he deserves in what if episode 8.

Although this film wasn’t liked by many, you have to admit that it really set up every Marvel studios Instalment that released after the movie. It started Civil War (Sokovia Accords and Zemo), it made WandaVision a reality, it teased the Infinity stones, Teased Thanos, Created the Vision, Teased Steve’s “worthiness” to Mjolnir, and so much more. This film is one of the reasons why the latest Marvel projects were a success. Edit: 1K in 4 days pretty much shows how many people are still watching this trailer.

Honestly, the tone was pretty consistent the whole movie. Ultron did quip but he had serious moments like his fist scene, his plan to tear the Avengers apart, his insanity to wipe out humanity that made Pietro and Wanda switch sides.

I hope when he comes back, he has a still face. I like his comedy personally but he should be more scary ya know. He also should act like he’s got nothing to lose, because he WONT lose.

While I loved the tone of the trailer I expected the movie to not really be like it, all the MCU movies have dark elements in them but they're never full on dark and gritty, I mean even Endgame had lighthearted and funny moments
It carried a dark grim tone. Iron man confronting his paranoia. the twins made by the mind stone. Ultron wanting to annhilate the human race. The death of the mutant running man forgot his name. The dark visions betrothed by Scarlet Witch. The political climate of people under stress by the Avengers and whatnot. The color palettes were dark. Ultron seeing the evil in man and its solution to restart with a more evolutionized cybernetic human race.
imagine time travelling back to when this trailer was released and then telling people in a decades time we'll be getting secret wars, tobey and andrew meets the newly casted spiderman (who was tom holland at the time) and we'll be getting the king dynasty, an actually good fantastic 4 reboot. Possibly Hugh jackman's wolverine showing up in the mcu and more
Fantastic 4 in the comics are my favorite fictional characters I can only pray the movies do them right

This could’ve been the MCU’s equivalent of “The Empire Strikes back” if they went along with this trailer’s dark tone. They had all the right tools to make it work, *especially* James Spader as Ultron. But they dropped the ball.

I think hayward in wandavision is ultron, hence why he's keeping track of vision in the hex. Plus at the end of each episode for whatever reason it keeps suggesting age of ultron. If that's not enough evidence, james spader is a cast member of the show when you look it up on google. If you ask me, I think marvel has been putting off the actual age of ultron until now!

Noa w. Espíritu some people say that IW is better than endgame while others say Endgame is better than IW. Personally, if you’ve watched every single marvel movie before IW and Endgame, IW just makes so much more sense and is so much more perfect. Endgame didn’t live up to its potential. I don’t hate Endgame but Infinity War was so much more better. Endgame wasn’t that bad though. I wasn’t disappointed, just not satisfied

This trailer gave Ultron such an OMINOUS intimidating tone, like he was EMH. With the creepy music but I personally didn't like how they made him all wise cracking in the film tbh
