It's an incredibly overpriced GT package that isn't even a bespoke shelby, recognition for what exactly? Might as well get a gt500 at this point
@@Nah5534 Bro. The S550 and S650 Super Snakes are all handmade. And the interior is the same with quality. Something you don’t find in the GT500 being off a production line made by machines. And all Shelby’s are made using a existing mustang and adding on it. Why is it so new to you??? And also, if you modify a Mustang GT using the same supercharger, most you’ll get is 750 hp, and Shelby achieved 825 to 830 hp because of the parts they use for the super snake that is available only on the super snake, meaning you have to buy the super snake to get its power. And it’s able to be modified up to 1500 hp, and Shelby tuned it specifically for track as well and to be as light as possible, something you wouldn’t achieve in a Whipple GT. Also, I’m surprised that if you see the super snake as a mustang gt, then what’s stopping you from thinking a GT500 is a Eaton GT350, heck a Eaton GT350 will be faster and make more power than the GT500, and I am surprised that you don’t think the Redeye is a detuned demon or a ZL1 is a supercharged SS or a corvette engine swapped SS. My god how dumb people got.
@benjaminmatute9085 My man it doesn't take an 150k mustang to make 860 crank, there's nothing proprietary about it. You can easily make 700+whp with adjusted timing and pulling boost with flex logic. Cmon brother at least know what your talking about
@@Nah5534 Yes but you are never getting to the same power of the super snake. And it’s not just straight line speed, the super snake is also very focused towards track and it’s insanely lightweight for the power it has, the S550 super snake weighed as much as a GT350 for 250 more horsepower, and it’s downforce not helping either, yet it still weighs as much as GT350. Showing that Shelby, like they said, were not kidding when they said that they are making the super snake as lightweight as possible. So anyway, let’s assume that you are able to get to the same HP level of the super snake without breaking your wallet. You still will turn out heavier and less track worthy. So even if you try to tune a GT on the same supercharger to beat a super snake. It’s not going to work out good for you. And you are also not getting around the amount of quality a super snake has. So moral of the story is that no matter how good you try to make your mustang. Shelby will still be better.

This Mustang could be used in a Killer Car film like the big old Lincoln from the 70's film idea. This Mustang snarls and growls and wants to eat what ever is ahead of it! I love it. But I will say my 90 Mustang GT exhaust is louder and sounds better. You want to hear thunder, You'll hear mine with such a drag racing roar to it. Gotta add great video and cool synthwave music!

Easily the nicest looking Mustang for me ever made, Shelby package or not but this Shelby edition is beautiful. The stance, exhaust/engine note, interior, all looks so much better than anything before it.
😂😂 no it does not. It looks like some souped up Honda accord performance coupe. Way too many busy details, too round looking. The S197’s were better looking cars that held true to the original Mustang heritage, especially the 05-09 models. This car will not age well.
The only thing they have right in the looks department for this car is the back of it.

The thing about all mustangs has always been they have always looked amazing, always sounded amazing but they have always been low on power. A 1.9 tonne super car with a 5-6 litre engine needs way more than 450-500bhp to even be considered fast.

Мне все в нем нравится кроме выхлопа...и антикрыла слишком сильно шумит ... я бы сделал максимально тихий звук и крыло убрал ...изменив форму багажника и задний дифузор нагрузил работой для решения проблемы повышения загрузки задней оси на высокой скорости....

The exhaust sounds incredible! Probably the best sounding modern Mustang with a Shelby badge on it (sorry GT500 folks).
If you like loud and raspy, sure. There have been much better sounding Mustangs that actually sound like a muscle car.
@@newfie-dean5803 Well, the pushrod 5.0 sound is gone forever. The Coyote has a great exotic sound, and can be deep depending on the exhaust. This Shelby has a perfect balance of muscle and exotic sound. The Predator has the closest sound today to the old pushrod 5.0.
