  • That's serious repair right there. They added a second direction with the belted patch but I wouldn't want to do much more than 40mph on it. I bet they don't go much over 40 where the tire travels anyway. For the money they make, a set of tires is a massive expense.

    • Не получится так у них для этих колес специальные ремонтные диски идут в другом видео видел а то что ты хочешь сделать будет сыромятина непригодная, там ведь правильно электрод надо согнуть добавить местной спец грязи а если прическа не как у них то даже не берись.

  • The sketchiest part is the way they tie in the cord of the tire. I am not sure there is a good way to do it, but that part makes my blood run cold. The rest is all fairly legit... Vulcanized rubber and all that. I get it, it is a poor country. With the roads and the way the vehicles are maintained, this tire may not be the sketchiest part of the vehicle...

  • SIDEWALL repair by the experts and tire engineers under no conditions recommend repairing a sidewall on tires . A repair of such would be for temporarily until a replacement can be purchased. For slow moving vehicles it would be probably acceptable because of the type of use at slow speeds however, a sidewall repair for cars traveling over 40 mph and highway speeds is. A DEATHTRAP ! YOUR LIFE IF YOU VALUE IT IS WORTH A GOOD TIRE THAT HAS THREAD AND NO REPAIRS TO THE SIDEWALLS! THIS IS FACT NOT " DUH.... I THINK SO!

    • If they can do it, why won't Discount Tire do that repair for me ?

      @martinlohstroh@martinlohstroh2 жыл бұрын
    • @@martinlohstroh They do not have OSHA and Lawyers, but in truth that repair should not ever be done. IF the casing is viable a proper section repair can be done, but that is not the way to do it. If you notice how grey that tire is, that indicates just how old that casing is. the more grey the older and less flex able the tire is, therefore the repair cannot vulcanize properly. also they do not have enough heat or pressure to do a section repair.

In America, our politicians policies makers, our companies, our technicians are oftentimes wanted to putting brand new tires on our vehicles, for one reason only, SAFETY on our public roads. With tiny less than 15 micron, three weeks air leaks, technicians rejected repairs, but replaced with new tire. NTB technicians and manger decided not safe on public roads. Therefore, they out of business. American companies ran and operated by smart profits figures. American is my home, but those came to America made money (robbed) then left massive wounded on American citizens.
